Left again after 20 minutes...without being able to order anything...few staff, busy...a shame

The ABACCO’S Steakhouse in Heilbronn is a real paradise for meat lovers! The highest quality is very important here - juicy, perfectly grilled steaks that can be cooked directly at the table on the hot stone. The atmosphere is stylish and cozy, the staff attentive and friendly. The large selection of excellent meats and side dishes is particularly impressive. An absolute must for anyone looking for a first class steak experience!

Very tasty steaks and you can order fries as often as you want. There was also a children's portion for my little sister. The service was very nice and quick and immediately brought my father, who wanted his steak a little more done, a new hot plate. The ambience was also very pleasant and cozy, yet elegant.

Although all tables are free and unoccupied, you are only allowed to sit at the assigned table. Result: I'm leaving again and not sitting at a table in this restaurant. Congratulations on this “top service”.

The steaks are really amazing! Very tasty food and good ambience, but expect to pay 60-70 euros pp. But it's definitely worth the money. The waitress we had had no desire and it took a long time when we wanted something. But everyone else in service was very friendly, quick and courteous. Definitely coming back!

The quality of the steaks is 1A+++. We were a group of 6 colleagues at lunchtime. We were pretty much the first ones in Abaccos. However, it took almost 15 minutes until the Wrvice worker came and brought us the lunch menu, which said much less than the lunch menu on the internet. The drinks were also missing. We asked if there was more, we had actually all already thought about what we wanted to eat. Colleague 1 ordered a 300g US Prime sirloin steak, unfortunately only the Argentinian one could be ordered and only either 200 or 400g. Colleague 2 ordered a US prime rump steak, which wasn't available, and only the Argentinian version could be ordered. I also ordered the Argentinian sirloin steak, 400gr. The other two are the 200gr version. Sweet potato fries were also not available as a side dish. The 400g Argentinian sirloin steak turned out to be... 2x 200gr pieces. This isn't a problem in itself, but it could have been communicated because we were charged the evening menu prices because we asked for more choice. The lunch menu is a lot cheaper. Unfortunately, the 400g rump steak had a very large portion of tendon, so the colleague couldn't eat around 100g. As already mentioned, the taste and quality of the meat are very good. The fries and grilled vegetables as well. Service: 15 minutes if there's nothing going on doesn't have to be. The service person came across as slightly arrogant, and she didn't seem to have much interest in her work either. When I asked the colleague with the rump steak whether everything was OK, he mentioned the really large part of the tendon, and the answer he received was, "That's just the way it is with a rump steak." When paying with a card, the waitress stood close behind me and I wasn't sure whether she was watching me type in the PIN. I found that unpleasant. I have been to the Korntal-Münchingen branch many times and unfortunately I have to say that both the service and the selection of products are much better. It's a shame Abaccos Heilbronn. You can learn a lot from that...

I was with you today with my family because it was my brother's birthday. The food is really so good that you won't want to stop eating. The service was outstanding. The waiter was so attentive, humorous…you immediately felt at home. You must never give this man away! I can really recommend Abacco’s Steak Haus to everyone!!

Tipping options START at a minimum of 10% (10%, 15%, 20%, other amount). Bad impression. Tipping should be voluntary and vary between 5-10%. The food was mediocre at best, the fries weren't good...

