Aiko Sushi & Grill in Chemnitz

We were there with a group of 15 people. Ordering is conveniently done via tablet, which can be done every 10 minutes. The waiters then come and simply place what you have ordered on the table. This may not be a problem for a group of maybe a maximum of 8 people, but for us it regularly led to chaos when what we actually ordered ended up at the other end of the table and we didn't know whether it was already there or not. Otherwise, the food tastes good and the prices are reasonable.

Very tasty food, friendly staff, great ambience. I found a new favorite restaurant in Chemnitz.

We ordered for 4 people, 2 wanted all-you-can-eat and 2 (due to stomach surgery) ordered from the menu as normal. But that wasn't possible... even 2 tables next to each other were rejected by the rude and overwhelmed service. They would have seated us separately at different ends of the dining room. Thank you for ruining a nice evening with friends. We won't be coming back, there are better Asians in town.

Ordering food via tablet works great and comes extremely quickly, even if the employees tend to mix up the tables. The selection in the evening is slightly limited, but understandable with all-you-can-eat. Unfortunately, the staff are so busy with the restaurant being full that you tend to be ignored when you want to pay to go. Overall, it's fine if you have the time and hunger.

The food is delicious and leaves nothing to be desired. The service should be better as we had to wait a long time for our first order and for the bill. Unfortunately it was unbearably warm and stuffy in the restaurant. The latter should definitely be fixed.

The food is very tasty but many employees are very rude and aggressive and often food is missing or only arrives 3-4 rounds later. In general I cannot recommend the restaurant!!!

Food was brought to the table quickly and tasted good. Unfortunately, the service wasn't really nice and we didn't get a tray and had to take care of it ourselves because they had forgotten. The ambience in the restaurant is okay, so it's not the nicest restaurant I've been to. The toilets also needed a little more maintenance as there was no paper left to wipe hands with.

Delicious sushi 🍣 and meat dishes. There's something for every taste. The ambience is very elegant. The staff is super nice and quick. There are few parking spaces available and very narrow. Sesame balls are not recommended.

If you want to eat good sushi 🍣 and more, I can only recommend Aiko. I've been to All You Can Eat three times so far and it's been excellent every time. You always order 5 smaller dishes per person via tablet, which are then brought to you one by one. After 10 minutes you can order the next round until you are completely full. 😄👍🏼 Despite the quantity, the quality is by no means compromised, whether it's edamame beans, meat, vegetables or desserts (I love sesame balls, for example 🤤) - everything is really good. It's really fun, especially with friends in a group, and is a real culinary experience in Chemnitz. 😚♥️

The Aiko impresses with a perfect combination of exquisite cuisine, stylish ambience and good service. As soon as I entered the restaurant I noticed the tasteful and modern furnishings. The harmonious lighting and the well-thought-out interior design create a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere that invites you to linger. The menu at Aiko offers an impressive selection of exquisite dishes that impress both visually and tastefully. Each course was a masterpiece in itself – fresh, creative and prepared with great attention to detail. The ingredients were of the highest quality and the flavors were perfectly balanced. I would particularly like to highlight the sushi, which not only tasted excellent but was also artfully presented. In summary, I can warmly recommend the Aiko restaurant in Chemnitz. It is the ideal place for a special dinner, be it a romantic evening for two, a meeting with friends or a celebration. The Aiko was convincing in every respect and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Always delicious. Not recommended during peak times on Friday and Saturday evenings as everything takes longer and orders are forgotten, but great at other times.

The atmosphere is modern and very inviting. The food tastes very good and we really enjoy going here. On Fridays/weekends, when there's a lot going on, one or two dishes quickly get lost in the evening. Which is understandable for many people, but I'm still deducting a star from the service because of it. Otherwise a recommendation for delicious sushi 🍣

Ordered all u can eat. I am absolutely satisfied!! Food comes super quickly. Everything tastes great! (even with a full house everything goes really quickly) Even after the third visit, the waiters and waitresses haven't made a mistake. Super friendly staff! Everything very elegant and clean. Since most of the time only the all you can eat option was worth it, I now find it simply too expensive. €29.90 for one person to eat is simply too much, other restaurants offer more for less money.

Everything went quickly and was very tasty!

Some orders arrived incorrectly (two dishes were missing meat, the sushi wasn't right) and almost all the dishes were drowned in sauce. The store was far too crowded, therefore very loud and warm and the staff not very friendly. I won't come back again.

