It's not the best pizza, but it's definitely solid. So, considering the value for money at lunchtime, you can't really complain. However, I wouldn't eat there at the regular evening prices. The place is too crowded for that.
This place is absolutely incredible and was a staple for us. The owner is so friendly, and his fresh falafels are second to none. He fries them up when you order, and his portions are so generous one wrap would last me at least 2 meals. There are many things I miss about our time in Berlin, and this is undoubtedly one of the top ones.
It was delicious, clean, and the staff were very prompt and friendly. They only accept cash, so bring cash with you 😉 The tzatziki sauce and salad are flavors I'd love to come back for.
During my stay in Berlin, I had to choose Italian cuisine at least once a day at the request of my three-year-old daughter, who can't go to sleep without a big plate of pasta. Well, I have reason to believe that La Lupa is the only true Italian restaurant in Berlin. Top-quality ingredients cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is informal, the service is good. Closing my eyes, it felt like I was in a Trastevere osteria.
One of the best köfte I've ever had. Everything was perfectly composed. The price is perfectly proportionate to the quality. The guys know what they're doing, I recommend it!
We ordered takeaway food. Our order was taken and prepared quickly, but then we waited a long time in the hatch where the finished food was being served. Finally, I asked if my order (which I had already paid for) could be taken, stating what was in it, but still had to wait until the overworked waitress had time. We ordered a starter that tasted OK (no. 6). Both main courses were disappointing, as they were pretty tasteless (70c and far too sweet 90). I have traveled to Vietnam and have eaten regularly in various Vietnamese restaurants for years, primarily in Berlin and Stockholm. I had no idea that Vietnamese food could be so boring.
First things first. The burger was perfectly fine. The meat was cooked to a tender pink, and the rest of the packaging was also fine (I had the Bundesburger or whatever it was called).
Service was more or less enthusiastic, but we are in Berlin after all.
There's no proper cutlery either - sure, it's a burger joint, but I think they want more than that here? Wooden cutlery just doesn't work.
These days, however, it's incomprehensible to me that you can't pay by card. What's the problem? That they make the sales transparent? It can't really be the fees, since they're very low these days, and the burgers aren't exactly a bargain. For me, that's definitely a reason not to come back.
We've been eating here regularly for well over 10 years. Every time, we're thrilled with the service, the food, and, of course, the drinks. Excellent quality everywhere you look. The value for money is beyond reproach. The atmosphere inside isn't "fresh" or "modern," but it is warm and cozy.
The food was delicious, the pizza well-topped and with a crispy base, neither too thin nor too watery. The service was friendly and attentive, and I followed it with a Sambuca. Half a pizza had the wrong toppings, but they made a real effort to change it. But who orders a pizza with half spinach and half vegetarian?