Unfortunately, contrary to my usual reviews on Google, I have to abandon my intention of only writing good reviews. However, the ABACCO'S Heilbronn team put in a lot of effort for this evaluation. Unfortunately, there were no good signs during the reservation process. After I had to correct my reservation three times over the phone, in addition to the incorrect number of people and the incorrect date, this chaotic impression was unfortunately confirmed during our visit. We had chosen ABACCO'S for our Christmas dinner with friends and were registered with 18 people, but as noted above it took several attempts to secure the reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant on the day of our reservation, our table had not yet been set up and was still occupied by previous guests 15 minutes after the actual reservation. Afterwards, cutlery was no longer set for everyone. When we ordered our first drink, you could immediately feel the good mood and politeness of the waitress, who didn't give us a tired smile when taking or serving our orders, let alone say "you're welcome." After we had our drinks put on the table and were allowed to place our food order, to the chagrin of the service staff, the grilled vegetables as a side dish for the steaks were already sold out. So Coleslaw was ordered alongside the standard house fries. When the food came to the table, instead of house fries, my wife had sweet potato fries and the aforementioned coleslaw on her plate. When we pointed out to the waitress that a mistake had probably been made, we were told that the house fries had already run out and that sweet potato fries would now be served as standard with the food. Apart from the fact that this could definitely have been mentioned when serving to avoid misunderstandings, I find it an absolute disgrace that a concept like ABACCO's is advertising it, namely free side dishes as many as you want (after a one-off payment of these, apart from the house fries), at 7:30 p.m. he can no longer serve his standard side dish and then simply decides that from now on they will serve sweet potato fries without saying a word to the guests direct. But be that as it may, after my wife didn't get either the grilled vegetables or the house fries, she wanted to order another portion of coleslaw after the first portion and lo and behold, coleslaw was already sold out shortly before 8 p.m., and she apologized again for that not. When we had finished our meal and wanted to order another round of drinks, we were informed after a long wait that the London Mule was no longer available. My wife tried again at a later hour with a dessert, which was not declared "off" but has not been served to this day. In the end, we still had the remaining hope that due to the very manageable service and not entirely optimal evening, there would be a small concession from the restaurant or even just a "sorry", but nothing there, no liquor on the house, no credit out-of-stock "free refill side dishes" and no "sorry, we're sorry", instead a hefty bill and unfortunately a very poor evening in the steakhouse, which in terms of service is unparalleled in my restaurant visits. I hope that the team, if the reviews are read and evaluated here, will take them to heart so that other guests are spared from feeling as out of place as we unfortunately had to.

Absolute highlight in Heilbronn The service was really nice, the atmosphere was really nice and the steaks were a dream 🤩😍

I have often and happily been your guest, but on my last visit the service was simply not there. The restaurant was almost empty. Guests sat at 6 tables. The waiter was overwhelmed with an order of 4 main courses and had to make several corrections. When the steak came to the table, the side dishes still had to be swapped. When I wanted to order a new hot stone to finish preparing my steak, the staff was so engrossed in conversation that they didn't pay any attention to the guests. After about 5 minutes, an employee noticed that someone was needed at the table. I don't know it at all and I'm actually used to the staff being very attentive and coming to the table several times.

I was there again with my nephew, he is really enthusiastic about the food from the hot stone, I am less so, the quality from a chef who completely finishes a steak is usually better, but otherwise everything was fine

WOW, that probably sums it up best. The quality of the food was very good, but what was crucial to a phenomenal stay - which is unfortunately very rare these days - was excellent service and extremely attentive staff. Many thanks to Oktay for the 5*++ service. Would love to come back.

