Wonderful restaurant! Delicious food prepared with soul, atmosphere, pleasant attitude of the staff, you want to come again and again, it’s like coming home! And what’s important is that the restaurant is authentic, it was here that I got acquainted with good Greek cuisine, before that I didn’t even know what Greek cuisine and culture was like. I am very glad that I found this wonderful place. Thank you to all the restaurant staff for putting your soul into your work. 🌷

Spontaneously returned to the Achilles by chance due to the positive reviews. We were immediately given a very warm welcome. Another positive thing to mention is that more space was created for our two babies, who were also there. For starters we shared an appetizer platter for two people. The taste was more than convincing. Price/performance is absolutely awesome. The main course with gyros and calamari also impressed us in terms of taste. If you are looking for an authentic Greek restaurant with lots of Greek hospitality, then the Achilles is an absolute recommendation. Here you get something for your money.

Many years ago I ate at Achilles (then under the old owner) where it was really fantastic. Now we wanted to give the Achilles another chance. Unfortunately everything went wrong from start to finish today... Starting with common soft drinks that are no longer in stock, out-of-stock starter salads and complete mismanagement of the actual food ordered. Instead of serving us the starters, we were served the wrong main courses and the owner wanted to argue with us about the rotten salad and deny the obvious grievance... Sorry, even someone who has no idea about cooking in general/ Warenkunde would have immediately noticed that the iceberg lettuce was anything but fresh. There wasn't even a word of apology from him. Furthermore, the interior was not particularly well maintained. We will definitely NOT be coming back again.

A discovery. Exceptionally good Greek. Starting with the starter, we had a starter platter for 2 people, right up to the grill plate. The meat was cooked to perfection. Perfectly seasoned and really tasty! The fries were seasoned with thyme salt, which enhanced the taste. The 2 waiters (one of whom was probably the owner) were very friendly and relaxed! The dessert (a kind of orange cake with vanilla ice cream) was incredibly delicious! A gem in Altenkessel! We'll definitely be back!!!!

I think Achilles is a nice, cozy restaurant with good Greek cuisine. Service was very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and the price was very good. Would definitely come again.

Today we had lunch at Achilles with 8 people. Very tasty food and very nice, attentive staff. The dishes were nicely prepared and the prices were also reasonable. The portions are more than sufficient. The interior design is modern, with typical country elements. The chairs are very comfortable. However, it is rather unsuitable for guests with walking difficulties or limited mobility, as you have to walk several steps to the restaurant and you also have to use a long staircase to get to the toilets. Otherwise everything was great and we would like to come back.

We were invited here this weekend for a birthday party. Great atmosphere, very tasty food, a separate room with enough space. Definitely recommended.

Four of us tried this Greek restaurant last weekend and were overall really happy with the food we received. We really enjoyed all of the dishes served, but overall we would have liked them to be a little spicier and more spicy. The meat was consistently very juicy and cooked well. Compared to other Greek restaurants, the food here is a little cheaper, but still offers a very good portion size. We would like to highlight the owners of the restaurant, who served us in a very friendly and attentive manner and introduced us to Greek hospitality. People often asked whether everything was okay with us. In terms of furnishings, the restaurant offers a really nice and attractive atmosphere in which to linger. We are therefore happy to recommend this restaurant based on our positive overall impression.

Meine Frau und ich haben ein Lokal zum Essen gesucht und nur noch hier einen Tisch bekommen. Das war der Treffer überhaupt. Das Essen war der reinste Gaumenschmaus der Kellner top und sehr freundlich. Hier kommen wir sehr gerne wieder her.

Das Essen wsr sehr gut. Mit dem Service waren wir auch sehr zufrieden. Das Ambiente passt aber leider nicht so richtig. Ich werde aber trotzdem wieder dort essen gehen, weil es wirklich sehr lecker war

Waren gestern mit 9 Personen zum Essen dort. Sehr nette Bedienung, allen hat das Essen super geschmeckt. Kann man echt nur empfehlen. Endlich wieder ein griechisches Restaurant gefunden bei dem alles passt. Weiter so.....heute wieder hier .... Wunderbar gegessen.

Es hat alles einfach köstlich geschmeckt! Dazu super sympathische Gastgeber. Wir haben uns rund um wohl gefühlt.

Wir haben heute am Ostermontag bei Achilles gegessen. Wir hatten eine Vorspeisenplatte und hatte jeder sein individuelles Gericht, alle 8 von uns waren sehr begeistert. Dazu ein sehr freundlicher Service und nettes Ambiente. Preise sind auch in Ordnung. Wir kommen bald wieder 👍

Das Essen war klasse, den Lachs und das Bifteki kann ich nur empfehlen. Das Bifteki war nicht zu Trocken!!👍 Auch als Nachspeise das hausgemachte heiße Baklava mit Eis war sehr lecker. Wenn es uns mal wieder hier in die gegend treibt, kommen wir gerne wieder vorbei. Der Service war sehr gut und hat sich um einen gekümmert. Auf extra Wünsche wurden auch eingegangen.

Waren heute das zweite mal bei Ihnen zu Gast ,Preisleistung und Service super gut.Jeder Zeit weiter zu empfehlen

Wahrscheinlich das leckerste griechische Lokal westlich des Peloponnes. Ein Geburtstagsgeschenk für meine Frau mit der ganzen Familie! Πήγαμε στο εστιατόριο “Achilles” για μεσημεριανό γεύμα μετά από την οικογενειακή μας εξόρμηση από την Στουτγκάρδη στο Saarbrücken. Η τοποθεσία ήταν εύκολη για να πας. Ο χώρος είναι πολύ ωραίος και κοσμημένος με υπέροχη αρχαιοελληνική διακόσμηση. Η εξυπηρέτηση των Ιδιοκτητών και του προσωπικού ήταν άψογη και πολύ φιλική και το κλίμα πολύ όμορφο. Το φαγητό ήταν πεντανόστιμο - πλούσιες γευστικές όλες οι μερίδες που παραγγείλαμε και επίσης μεγάλες και χορταστικές ποσότητες. Περάσαμε υπέροχα χάρη στους Ιδιοκτήτες. Συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα το εστιατόριο για όσους πηγαίνουν προς ή βρίσκονται στην περιοχή του Altenkessel - Saarbrücken. Αξίζει να το επισκεφθείτε. Υ.γ. Οι τιμές είναι πολύ καλές και προσιτές.

Einer der freundlichsten und herzlichsten Inhaber den ich seit langem gesehen habe. Meine Tochter (Leona) hat sich sehr gefreut über ihren Nachtisch. Essen war super. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend.

Sehr schöne Atmosphäre... super liebe Gastgeber..alles sehr familiär und das Essen ist echte griechische Küche.. sehr lecker.. große Portionen und für jeden etwas dabei. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!! Auch war es kein Problem unseren Hund mitzunehmen. Er wurde direkt mit Wasser versorgt . Fazit: tolles Essen , super Atmosphäre und vor allem wundervolle Gastgeber!! Essen gibt's auch zum mitnehmen und demnächst auch Lieferservice❤️
