Great evening of cooking with a charismatic chef.

We celebrated our daughter's wedding in the Schützenhaus. It was excellent all around, the reception was lovingly prepared, the buffet was rich and great, the service was very attentive and very friendly. The space with the terrace was ideal for our celebration. We can only recommend it without reservation.

Short spoiler: This was our first, but not the last, time in Taormina :) My wife and I recently ate at Taormina for the first time and we were immediately impressed by the excellent ambience and the warm welcome. The restaurant was already busy on this Friday evening, which is why we were happy to have made a reservation by phone in advance. At the same time, we were accompanied to our table by the friendly staff and didn't have to wait long for the menus. We order a glass of Prosecco in advance and the waiter presented us with the daily menu. From here we had the porcini mushroom soup and the burrata on tomato tartare as starters. My wife is a vegetarian and was very pleased with the plentiful selection of vegetarian dishes. We enjoyed both excellently. Our waiter recommended us to drink the Buonora Etna from Sicily, which is made 100% from Carricante. A perfect companion for a spring evening. Mineral, fruity and acidic enough not to be lost next to aromatic dishes such as porcini mushroom soup. For the main course, my wife had the fresh tagliatelle with truffle, parmesan and burrata and I had the tagliatelle with seafood. The pasta was really al dente and the sauce was mixed into a fine cream. Both were a poem and portioned in exactly such a way that we were able to fill the last space in our spoiled stomachs with a delicious panna cotta. Although the dessert is actually not for the stomach, but for the ❤️. When asked, the bill was brought to us quickly and we were greeted just as friendly as we were received. The bar was set really high that evening and we are really looking forward to the next visit :) Thank you, dear team Taormina

A beer garden? No, much more. Behind the first tables there is a play area for children, but it is not disturbing. The whole course is a mini golf course that can be used spontaneously if necessary. In addition to the friendly service, the shop also scores points for its delicious food that is simple but individual and simply tastes delicious.

The parking lot is quite ok, but in general it smacks of dirt, as in Germany. There is nothing like Polish stations and parking lots.

Were back today after a long time! Food was cold and sat on the counter for a long time. Tables and floor very dirty! Very loud and screaming children. Sorry, I have absolutely nothing against children!

Disappointing visit with poor hygiene and risky handling of allergies We went to McDonald’s last night and unfortunately the visit was anything but satisfactory. The toilets were in a shockingly unsanitary condition. It wasn't any better in the dining room either: dirt on the floor at the checkout, dirty tables and benches - cleanliness doesn't seem to be an issue here. But the worst thing: we had to wait a whole 20 minutes for 4 simple standard burgers. Two of them should specifically be without cucumbers. When handing it over, the employee noticed that the burgers still contained cucumbers. The bag was then simply put back in the back - where the cucumbers were quickly removed and the burgers were repackaged. No fresh preparation, no notice, no apology. I'm a mild allergy sufferer and accepted it with gritted teeth - something like this could be life-threatening for others. Dealing with food and customer safety this way is absolutely unacceptable.

Sick immediately after eating – absolutely unacceptable I ordered from McDonald’s and less than an hour later I had severe stomach pain and diarrhea. Thank you very much too – this is certainly not exactly how you imagine a meal to be. When I go out or order food, I expect the food to be fresh and safe. Instead, I got a free upset stomach. It's really sad that with such a big chain you can't even be sure that you're getting halfway decent food. Maybe we should pay more attention to hygiene and quality than to new commercials.
