Amazing atmosphere, service, and food were simply amazing! We had a marvelous time. The garlic soup and potatoes with onion stole the show!

Absolutely disappointed recently, as it used to be very good there. Brief summary: - We waited a full 20 minutes after ordering drinks, even though the restaurant was nearly empty (max. 15 guests). - The appetizer platter we ordered for €20 was rather uninspired and of a quality more akin to Aldi. - For our main courses, we ordered two pizzas and tagliatelle. The BBQ pizza we ordered was a disaster (no taste, ingredients listed on the menu were missing, and it was completely soggy). The second pizza was similar. - After we finished eating, and even after we finished our drinks, there was no further service. - After we asked to pay, the server started clearing the table, which is absolutely rude, as it's incredibly cheeky to ask guests to put their plates and glasses at the edge of the table. - The bill included items that we hadn't ordered, so he tried to overcharge us by several euros. In short, a dinner for three people that costs more than €100 is outrageous and not recommended.

If you want good food at a fair price, then go to the Kirchenwirt in Mering. There are always new seasonal dishes to look forward to. I can recommend a visit to everyone.

Half a duck and meat with dumplings (borderline spicy) was very good and tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. I would gladly come again anytime!

I booked the evening before and wanted to cancel one night the next morning. A day later, I received an email saying it was too late. Ridiculous! Unfortunately, it wasn't quite what I had imagined. The tiles in the bathroom were broken. I had to ask several times to get a Wi-Fi signal. There were hairs in the "freshly" washed bed linens. Towels weren't changed daily. At least the location was nice, hence the two stars.

The food was a clear 10/10. We had the duck and the fish duo – both incredibly delicious, especially the sauces. The small salad that came with it was also perfectly balanced. The atmosphere was quiet, cozy, and simply pleasant. The service was consistently attentive, friendly, and professional. Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back!
