Restaurant Dalmatia really surprised us in a positive way! Instead of the original 48 euros, we only had to pay 40 euros and even got a drink on the house - a really nice gesture that made the evening even more enjoyable. The boss was very friendly and accommodating, which made us feel very welcome. The food? A solid 10 out of 10! Fresh, tasty and typically Dalmatian – exactly what we were hoping for. If you're looking for a cozy restaurant with great food and great service, this is the place for you. Absolutely recommended!

The food is great, everything is fresh and tastes really great. The owners are very friendly and put in a lot of effort. I regret that the two of them don't have a "real" restaurant, but rather this restaurant with the character of a snack bar where you don't really want to sit. You could easily outdo the competition here in terms of quality and taste with a real restaurant. Price/performance is also right. But great for picking up!

We had dinner on Boxing Day evening. There was a very varied and delicious buffet with many different starters, main courses and desserts. My entire family was thrilled. The two young ladies who served us were also very friendly and did a great job. Thank you for the lovely evening! My parents have eaten in Santorini several times and have always been very satisfied. We'll be back!

Today we ordered our food right when it opened at 5:30 p.m. sharp and we were told on the phone that we could pick it up in half an hour. We were there at 6 p.m. and then had to wait another 40 minutes for our food. Unfortunately, other guests felt the same way as us today and at some point they simply left without their food. When the food was finally handed to us after repeated requests, we paid the full price and didn't even receive an apology for the long wait there. In addition, the sweet and sour sauce was forgotten but accounted for, the fries were not salted and I almost doubt that they were “fried” noodles, they were simply warmed up quickly in the pan. For us it was the last time we would order food there.

Basically everything was fine. But unfortunately we had 2 dishes where the meat was very pink or still raw.

Edit: Important! This review refers to before the new owner took over. Below is the old version, directly after this sentence is the new version. I can only agree with many previous speakers. Was there again after taking over and the pita didn't taste good at all, the fries were only halfway edible. Unfortunately, that was it for me. We were there with 4 people on Easter Sunday evening. 3x gyros pita and 4x fries. Everything was done to the point. We all enjoyed it, the best pita and fries I've had in a long time. I can't understand the criticism here that the prices are overpriced. Inflation can be felt everywhere, including in the snack bar, and for such quality I would happily come back and pay a little more. A pita, white fries and a drink cost me just under €15 and I went home full.

It was my first time there and I wasn't disappointed. The staff was very accommodating. Our food was cooked to perfection; the fries on the side were exceptional. All in all nice and hot. If I'm in the area again, I'll come back.