Let's put it this way: Of course, you can always follow the herd of mutton and if everyone thinks everything is really great, follow this view. ABACCO's Steakhouse represents a lot of hype, but we can't understand it. The simple fact is that we have eaten better for much cheaper. The service staff is without a doubt extremely friendly, attentive and courteous. The ambience with communal New Year's Eve raclette-like roasting of meat on hot stones at the table is without a doubt a very sociable, rustic idea. However, it has to be said that the prices for the food on offer, i.e. steaks and side dishes, are excessive, very borderline. The price of 175€ that we had to pay for the shared meal including 1 drink per person out of 4 people is simply outrageous, to put it bluntly. You can only see this as inexpensive or appropriate if you are one of the more well-heeled guests - as the saying goes, you don't treat yourself to anything else. For such a price I expect more quality and quantity of food and, above all, fully prepared and served meals with a more extensive and better quality menu. Of course you can give the whole thing a supposedly positive touch under the cloak - everyone can now determine the cooking point whether English, medium or based on their own steak - but in fact the kitchen makes it quite easy because they only fry the meat and do the rest of the work left to the guests, who then please find this process to be a great experience. Sorry, but we can't follow the hype, we don't want to gloss over our gastronomic experience so that we stay in vogue and we simply find it completely over-the-top with completely exorbitant prices. Sorry. It may be that 99% of the guests think it's great there, but unfortunately that's not our thing. The icing on the cake is the disabled toilet, which also seems to be a changing room for the staff. Shoes and clothes spill out of an open wardrobe. The toilet paper lies partially unrolled on the floor, the toilet bowl hangs far too low for a disabled toilet, and there are actually not enough secure holding devices. In an assessment I would write that they always make an effort, i.e. the disabled toilet actually doesn't deserve this name and the staff's clothing and shoes simply have no place there, which raises questions about compliance with hygiene regulations. We ate there for the sake of our daughter, who raves about ABACCO's, and we won't go there again, so ABACCO's doesn't need to be afraid. In our opinion, the price-performance ratio is simply not right and, despite all the hype, it cannot be glossed over. The only bright spot is the very friendly and service-oriented staff. But otherwise? No, as I said, the price-performance ratio is simply not right. You should urgently think about the excessive pricing there. Sorry.. Nevertheless, Merry Christmas to the staff & a Happy New Year.

When we feel like steak, we like to go to Abacco's. The service is A1! The food was excellent and the potato gratin was a dream! Prices absolutely reasonable.

I like being here, but unfortunately you can tell that the service is decreasing. I was here with my team for Christmas dinner on Sunday. At the beginning the service was attentive, asked questions on point, but it got worse and worse. At some point we were no longer asked to be served and had to keep calling and asking. And someone else always came, which of course served to ensure that there were no tips. None of the service staff was at all interested in us, even though someone was constantly walking past our table because we were sitting quite close to the kitchen and counter.

The food was excellent, and the waiter Mr. Hermanns made the evening perfect with his warm manner and attentiveness.

We have been here 4 times and we will come again. Freshness should stay somewhere on their Logo. Some Servers are better than others, but that won’t keep us from coming. We love the salads, sweet potato fries. And you will be surprised to see that their desserts are amazing too. Exceptional every time.

We always enjoy going to Abacco restaurants and especially enjoy being in Heilbronn with a view of the Neckar. The meat and side dishes are to die for. Not cheap but just the right thing to treat yourself to every now and then. A special compliment to Oktay. A waiter as you would expect. Highly professional and very friendly. He loves what he does and you can feel it.

One of the best experiences in Heilbronn! After having an extremely bad experience at another restaurant, we spontaneously looked for an alternative. I called this restaurant and was informed by a friendly waitress that the kitchen was still open. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and immediately shown to a table. Even though the kitchen was only open for 30 minutes, we were told not to stress. The time between arriving, ordering and being served the drinks and food was pleasantly short, and yet we never felt rushed. The waiter was very friendly throughout and brought us delicious food. What's particularly great is the ability to reorder as many side dishes as you want at no extra charge. The meat had an excellent taste and could be seared on the hot stones as desired. The service was outstanding. We were regularly asked whether we would like any additional side dishes and whether we liked the food. After the main course we were even offered a dessert, even though the kitchen was actually closed. Shortly before the coffee machine was cleaned, we were also asked if we would like another coffee. It was a nice feeling to be recognized and valued as a guest. The ambience of the restaurant is very appealing and I can highly recommend it. The taste of the food was great, although I personally would have preferred the fries to be a little crispier - but that's ultimately a matter of taste.

Incredibly delicious food that is really worth the price. Supplements are only paid for once, but can be reordered as often as needed. The service staff is also very, very friendly, responds to guests' questions and requests and pays great attention to cleanliness and punctual service. Very high quality steaks and a good selection of side dishes. Unfortunately, the constantly empty or defective salt and pepper mills spoil my good mood and the experience of roasting on the stone. If something like this happens, it can still be forgiven, despite the exclusive prices, but disappointingly we haven't had a visit in the last 2 years where this wasn't the case. Even after complaining and replacing the mills, they don't work either. Given the restaurant's pricing, it should really be possible to get new mills if the material is bad or used up. I would also like a “normal” herb butter without the extreme addition of garlic. If these two points were regulated, everything would be perfect in my opinion.

