Die besten Restaurants mit Portugiesisches restaurant Essen in Nordrhein-Westfalen

We recently stayed here with a group of six people. Our table was hidden in a niche, which unfortunately meant we were out of sight of the waitress. Only after asking twice were we served the second round of drinks, which was a bit disappointing and annoying. Overall, the food was good and we enjoyed it, but one out of 6 meals was forgotten and it took longer than 1.5 hours for everything to be served. The first drink was also lukewarm and non-carbonated, which was also a shame. Overall, we all felt that the service was not satisfactory. There were several small discrepancies that marred the stay somewhat. It's a shame, because the food and the atmosphere could be much better if the service was appropriate - because the billing is 100%.

Addition: I was there again today, unfortunately the meal took an incredibly long time (at least 3/4 hour), requests for another drink were ignored (twice) and the waiter with the curly hair unfortunately seemed unfriendly and somehow not well-groomed. The food still tastes good, but it's no longer as lavish and good as it used to be, but now my eyes and my mind eat too. Especially since my companion had exactly four tiny mussels in the dish, even though it was designated as a dish with mussels. I will avoid the restaurant in the future. For the price I get better quality ambience, service and unfortunately also food. Old post: I have known the shop since my childhood, my grandfather (unfortunately deceased) was a good acquaintance of the senior manager and therefore you might think that I am a bit biased. However, that's not the case, because now I return to Vasco da Gama every now and then when I'm in Cologne and I don't just feel like I've been transported back to my childhood, I feel like I'm in Portugal. Families, some with many children, speak lively and lovingly to each other, and the Portuguese language is lived and heard. The food is always perfect (!) and so far nothing has ever disappointed me. Anyone looking for authentic food is welcome here. It's not far to the Portuguese bakery (opposite) and other delicacies from Portugal await you there. I have never been able to eat Portuguese as well as I did here in Cologne and hopefully it will stay that way for a long time. Admittedly, the ambience is rustic and old-fashioned, but that perhaps makes up for it a little - it indicates the durability :)

An incredible restaurant worthy of a movie set...the late-night storm is well-recreated. Delicious dishes and attentive staff...a special mention to Ali, a smiling and very friendly waiter...looking forward to coming back.

My favorite Portuguese restaurant. Very good cuisine, real port beers and wines and very good service. Everything fine!

The restaurant may be very simple, but the prawns are sensationally tasty, and all the other dishes look tasty too. Top price-performance ratio for food and drinks.

I have ordered here several times and always enjoy it. The prawns are very tasty in different variations. The sardines with rosemary potatoes are also highly recommended. I'm already looking forward to the next order, keep it up 😊👍👍

My impression from the restaurant, we booked a table on April 29th (6 p.m.) we (were there at 5:50 p.m.) decided on a table inside, the outside area was empty at the time, cards were placed on the table, so far everything was ok, another group (3 people) also found a place inside, the area outside filled up and was served with cards and drinks, the table for 3 There were already drinks on the table, we decided to go at 6:20 p.m., it's a shame I was looking forward to eating (birthday) but they didn't want our money. After conversations with friends, it became apparent that this was not an isolated case.

Super delicious food, friendly staff and a very cozy atmosphere :)

Das Essen ist absolut überteuert. Ich und meine Partnerin hatten in unserem Essen fremde Haare, als wir den südländischen Kellner angesprochen haben wurde uns gesagt wir sollen uns doch nicht so anstellen, das könnte mal Passieren. Sowas darf bei diesem Preis nicht passieren. Bei Carlos ist außerdem ein Mäuse und Ratten Problem, in den Räumen lief eine Maus an der Wand entlang. Es ist auch verständlich das diese ins Gebäude gelangen wenn die Türen auf dem Parkplatz andauernd weit geöffnet sind , da ist es verständlich das Mäuse und Ratten vom Essen eingeladen werden. Gehe dort nie wieder hin

Leider seit gestern geschlossen, war immer sehr lecker
