I should mention that I only write reviews when something is really good or really bad. So here's my opinion on this restaurant. Yesterday, my family (15 people) went to Ofenplattn. Even though we were so many, the food arrived all at once. The quality was excellent, and everyone enjoyed it. The steak, which I like rare, was cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. I also haven't had such a good baked potato with it in a long time. Normally, I always have to order extra sour cream, but that wasn't the case here. It was truly fantastic. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is attentive without being intrusive. You feel comfortable, almost like being at home. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. We'll definitely be going there more often. I can also recommend it for business dinners or Christmas parties. Just be aware that it's a small restaurant.

The place is an easy walk in, but sadly they don’t offer a lot of vegan dishes.

We had four lunches. From steak to duck to chanterelle mushrooms, all the main courses were beautifully prepared and presented. The desserts surprised us with their beautiful combinations. The wine recommendations complemented the meal perfectly. The children's special requests were all perfectly accommodated. The service was also impressive with its attentive manner. We would gladly return.

I made a quick stop and grabbed a bite to eat to take back to the hotel. The food was excellent, the staff were great and in good spirits, and the place itself was great. I'll be back.

We stopped by on short notice and only had a light meal. The staff is very friendly and the children were given something to color. 😊 The food is very good.

Anyone visiting the Steirer restaurant in Dachau can expect thoughtfully prepared and lovingly presented dishes, paired with the perfect wine. It's a reminder that cooking can be a creative art, as the ingredients are precisely selected and harmoniously combined. A restaurant like this is a pleasure to return to; it's one that must be preserved.

--December 20, 2023-- Unfortunately, the elderly couple has decided to close down at the end of this year. Such a unique, fine Japanese restaurant is sadly no longer to be found in Munich 😞 They deserve a retirement after so many years of hard work 💓💓 I'll be back! If you're still visiting Cmapanula, be sure to reserve a table in advance! They're still open between December 27-30, 2023, so take advantage of this last chance! Very delicious and authentic Japanese food, just like at home :) The interior is very cute, and the wall decorations change with the seasons, so sweet! The menu is simple with relatively limited selection, but everything is freshly prepared and tastes fantastic! By far the best okonomiyaki in Munich ☺️☺️ Sometimes there are special offers on the menu, which also taste very good. For example, I had the 豚汁 (vegetable soup with pork) -- simply delicious, 優しい味💓 Don't forget the homemade desserts, very varied and just as exceptionally delicious! The owner is also extremely nice and attentive. I always enjoy chatting with her ;p 10000% recommended and I'll be back!

It has a really nice atmosphere, cool decor, and good music. There's a wide selection of beers, wines, and cocktails. There are only a few "proper" dishes, but there's definitely something for everyone. Steak, ribs, chicken with salad, and vegetarian options are available in generous portions at good to very reasonable prices, especially considering the location. They also offer various snacks and appetizers. Baguettes, cheese cubes, salami, olives, or all of these together as a snack plate—practically a whole meal in itself. It's perfect if you're having a few beers with the guys and get hungry, or if you're just a couple looking for a nice meal and drinks. We went there with our 6-month-old and were very happy. The staff was extremely attentive and always available. Getting hot water to warm up our little one's baby food was no problem at all. Even otherwise, we were always well looked after and never had to wait long for service, and the food arrived very quickly.

A very nice cabin-like atmosphere. Friendly service, but they too often leave you sitting with empty glasses for an hour without paying attention to the guests. Very good selection of wines by the glass, but at higher prices. The appetizers are quite expensive. The vegetarian consommé is very heavy on celery and overly salty, and the white bread served with the homeopathic-sized cheese fondue is half dried out from being reheated – a shame, as it would have been so easy with fresh white bread. The supposedly large Wiener Schnitzel comes out of the pan with such a limp breading that it seems pre-prepared and reheated. The ketchup and mayo are the simplest ready-made products and don't match the standard of the kitchen. The caramel biscuit served with the espresso is also superfluous and of the cheapest supermarket quality. The main course portions are large, and the price-performance ratio is very good. You can expect a solid meal here, but there's room for improvement for fine dining. The service is recommended.