Food, atmosphere very good. Service tried hard, I didn't know the idea of ​​ordering via tablet. It works as a replacement for the "Circel" in other sushi restaurants. Individual prices OK. Flat rate price also suitable for infrequent users, a nice thing for experienced enthusiasts.

Authentic ambience, great service and a dynamic ordering system via a mobile device, so that you have short waiting times and can place new orders even while eating, make a visit to Aiko a great experience. Hungry guests are attracted by an intoxicating scent as they pass by. The all-you-can-can-eat with its 2.5-hour window in which you can place 5 orders per person every 10 minutes is highly recommended and will almost certainly ensure satiety and satisfaction :) With the extensive and delicious selection I am sure that there is something for everyone, of course if you love individual dishes you can always order the same things. Even the occasional less cheerful face in the service team didn't detract from the good service and didn't make the visit any less great.

All You Can Eat Sushi Quite tasty.

We wanted to go out for dinner yesterday and spontaneously got a table reserved by phone for 8:30 p.m. The queue in front of the restaurant was 5m long and moving slowly. There was probably vomit in front of the restaurant... And after standing in the cold for 20 minutes, we turned around and left. People in front of us said they also had reservations for 8:35 p.m. There were 3 other couples/groups who had made reservations and were amazed at the queue and then left after 10-15 minutes because there was hardly anything moving. I have no idea what was going on that evening, but I've never experienced that before 😅 from the outside everything seemed packed, so how can you call 7:50 p.m. and confirm a table for 8:30 p.m.? Let's see if we can try it again during the week...

Wir haben vorab zum 16.Geburtstag meiner Tochter einen Tisch für 6 Personen reserviert. Als wir ins Restaurant kamen wurden wir weder begrüßt noch freundlich empfangen. Der lange reservierte Tisch befand sich direkt vor der Kochstation.Am liebsten wären wir gleich wieder rüwärts raus. Diese Hektik direkt vor unserem Tisch... Wir haben uns für Ala carte entschieden und alles auf einem Zettel notiert. Ziemlich zeitnah wurden uns dann ca 25 Schalen mit diversen Gerichten auf den Tisch gestellt...Das frietierte Sushi war sehr fettig und leider kalt,wie auch die Süßkartoffelpommes.Unser empfinden war"seht selbst wer was bestellt hat ". Danach wurden wir für ca 1,5 Stunden ignoriert. Wir mussten erst darum bitten das doch der Tisch mal abgeräumt wird. Das Essen war nichts besonderes. Bereits kurz nach dem verlassen klagten 2 von 6 Leuten über Übelkeit. Als ich bezahlt habe wurde weder gefragt ob es geschmeckt hat bzw wir zufrieden waren. Wir haben den Eindruck das hier nur Masse statt Klasse zählt. Unser Kellner war eine Studentische Aushilfe und konnte 0 Auskunft geben wegen Allergie bzw Unverträglichkeit. Wir werden nicht wieder kommen, so unpersönlich und unfreundlich. Man hat sich absolut nicht willkommen gefühlt 😒

Yesterday we reserved a table for 6 people in advance for our birthday. No friendly hello or anything when you enter. The "birthday table" right next to the stressful chef, neither decorated nor anything else. Since we didn't order Al You can eat, about 30 different dishes came at once. Afterwards we were ignored for about 1.5 hours. With the request to finally call it up so that we can maybe order something else, that was it. The waitress was a student who was only employed as a temporary worker and had absolutely no idea about intolerances or allergies. No "thank you" or "were you satisfied" when paying. No, we weren't. The food was okay, but the ambience, the unfriendly treatment and this ignorance leave us with the impression: We won't be coming back!

My impression....loud, hectic and the food was like that. Beef and lamb are not a big strength. If you like sushi, you've come to the right place.

The ambience is nicely designed, but very cramped. The service doesn't really exist at all-you-can-eat, you come to the table with the food, put it down and are gone. We were there in a group and very often something was missing from the order, which was only delivered at the very end when we were already full. The rice was also really soft, the rollers came apart and were tiny. The noodles were so sore that they were almost mushy, and they were also very greasy. What was very good was the edamame and the desserts like pana cotta and creme brulee.

Very great restaurant and you can hardly keep up with the food if you order the dinner rounds of 10 rounds of 5 portions each.

