Having driven past it many times, we decided on Mother's Day to actually stop by the Aartal. Understandably, you can't make a reservation here on a public holiday, so we spontaneously drove by and got a nice spot outside. There are coffee specialties and freshly baked cakes to choose from. You can also choose from many soft drinks and wines. The coffee we ordered was excellent and the various cakes were all very tasty. The ambience was great as we were able to sit outside in excellent weather. I believe there is also a roof terrace available. Overall, we really liked the Aartal. Particularly recommended as a destination for a bike tour. Also for children, because there is a playground outside within sight of the outdoor dining area. Unfortunately, breakfast or warm meals are not offered. We'll definitely come back again because we really enjoyed it in the Aartal!

Very nice restaurant to eat coffee and cake. Unfortunately there is no longer any restaurant service and opening times are severely limited. Easy to reach by bike, nice outdoor terrace with a small children's playground.

Very tasty cake. We were actually attracted by the photos of the delicious looking dishes from the other reviews. But unfortunately the kitchen is permanently closed and there are no more hot dishes. Very unfortunate.

Nice coffee. Were there today on May 1st. Very tasty cakes and large pieces for a reasonable price. We paid €13.80 for half a liter of beer, a cappuccino and a large piece of cake. In my opinion, that's not too much and at least appropriate for the quality. Top!

Pastry art of outstanding quality. The cakes are a delight, also vegan. The ambience inside and outside is very appealing. A little oasis to relax. The staff is very attentive and friendly. There is nothing to complain about.

Totally beautiful café in a rolling landscape. Here you can get really good coffee from the portafilter machine and always delicious, freshly baked cakes. There is also a vegan selection. I was even given an iced coffee shake upon request, the service is simply top!

We have been to Café Aartal a few times now and have always been thrilled by the delicious coffee and (even tastier) cake. In the summer on the terrace and at cooler times inside it is extremely pleasant. The cakes taste just as you would hope: simply delicious! The recipe must always say something like “... and now add a good portion of Libe into the dough”. We think it's a shame that you can't order the cake you want at the front of the counter, but can only do so at the table. It may be that this is necessary due to the cash register system in order to be able to allocate the costs to a specific table. We still find it impractical. We think it would be nice if there were a few smaller tables inside. Enough of the “bitching”! If you want to spend a delicious afternoon in a great café: head to the Aartal!

We just wanted to pass the time for a short time today and could have stayed much longer. The cake and drinks were super tasty, high quality and homemade. There was a great playground outside, unfortunately the weather wasn't great. Our kids were able to use the large play area inside. There was a lot to discover, from a children's kitchen to a painting corner and a costume box.

It's a beautiful place. Very quiet and intimate. The service is exceptional. I liked that they have an area for children with toys so they can have fun while their parents eat at the place. The desserts are exquisite.

I had coffee at this lovely café on a beautiful sunny afternoon. A huge selection of traditional German cakes and other food. The cheesecake I had was delicious and the cappuccino was great. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Toller Biergarten, modernes Ambiente, sehr gute Qualität bei den Lebensmitteln aus denen die Speisen zubereitet werden. Moderate Preise, die sich jeder noch leisten kann. Man wird herzlich empfangen und bedient. Tolles Team.

Das Essen schmeckt wirklich sehr gut. Schönes Ambiente, man kann gemütlich draußen sitzen und die Mitarbeiter sind auch sehr freundlich. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert und ich komme gerne auch wieder.

Sehr guter, mit viel Sorgfalt bereiteter Zwiebel - Senfbraten, auch die vegetarischen Gerichte sind Klasse. Schönes Ambiente drinnen und draußen, nettes Personal, eine klare Empfehlung!

Außerordentlich engagiertes Serviceteam! Tolles Ambiente, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet/dekoriert. Essen ist überwiegend sehr lecker, aber da ist noch etwas "Luft nach oben".

War heute nach einer kleinen Radtour Gast auf der wunderschönen Außenterrasse. Ambiente und Service sind wirklich spitze, besser geht es nicht. Habe anschließend noch einen Blick auf die Räumlichkeiten innen geworfen, wirklich geschmackvoll mit Liebe eingerichtet. TOP Adresse!!!

Ich war zu Pfingsten mit meinen Kindern und meinen Eltern hier - die Inneneinrichtung ist super-geschmackvoll geworden, das Essen sehr gut und der Service sehr aufmerksam und sympathisch. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und kann das Café nur empfehlen.

Top Service und Leckeres Essen(sowohl der Kuchen als auch die Warmen Speisen) Wir waren schon einige male dort und wurden nicht ein einziges mal enttäuscht. Das Ambiente läd zum Wohlfühlen ein.

Anlässlich unserer Radtour sind wir gestern erstmalig zu Kaffee und Kuchen ins Café Aartal eingekehrt und hatten das Glück sofort einen Innentisch für 4 Personen zu ergattern. Atmosphärisch finden wir diese Lokalität sehr ansprechend. Die Servicekraefte sind freundlich und aufmersam. Kaffee samt Kaesekuchen haben uns vorzüglich geschmeckt. Ich finde es sehr schön, dass bei der Planung des Außengeländes nicht nur an die erwachsenen Gäste sondern auch an Kinder gedacht wurde. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein perfekter Tagesabschluss! Nachdem wir schon von Kaffee und Kuchen begeistert waren, sind wir es nun auch vom Abendessen. Eine kleine besondere Auswahl an Speisen und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Dazu eine schöne Wein- und Getränkekarte. Die liebe zum Detail ist im gesamten Lokal sowie im Service erkennbar. Absolute Empfehlung für einen schönen Abend.

Ich freue mich auf den Sommer, dann kann der Garten auch genutzt werden.👍
