I love the Acropolis! In summer you can sit comfortably outside in the courtyard and enjoy the delicious food that always tastes good. We also like to have deliveries delivered from the Acropolis. It never takes long and the food arrives hot. The staff in the restaurant as well as the delivery people are all very friendly and accommodating! Parking is a little tricky as there is no direct parking lot, but you can live with that.

Price performance very good. Salad bar always filled and extremely fresh. Service absolutely attentive and friendly.

We already know this Greek from his previous location in Altenstadt. He has changed his concept a bit and that is really positive. Very, very tasty food and really friendly staff. The prices are also completely reasonable. The restaurant itself has a cozy atmosphere. All in all, we really enjoy coming to eat here.

Update: Luckily you no longer just have to order and pick up, but can once again enjoy the great food in the great Greek atmosphere of the restaurant. We have been coming here for many, many years (previously Altenstadt) and always experience a perfect Greek evening. Update: GREAT! I ordered something today and picked it up. As always, super delicious, everything as it should be. It was so much, I almost didn't finish it. I can only recommend everyone to order something Greek for home. Very good restaurant. Cozy, friendly, delicious.

A Greek restaurant in Hanau, in a quiet location, very busy on a Saturday evening in the summer, so that all outdoor seating was only available with a reservation. It was very warm inside and you were sweating on the artificial leather covers. Nevertheless, the restaurant seemed authentically Greek. There was a salad buffet with a small selection of fresh salads. We shared the starter because the plate was already very generously filled. The main courses were hearty and tasty, very hot and filling. The ouzo at the end was good for digestion. The service was friendly, but unfortunately they couldn't always keep up - for example with cutlery, as they were already very busy on the outside terrace.

We were there for dinner with 5 people. We were able to sit outside where the great big tree with its sprawling branches creates a great "natural roof". Very !!! friendly and attentive service. Ended up here by chance on Sunday lunchtime. Super friendly staff, got a table straight away. You could put together your own side salad in the next room, and the main courses came quickly and were very filling. Very good in terms of taste and appearance. Delicious food, nice and attentive service, but a bit cramped in the dining room and also cramped at the table (with starter, side salad, bread, several drinks, water, wine, etc.). Unfortunately no parking spaces, but nearby at the Megrfunktionhalle.

We ordered food 4 times this week via Lieferando. The order arrived without any problems, everything else was a disaster - The onion schnitzel was spoiled, but my wife and I didn't have that until the next time Day noticed because we both ate this schnitzel and had a stomach ache and got diarrhea. - In the village plate, the lamb crown was as toe as the sole of a foot. - The gyro was okay but with little taste This week I will inform the food authority in Gelnhausen that this store, among other things, delivers spoiled food. I can't understand how anyone can deliver such food with a clear conscience.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Acropolis in Hanau-Mittelbuchen and I have to say, I am absolutely thrilled. I have been a loyal customer of the delivery service for some time and it is always first class. The deliveries are always on time, the drivers are friendly, and the portions are generous. Even on the phone, you always meet the junior manager with a warm manner, which makes the service all the more pleasant. Almost three weeks ago I decided to visit the restaurant in person and was not disappointed. The service was first class and the portions were just as generous as delivery. The quality of the food was excellent and the opportunity to treat yourself to a complimentary salad at the salad buffet with each main course is a wonderful addition. The ambience and atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the light in the restaurant creates a warm, inviting atmosphere, you almost feel like you are in Greece, even though you are in Hanau-Mittelbuchen. All in all, I can fully recommend the Acropolis. Whether you choose the delivery service or spend an evening in the restaurant, you will always be treated to excellent food and outstanding service. It was the absolute best meal of my life. The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere was great. The food was my personal highlight. The starter came quickly and was already a lot, the main course was an absolute culinary delight. Unfortunately it's too far away from me, otherwise I would be a regular there after tonight. It's absolutely amazing, so incredibly delicious😍 I've never written a review on Google before, but after tonight I had to. The mom there cooks herself and is an incredibly great cook. Absolutely recommended for everyone within a 100km radius, there is nothing better. There was also a short private conversation with mother and son, they are such warm people.🙏🏻 We ourselves are 220km away, but we would love to come back🙏🏻

We can and appreciate the Acropolis since our time in Altenstadt. The service is friendly and attentive, personal requests regarding the composition of the dishes are taken into account and there is a short waiting time until the food is served. The main courses include salad from the buffet. The quality of the food is great. ...and of course there is no lack of a friendly ouzo as a warm welcome - feel good like in Greece and in the middle of Mittelbuchen. Keep it up - we'll be happy to come back!

Have been happy for many years, despite changing locations over the years. Even though Sunday was full house, we still found a place for two. I had the octopus and my friend had the village plate. The lamb crown was excellent and the steak had a really nice grilled aroma. The salad buffet really appealed to me. After an ouzo beforehand and one at the end, the whole thing was rounded off. Unfortunately I saw too late (at the neighboring table) that they were offering Aperol Spritz, the menu only said Aperol. There is also no indication that pita is available with the starters. Unfortunately, the lovely white wine wasn't our cup of tea, somehow lifeless, but that's a matter of taste. I'm definitely looking forward to sitting outside with you in the summer.

Although it no longer looks so virginal from the outside, the team manages to create an unforgettable evening for their guests with their open and friendly manner. The price/performance ratio is great. The quality of the food is impressive and the service is very attentive and good. You can also be satisfied with the selection of drinks. At the weekend I can only recommend everyone to reserve a place in good time. Otherwise it will be more than difficult to get one. We have been here several times and have always been satisfied.

