The owner himself is very kind and generous. The food is decent. Of course the athmosphere isnt the most relaxed in a train station but it is better than expected. When I couldnt finish my food on time for a train, he kindly packed it up for me, even adding a few more chips to my dönerteller.

I ate at AbouHabib's today. The food didn't taste good and there were two hairs in my kebab. I told him so, but he didn't do anything.

Bought some shawarma roll from here it was delicious the sauces and pickles are complimented perfectly. If you are in Hannover this shawarma roll is a one to try for.

I was wandering through Hannover Hauptbahnhof when I stumbled into AbouHabib and was surprised to see that a “döner” place had so much variety. I’m vegetarian myself and got offered a Falafel-bowl and it was delicious. For less then 10€ a big bowl full of different varieties of cabbage, salad, Vegetables and of-curse falafel this was a steal saved me from low quality and and expensive food that you will be offered at most other restaurants here. Highly recommend this place, super nice staff and the area has amazing air flow which leads to a nice and relaxed dining experience.

The falafel plate was way too expensive at €10, the plate was served without fries, so basically iceberg lettuce with 6 mini falafel slices...we then had a halloumi roll that was full of mint and therefore not edible if you don't love mint. Never again…

I bought a kebab box there. The fries and sauce were good, but the meat was really disgusting. It was very greasy (the meat was floating in orange liquid at the bottom of the box), and some pieces of meat were either rubbery or had been on the grill for so long that they tasted crispy and burnt. The restaurant has catastrophic hygiene standards. Employees handle food with their bare hands without wearing gloves, and at the same time exchange money without washing their hands. There are no apparent hygiene measures and cleanliness in the kitchen seems to be completely neglected. Such conditions are not only unsanitary but also a health concern as they increase the risk of food contamination and infections.
