A lovely atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff. The food was fantastic, and you should definitely try one of their Italian drinks. The espresso machine coffee, in particular, is a dream for any coffee lover. We'll definitely be back!
I was invited to this restaurant for a birthday celebration.
The waiter was very nice and friendly! The food was delicious and the portions were very generous.
Highly recommended. Thank you! :)
By far the best pizza in Freising until the beginning of the year. Unfortunately, the pizza has declined significantly since February/March, probably due to a new chef or worse ingredients. Hopefully the pizza will taste like Italy again soon, at the moment it's nothing special anymore.
We will not be ordering from here again. The food was cold and absolutely not worth the price. 86 euros for this meal is simply laughable and not recommended. We are all, literally, still shocked by what we received.
We had a Christmas party there, and it was okay overall, except for the way they pressured us in a harsh tone to order something, as they said that's how they make their living. I have to say that unfortunately cost the server her tips. If I said I wasn't ordering anything and she immediately passed it on to the owner, who then approached me like that, well, good luck if she did that to everyone.
Then we had to wait well over an hour for the food. It's worth mentioning that there weren't many people in the restaurant at that point. We told the server several times that we wanted to order, and she kept saying she'd be right there. In the time it took us to order, the woman had already taken payments from two other tables and served a new one.
It's okay, I had imagined something different, but oh well.
We won't be going there again.
We found the restaurant on Google and were thrilled with our first visit. The price-performance ratio is excellent, the food is top-notch, and the portions are generously sized.
We're going back again tomorrow.
Unfortunately, we couldn't reconcile the quality and price with the service. It was our first time here and perhaps our expectations were too high. The oysters (Fine Claire) were very fresh and good, as were the desserts. The crème brûlée and sorbet variations (basil, lychee, and strawberry) were very tasty (although the latter was too large in portions). The aim (according to the chef) is to prepare the fish perfectly on the charcoal grill; unfortunately, our Loupe de Mer was grilled too "hard," the skin mostly blackened, and the meat was already very cooked and dry around the edges. Admittedly, I didn't mention it to the chef until afterward. Nevertheless, a gesture like the espresso on the house would have been nice.
Unfortunately, the service also doesn't live up to expectations. The waitress asks who wants what and, after receiving an answer, serves the man at the table first. There's no separate butter knife on the bread plate for spreading the bread, and no fish cutlery, except for a fork for the oysters.
The atmosphere is great, because it's right next to the slaughterhouse. The downside is that there was some truck traffic on a Friday evening (we sat outside) and a few annoying flies.
A very German place, where the food is typical of Munich. Nice waiters. Good food, typical Bavarian dishes, with good produce. Very large quantities, in cases where you can order a small portion. To think that a bottle of water is around 7 euros. Noisy but cozy place.
The food was delicious and the portions were generous. There were three of us, and all three meals were truly excellent. The prices were also reasonable. We went on a Monday, so it probably wasn't that busy, and we were served very quickly.