Gestern über Lieferando bestellt, aber der Fahrer hatte einen Unfall und es konnte nicht geliefert werden. Heute nochmal bestellt und 2 Nachtisch und 2 Flaschen. Wein als Wiedergutmachung bekommen. Das nenne ich Mal Kundenbindung. Vielen Dank hierfür nochmal. Das Essen war auch sehr gut, besonders das Gyros in Weisswein/Sahnesauce. Weiter so !!!

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Salat ist frisch und knackig, das Fleisch zart. Alles war sehr lecker. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient.

Kenne das Restaurant schon sehr sehr lange inlusive den indischen Vorbesitzern. Aber jetzt ist der freundlichste Service und ein super gutes Essen vorhanden.

Wir waren vor ein paar Monaten mal vor Ort essen. Da war alles ganz gut aber nicht herausragend. Heute haben wir mal den Lieferservice (via Lieferando) getestet. Vor ab: Bestellung lief problemlos, Bestellung kam korrekt an und es wurde schneller gelieferten als angegeben. Fahrer war sehr freundlich. Das Essen war leider eine komplette Enttäuschung. - Bifteki war komplett fad. - Bifteki überbacken mit Käse in 'Metaxa Soße' war im Prinzip das oben genannte geschmacklose Bifteki mit einem Stück Käse drüber und das ganze ertränkt in Tomatensoße (!!!). Hat gerochen und geschmeckt wie klassische Liefer-Lasagne. Ich kann nicht verstehen, wie man solches Essen mit gutem Gewissen ausliefern kann. Preis-Leistung passt hier leider gar nicht.

Wir waren heute wieder Mal zu zweit bei Euch. Wir sind jedes Mal vom sehr guten Service und den geschmackvollen Gerichten begeistert. Die Preise stimmen auch! Hier bekommt man hohe Qualität für sein Geld ! Die Lammfilets sind hauchzart und der Garpunkt on Point!!! Von der Vorspeise über den Hauptgang hin zum Dessert- Alles stimmt. Ich war nicht begeistert. Auf Masse angelegt. Leber gegrillt ging gar nicht. Geschmack ist immer subjektiv. Aber bestellen würde ich es nicht mehr.

Fleisch war zäh und knorbelig, sehr versalzen. Ambiente ganz okay, so große Portionen bei diesen Fleisch Preisen.... Na, ja. Hauptsache viel auf dem Teller...... die Gerichte sehr stark würzen, dann schmeckt das schon. Wer es mag.....

Wow. Die Qualität und der Service sind aus Altenstadt nach Mittelbuchen mit rüber gezogen. Wir sind heute das erste Mal in Mittelbuchen gewesen und das war mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Das Essen und Trinken und natürlich der Service waren mehr als überragend. Leider kann ich nur 5 Sterne vergeben. Sonst wären es wesentlich viel mehr. Zweistellig ... Vielen Dank für den schönen und leckeren Abend. Vielen Dank für alles. Macht weiter so. Der Chef und seine Mannschaft sind und bleiben unerreicht.

Service super freundlich, man sitzt gemütlich. Beilagen austauschen kostet mindestens 80 Cent, geht gar nicht. Das Fleisch hat alles gleich geschmeckt, egal ob Bifteki, Gyros oder Souflaki. Überall das gleiche Gewürz. Rumpsteak war sehr gut, auf den Punkt gebraten. Beilagensalat muss man sich am Buffet holen. Alles in allem, naja....

Das Essen ist echt sehr sehr lecker. Waren jetzt 2x dort essen einzige was bissi schade ist das die Vorspeisenplatte für 2 Personen leider viel mehr verschiedene Sachen hat als die Vorspeisenplatte für 1 Person. Finden wir Schade haben die leckeren Griechischenkäse drauf vermisst und die Leckere Käsecreme. Villt war es ein Versehen und es wurde vergessen. Die Salattheke ist auch wirklich schön aufgebaut Wir kommen wieder.

Haben uns spontan entschieden hier einfach mal einen Tisch zu reservieren(Vormittag) und haben es nicht bereut.....! Fuhren wir doch schon so oft hier vorbei und haben uns immer wieder gesagt"hier könnten wir doch mal essen gehen !" So unscheinbar es von außen auch scheinen mag,der Innenraum war sehr schön gestaltet und hat uns gut gefallen! Wurden sehr nett empfangen und zu unserem Tisch geführt. Ein so gut gefülltes Restaurant zu einer solch frühen Uhrzeit habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gesehen! Hier passt meiner Meinung nach alles zusammen. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung!!!!

Wir fahren so oft an diesem Restaurant vorbei und dachten uns: ok, es wird Zeit es auszuprobieren. Von außen wirkt es recht unscheinbar, dafür überzeugt der Rest umso mehr. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr nett empfangen und zu unserem Tisch gebracht - zum Glück hatten wir vorab reserviert. Denn als wir 10 min nach Ladenöffnung dort ankamen war ein Gastraum schon komplett voll. Der zweite füllte sich innerhalb von 15 Minuten. Ein gutes Zeichen 😁 Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend. Ich habe noch nie so zartes Gyros gegessen und dann diese Käsetaschen als Vorspeise..... Superlecker! Auch der Wein hat genau meinen Geschmack getroffen. (kleine Anmerkung: ich bin gelernte Köchin) Die Bedienung war trotz des vollen Hauses sehr freundlich und hat sich die Zeit genommen unsere Fragen zu den Gerichten zu beantworten. Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war außergewöhnlich gut. Fazit: Klare Weiterempfehlung! Wenn ihr dort essen gehen wollt, vergesst nicht zu reservieren und plant 5 min mehr für die Parkplatzsuche ein. Es sind leider direkt am Gebäude keine vorhanden, aber in der näheren Umgebung findet man eigentlich recht schnell etwas.

Wir waren heute auf Empfehlung zum ersten Mal dort und wir sind begeistert. Sehr freundlicher toller Service - sehr leckeres Essen - wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
