Really Greek food, the way you want it. And the prices are absolutely great. I like to come here again and again.

Very friendly staff, outstanding food and highly professional even when problems arise! There were three of us there, we had the appetizer platter (great!) and then various dishes. In my grilled dishes, the pork fillet was oversalted, which was criticized by the service. A replacement came immediately, but unfortunately it was also oversalted - according to the waitress, they tried it and agreed that it was very salty. Then there was lamb and gyros, which were great, as another replacement on top. The dish wasn't halved on the bill either - which in my opinion absolutely didn't have to be because I was more than compensated! Then there was also dessert on the house, so we had to counteract this with the tip so that we could compensate for that somewhat ;) In short: even if a small part was a bit oversalted, the response was professional, extremely friendly and quick. The food is very good and everyone has slipped on a bit of salt at some point, so for me there is absolutely no reason not to come back or to justify any deductions here. Go and see for yourself, it's really delicious and you'll feel like you're in good hands!!

The atmosphere is very nice and in summer there is also a beer garden. We were warmly welcomed. The younger, light-haired waiter was super friendly and very attentive. I was amazed by the service. The food came quickly and tasted very good. The gyro was buttery soft. However, I found the garlic pita to be too garlicky. You get an ouzo as a greeting and a farewell. There is an alcohol-free alternative for children. You can park on the street for free. I hope my review was helpful.

Well, what can you say? Top Greek restaurant. Nothing to complain about. We have been there many times and have also celebrated birthdays there with the family. All highly recommended! By the way (some guests probably don't realize this) you can easily park in the community center parking lot. This is estimated to be only 150m. Parking is free and safe there. Plus, you can get some fresh air after a good, plentiful meal :-)

Super delicious and fresh food... lovingly furnished, guests' requests are taken into account, the salad bar is always very fresh, varied... we come here especially from Rosbach because we like it very much, we feel very comfortable here and it just tastes great. Anyone who has a dog is not welcome there, dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, so there is no restaurant for us that we will go to. We can't judge whether the service and food are good.

Last night we spontaneously had dinner at the Acropolis. The service is very friendly and attentive. The food was great. We were able to create our own plates at a small salad buffet. To start a delicious meal there was an ouzo. Likewise afterwards. The restaurant was full to capacity, but we still received our order in a short time. The meat was very well fried/grilled and presented attractively on the plate. The tzatziki is to die for. We can only recommend the Acropolis and will definitely come back.

Best Greek Restaurant in Wetterau! Nice and experienced staff, kitchen can withstand all stress (even at Christmas), quality is absolutely on par with the moderate price level. Eight of us ate there on December 25th, 2017 - the portions fill even hungry visitors: little fighters eat up the leftovers from the adult table neighbors ;-) The obligatory ouzo is served before and after the meal, and the service is attentive and quick. If you want to experience something tasty, choose a dish with Metaxa sauce. The salad bar is narrow but exquisite. Unfortunately the noise level is a bit high when the house is full, but otherwise there is nothing to complain about (even after 4 years and at least 10 visits). UPDATE December 25th, 2024: again with 10 people, the move to Mittelbuchen was a few years ago - but the dishes are still good and everyone is fed up! The only thing I miss a bit is the olives in the starter salad buffet. Schmunzler: I bought a rooster from a Greek island. Crete? Yes, but only in the morning.

I love the Acropolis! In summer you can sit comfortably outside in the courtyard and enjoy the delicious food that always tastes good. We also like to have deliveries delivered from the Acropolis. It never takes long and the food arrives hot. The staff in the restaurant as well as the delivery people are all very friendly and accommodating! Parking is a little tricky as there is no direct parking lot, but you can live with that.

Price performance very good. Salad bar always filled and extremely fresh. Service absolutely attentive and friendly.

Update: Luckily you no longer just have to order and pick up, but can once again enjoy the great food in the great Greek atmosphere of the restaurant. We have been coming here for many, many years (previously Altenstadt) and always experience a perfect Greek evening. Update: GREAT! I ordered something today and picked it up. As always, super delicious, everything as it should be. It was so much, I almost didn't finish it. I can only recommend everyone to order something Greek for home. Very good restaurant. Cozy, friendly, delicious.

We already know this Greek from his previous location in Altenstadt. He has changed his concept a bit and that is really positive. Very, very tasty food and really friendly staff. The prices are also completely reasonable. The restaurant itself has a cozy atmosphere. All in all, we really enjoy coming to eat here.

A Greek restaurant in Hanau, in a quiet location, very busy on a Saturday evening in the summer, so that all outdoor seating was only available with a reservation. It was very warm inside and you were sweating on the artificial leather covers. Nevertheless, the restaurant seemed authentically Greek. There was a salad buffet with a small selection of fresh salads. We shared the starter because the plate was already very generously filled. The main courses were hearty and tasty, very hot and filling. The ouzo at the end was good for digestion. The service was friendly, but unfortunately they couldn't always keep up - for example with cutlery, as they were already very busy on the outside terrace.

