We held a celebration there at the end of August.
Communication was very straightforward and focused from the start. This continued throughout the event. We were able to express our wishes, and they always tried to accommodate them.
The service staff was consistently attentive and friendly to everyone.
The food and the venue were praised by everyone.
The adjoining room and the restaurant were beautifully decorated.
We would gladly return, as we had a wonderful day there.
We found out about Makii through a coupon book. Unfortunately, the coupon isn't valid for sushi, but the book has a large picture of a sushi roll and mentions sushi in the text. It would be nice if that were also stated in the book.
Aside from that, the appetizer was okay (fried spring rolls, gyoza, and shrimp).
The sushi isn't anything special (at least not on the set menu); I found the white fish on the nigiri very chewy. My sashimi was unfortunately still frozen in the middle. There was a lot of rice in the maki, but it tasted alright.
The service was also okay. Unfortunately, we were charged for duck instead of chicken at the end, which we only noticed too late.
The restaurant is a rather small, somewhat uncomfortable space, but it has a pretty mural on the wall. The lights flicker a bit, which is a little distracting.
All in all, it's okay, but not a must-visit.
No star: the opening hours on the homepage are either incorrect or nobody answers the phone or simply nobody replies to emails or the shop is not dependent on customers 🤷
The place is absolutely disgusting. The kitchen isn't clean, the smell is terrible when you walk in, everything is filthy and dirty, and there are layers of grease behind the tables. The picture shows what's behind the roasting pan.
Tastes differ...
Unfortunately, I didn't like it at all. It was way too seasoned for me. And I'm not someone who normally eats without salt or anything like that...
Chicken without fiber?
Sorry. I couldn't eat it. But I'm sure others will like it.
A very appealing breakfast for two!
For €20 for two, everything was included: breakfast eggs, various cold cuts and cheeses, jam, honey, butter and cream cheese, plus four different bread rolls, two hot drinks, and two juices.
The staff member was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and went out of her way to offer us something delicious. Such top-notch service is rare these days.
Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable breakfast that I can absolutely recommend!
So, my girlfriend and I went there yesterday! We wanted two cappuccinos to go.
We went in, saw the espresso machines, and thought: Perfect!
We ordered, the guy walked past us, went to a coffee machine, and pressed the cappuccino button! He dispensed both of them, and then came the exclamation: €10.40, please!
Are you serious? €5.20 in Augsburg for a vending machine coffee? Ridiculous!
We're from Munich, and I've never paid €5 for a cappuccino to go! Here, you pay for it from a machine!
Then it tasted like soup seasoning! I went back in and complained! Then I got two new ones from an espresso machine. They weren't great either and certainly not worth €5.20!
I hope this place goes under! This is a rip-off!
Never again! You can't wait 40 minutes for a doner kebab because he served his friends first who arrived after us. We had already finished our drinks before the doner kebab finally arrived.
After the renovation, it now looks quite bright and welcoming. The renovation was truly necessary. The parking situation remains simply disastrous; they should have redesigned it as well. Everyone parks where they want and how they want.