Mass processing in Asian style, but still with Asian serenity. Every 10 minutes you order 5 portions and this lasts for 2.5 hours (we were pastaed after the 4th round). Here you can find everything an Asian restaurant has to offer, from sushi to mussels and seaweed salad to sesame balls and mango ice cream. You can eat “all you can eat” or “a la carte”. The waiters run like rabbits with the Asian calm, but still professionally. We will be back. Highly recommended

Our first visit in fall 2023 was okay; Kimchi and fried rice in particular tasted good. The repetition in spring 2024 is unfortunately catastrophic. Quick feeding with poor quality. Fish and meat drowned in brownish-sweet sauce, scallops rotten, ice cream far too sweet. The service staff were apparently only able to transport the food, answering questions was impossible, dessert spoons were served with the handle forward and the thumb in the spoon😫. We enjoyed the visit for a longer time because everything about us smelled rancid and oily. Prices are only worthwhile for pain-free gluttons.

I was here today with my daughter, she invited me. All you can eat… reserved for 12 p.m. - 2 hour time. Now we have clicked on the first 10 treats on the tablet and sent them off. The first orders came to the table quickly - great! Everything was super fresh and very tasty. While we were eating we ordered again and it was brought back quickly. Finally there was a variety of ice cream. So I thought it was really great. My daughter often eats here and is always satisfied, I confirm this for my first visit today 💯

I can really recommend it. There is something for everyone, various sushi, delicious meat skewers, fish and delicious sweets for dessert. Everything beautifully prepared. 😋👍

The food tasted great and ordering via tablet is something new here in the region. The only drawback for me was the service. It would be nice if someone explained how ordering via the app works. There are certainly plenty of people who haven't been to a restaurant like this before or, when I think of my parents, who aren't that well versed in technology. In addition, there is virtually no contact with the staff. Ordering via tablet, things are placed on the table and that's it. Sometimes the data transfer doesn't seem to work so well because we didn't get a cocktail we ordered at all and then got it twice. I also find the price quite steep. 30€ all you can eat in the evening, all drinks extra. You have to eat a lot to make it worth it.

The food tastes worse every time :/ Very nice staff

Staff seemed stressed and awkward. Unfortunately, I sat right at the counter where the food was made. And then the point came for us where we had to seriously consider coming back. Some things regarding hygiene should be reconsidered. And the kitchen staff should be better trained on hygiene when preparing food.

But it has nothing to do with Japanese. In Chinese hands? Anyone who has ever been to Japan knows how delicious food can be. Not to mention the friendliness of the employees.

The three of us, from two households, had not seen each other for a long time on February 8th, 2024 at 8 p.m. but unfortunately we all threw up about 1 hour after eating. The rest of the night we all felt unwell, WE ran. So unfortunately I can't recommend the food. Everyone hadn't eaten anything big beforehand, but since we shared everything, something must have been bad. We think it was the fish. So logically I can't recommend it. I don't want to throw up after eating. Service was quick but impersonal, this is not due to the employees but certainly due to the workload and size

Wir waren an einem Freitag Abend, das Restaurant war ausgebucht und dementsprechend laut war es auch. Das Sushi war sehr gut, Fleischgerichte teilweise etwas zäh. Personal war sehr gestresst und brachten somit Unruhe mit sich. Ansonsten haben wir den Abend sehr genossen und kommen gern wieder.

Waren am 24.2.24 hier essen. Völlig überfüllte Gastronomie. Die Bedienung (bitte um Entschuldigung) zogen eine „Fresse“ , ein Danke oder Bitte sind Fremdwörter. Essen wurde auf dem Tisch abgestellt, um nicht hinzuschmeißen zu nennen. Die Geschäftsleitung sollte da mal ernsthaft etwas ändern. Ich glaube nicht, dass so etwas in Japan möglich wäre!!! Fazit: ein Stern ist noch gut

We were there for the "all you can eat buffet", it was wonderful, a huge selection of different dishes, in perfect sizes. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food came incredibly quickly and it was easy to order using a tablet. Top price-performance ratio, even the little ones could eat and they clearly enjoyed it. We're definitely going there again

I called 2 minutes before closing time and ordered 2 miso soups. When I arrived they were already ready. Super hot and well filled. Delicious as always and the staff is incredibly nice. I really enjoy going there

I've been to the restaurant twice now. I think it's great that it's easy to order via tablet or your own smartphone. However, it is not an upscale sushi restaurant. I would describe it more as a fast food restaurant. The ordered dishes are quickly at the table... but not lovingly prepared, everything comes individually, is "peppered" onto the table and some dishes didn't look or taste fresh to us. The table wasn't really clean either - it was sticky and there was even food residue on it. From reception to payment you feel stressed and unwelcome. All in all it's ok if you want quick food.