We were there for dinner with 5 people. We were able to sit outside where the great big tree with its sprawling branches creates a great "natural roof". Very !!! friendly and attentive service. Ended up here by chance on Sunday lunchtime. Super friendly staff, got a table straight away. You could put together your own side salad in the next room, and the main courses came quickly and were very filling. Very good in terms of taste and appearance. We ordered food 4 times this week via Lieferando. The order arrived without any problems, everything else was a disaster - The onion schnitzel was spoiled, but my wife and I didn't have that until the next time Day noticed because we both ate this schnitzel and had a stomach ache and got diarrhea. - In the village plate, the lamb crown was as toe as the sole of a foot. - The gyro was okay but with little taste This week I will inform the food authority in Gelnhausen that this store, among other things, delivers spoiled food. I can't understand how anyone can deliver such food with a clear conscience.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Acropolis in Hanau-Mittelbuchen and I have to say, I am absolutely thrilled. I have been a loyal customer of the delivery service for some time and it is always first class. The deliveries are always on time, the drivers are friendly, and the portions are generous. Even on the phone, you always meet the junior manager with a warm manner, which makes the service all the more pleasant. Almost three weeks ago I decided to visit the restaurant in person and was not disappointed. The service was first class and the portions were just as generous as delivery. The quality of the food was excellent and the opportunity to treat yourself to a complimentary salad at the salad buffet with each main course is a wonderful addition. The ambience and atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the light in the restaurant creates a warm, inviting atmosphere, you almost feel like you are in Greece, even though you are in Hanau-Mittelbuchen. All in all, I can fully recommend the Acropolis. Whether you choose the delivery service or spend an evening in the restaurant, you will always be treated to excellent food and outstanding service. It was the absolute best meal of my life. The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere was great. The food was my personal highlight. The starter came quickly and was already a lot, the main course was an absolute culinary delight. Unfortunately it's too far away from me, otherwise I would be a regular there after tonight. It's absolutely amazing, so incredibly delicious😍 I've never written a review on Google before, but after tonight I had to. The mom there cooks herself and is an incredibly great cook. Absolutely recommended for everyone within a 100km radius, there is nothing better. There was also a short private conversation with mother and son, they are such warm people.🙏🏻 We ourselves are 220km away, but we would love to come back🙏🏻

We can and appreciate the Acropolis since our time in Altenstadt. The service is friendly and attentive, personal requests regarding the composition of the dishes are taken into account and there is a short waiting time until the food is served. The main courses include salad from the buffet. The quality of the food is great. ...and of course there is no lack of a friendly ouzo as a warm welcome - feel good like in Greece and in the middle of Mittelbuchen. Keep it up - we'll be happy to come back!

Have been happy for many years, despite changing locations over the years. Even though Sunday was full house, we still found a place for two. I had the octopus and my friend had the village plate. The lamb crown was excellent and the steak had a really nice grilled aroma. The salad buffet really appealed to me. After an ouzo beforehand and one at the end, the whole thing was rounded off. Unfortunately I saw too late (at the neighboring table) that they were offering Aperol Spritz, the menu only said Aperol. There is also no indication that pita is available with the starters. Unfortunately, the lovely white wine wasn't our cup of tea, somehow lifeless, but that's a matter of taste. I'm definitely looking forward to sitting outside with you in the summer.

At the weekend I can only recommend everyone to reserve a place in good time. Otherwise it will be more than difficult to get one. We have been here several times and have always been satisfied.

Gestern über Lieferando bestellt, aber der Fahrer hatte einen Unfall und es konnte nicht geliefert werden. Heute nochmal bestellt und 2 Nachtisch und 2 Flaschen. Wein als Wiedergutmachung bekommen. Das nenne ich Mal Kundenbindung. Vielen Dank hierfür nochmal. Das Essen war auch sehr gut, besonders das Gyros in Weisswein/Sahnesauce. Weiter so !!!

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Salat ist frisch und knackig, das Fleisch zart. Alles war sehr lecker. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient.

Kenne das Restaurant schon sehr sehr lange inlusive den indischen Vorbesitzern. Aber jetzt ist der freundlichste Service und ein super gutes Essen vorhanden.

Wir waren vor ein paar Monaten mal vor Ort essen. Da war alles ganz gut aber nicht herausragend. Heute haben wir mal den Lieferservice (via Lieferando) getestet. Vor ab: Bestellung lief problemlos, Bestellung kam korrekt an und es wurde schneller gelieferten als angegeben. Fahrer war sehr freundlich. Das Essen war leider eine komplette Enttäuschung. - Bifteki war komplett fad. - Bifteki überbacken mit Käse in 'Metaxa Soße' war im Prinzip das oben genannte geschmacklose Bifteki mit einem Stück Käse drüber und das ganze ertränkt in Tomatensoße (!!!). Hat gerochen und geschmeckt wie klassische Liefer-Lasagne. Ich kann nicht verstehen, wie man solches Essen mit gutem Gewissen ausliefern kann. Preis-Leistung passt hier leider gar nicht.