Simply mega, you can't really say anything more about it. The meat was really indescribable (US Prime Tenderloin Filet). I haven't had such good quality as here in a long time. I was really more than positively surprised that you can continue frying the meat as you wish.

A little more expensive but fun - you make your own steak

We ate there for the second time today. Unfortunately, the first time we were very disappointed with the meat. Today we just wanted to have a quick salad. We had to wait a long time and incorrect orders were brought. Same at the next tables. Unfortunately, no cutlery was brought without request. Only the Caesar salad was great. Unfortunately it was the last time we ate there. Unfortunately it's not right for the price.

Unfortunately, the trend is downwards! Meat quality has become significantly worse. The rest of the food consists of average convenience products. Price-performance is very questionable.

I am very satisfied all around. The food was a poem. The waitresses were very accommodating. Every question, be it about meat or espresso, was answered. The espresso was also really tasty. I can only recommend this steakhouse. Really worth it.

Prices too high for this quality; For a 300 gram Argentinian beef fillet for around 60 euros (which is described as tender as butter) I expect top quality. Unfortunately, that's not the case, the meat is quite "riddled". The side dishes are also so-so-so.

Leckeres Fleisch, toller Service. Die Idee, das Fleisch selber zu braten fand ich echt cool, wobei so eine Fleischqualität kann man heute selten finden. Die Beilagen waren immer warm und wir wurden häufig gefragt ob wir etwas nachbestellen wollen. Gerne wieder.

Dando un paseo por Heillbronn a la orilla del río Neckarte vas a encontrarte con un ade las doce filiales de Abacco's Steakhouse que hay por toda Alemania. El local tiene una decoración muy industrial y una gran terraza para que casi media ciudad de Heillbronn pueda comer allí. La cena tuvo lugar un martes por la noche y me sorprendió la cantidad de personas que había en su interior. Alrededor de medio local estaría lleno pese a ser las 20:30 de un día laborable en el que el agua caía a cántaros y hacía una tarde para nada apacible ⛈☂🌂. No hace falta comentarlo, pero el restaurante no es que esté especializado en carne, es que no hay otra alternativa en toda la carta. Hay terneras con diferentes orígenes (USA, Uruguay y Argentina) y cerdo ibérico (España). La sección de entrantes es amplia también, pero pensamos que una carne (200 g) y la guarnición sería suficiente para cenar. 🟢 200 g Argentinisches Huftsteak 🐮: 200 g de solomillo de ternera muy tierno que tú mismo terminas en la mesa. La carne viene en un trozo grande y el comensal es quién se encarga de darle el punto deseado cocinándola a la piedra. La guarnición elegida fueron patatas fritas, patatín cocido y verdura a la plancha. Muy ricas también. La comida salió a 35 € cada uno, con una cerveza bastante bien tirada.

Insane, super tasty and just always a real treat. If you want good meat, this is the right place. The meat comes to the table almost raw and then you have to grill it yourself on the hot stone. This concept is great for all people who value the cooking point of the meat. The accompanying wines are also great and are well chilled, decanted in front of the guest and poured into a carafe. In anbetracht der doch etwas höheren Preise hätte ich mehr erwartet. Das Lokal wirbt mit bestem Steakhouse 22/23.. das 24 wird aus meiner Sicht nicht dazu kommen. Die Qualität der Gerichte entsprach nicht dem versprochenen, der Service zwar freundlich aber total chaotisch und die Wartezeiten nicht akzeptabel. Die Performance in allem weit von unseren Erwartungen. Schade für so einen tollen Spot..

The hotel (H I Express) made us aware of Abacco when we asked for a very good place to eat. I think the rating speaks for itself. If only the distance between my home in Schaumburg and Heilbronn wasn't so long...! Thank you for the perfect “feel-good package”!