The restaurant offers a large selection of dishes, from sushi to chicken wings to beef fillet. Orders are placed via tablet and the food is brought to the table after approximately 2 minutes. The individual portions are correspondingly small so that you can easily try your way through the menu with all you can eat.

Uns empfing ein überfülltes und lautes Restaurant, welche nur noch von einer sehr unfreundlichen Bedienung übertroffen wurde. Als Gäste schienen wir nicht willkommen zu sein. In einem sehr barschen Ton wurde die Bestellung aufgenommen und anschließend das Essen mehr auf den Tisch gekracht als serviert. Alle Speisen kamen einzeln und waren teilweise kalt. Die Kellner wirkten überfordert und gehetzt. Dieses Lokal ist nicht zu empfehlen.

The Aiko is a very busy restaurant and it is definitely recommended to make a reservation. The environment is noisy with so many guests, but the food, the very fast service and the great price absolutely make up for it. The dishes are very well prepared and the selection is large. Die Auswahl ist recht gut. Geschmacklich auch okay. Die Qualität vom Fleisch, welches es auf der Karte zu bestellen gibt, ist allerdings ernüchternd und bestand fast nur aus Fett. Alles etwas lieblos.....

Ich war gestern das erste mal im Aiko zum Dinner, ich war richtig begeistert. Das essen war sehr lecker & auch das Konzept mit dem Tablet ist gut umgesetzt. Ich konnte mich richtig schön durchprobieren, da die Portionen auch nicht sehr groß waren. Auch das Eis (Mango & Grüntee) war super lecker! Das einzige was ich bemängeln musste ist das nach manchen runden immer noch kein essen da war, natürlich wurde es frisch zubereitet dennoch waren dann schon die nächsten Sachen da und wir hatten manches doppelt da wir dachten es kommt nicht mehr. Auch beim bestellen einer neuen Limo, wurde uns diese nicht gebracht.

Hier kann man super Buffet Sushi essen gehen und der Service ist auch spitze.

Ich esse asiatische Küche auf der ganzen Welt und war enttäuscht über das Essen hier. Die Rezensionen haben nicht mit den Erwartungen gepasst. Für Chemnitz aber wahrscheinlich kulinarisch. Abends gab es kein Menü mehr, Sushi und Muscheln waren nur gewöhnlich, Sitzplätze oben war es kalt.

Service unhöflich, man hat ein Eindruck nicht vollkommen zu sein. Was essen angeht es schmeckt wie sushi und nichts weiter... das essen ist geschmacklos zubereitet. Da gibt es kein Menü ,man muss das essen selber zusammenstellen:(

Richtig leckeres Essen, cooles Konzept, satt werden garantiert 👍 Leider geht es immer ein wenig chaotisch zu, da vom Personal gefühlt jeder alles macht und dadurch manchmal den Überblick verliert 😉 Durch die vielen Besucher im Restaurant und nicht vorhandenen Abtrennungen in der Gaststätte fanden wir es extrem laut und dadurch teilweise ganz schön nervig ☹️ Einfache Unterhaltung am Tisch war zum Teil eine Herausforderung 🙈 Ansonsten ... wer Appetit auf asiatisches Essen hat, ist hier sicher richtig 👍

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit all you can eat Angebot. Essen sehr lecker, kommen gern wieder. Einzige Minuspunkt ist Parkplatzsituation.

Gutes Essen nur die Küche ist komplett überfordert, wenn das Haus voll ist. Lange Wartezeiten bis das Essen kommt,manchmal auch das falsche Essen.

Meine Freundin und ich kommen sehr oft hier hin. Es ist jedes Mal wieder ein wunderbare Abend und eine schöne Zeit im Aiko. Das Essen ist fantastisch, der Service ist nett und du bekommst immer einen Platz, egal wie voll es ist. Es gibt kein besseres Restaurant im Großraum Chemnitz. Am liebsten würde ich 6 Sterne geben.
