Die besten Restaurants in Schelklingen

We, the Musikverein Althütte e.V., were here from January 31st to February 3rd, 2025 for a rehearsal weekend. Clean, lots of large rooms, great location for self-catering! We had a lot of fun and would love to come back next year!

Great location, great food, friendly service, definitely visit. The Zwetschgenplatz is a dream. Highly recommended.

Is it possible that the food is different during the week than at the weekend? There was only spaetzle or fries, no dumplings, etc. our Cordon Blue looked different than the picture posted here. There were two pieces of meat that looked identical, the same thickness, the same size and the breading (industrial breading) was completely even, it was frozen goods!! The sauce for the Jägerschnitzel was also made from powder! (you can see it as the chef I once was) friendly service?? She didn't even wish you bon appetit or ask if it tasted good!! No questions asked if I wanted to drink something else, nothing! When I wanted to pay she first looked through her newspaper, then after 5 minutes she came! We came especially from Günzburg (80km away) because the reviews are so good, unfortunately! We were here on Friday evening and were the only guests, which may be why the innkeepers didn't work as well as when the restaurant was full. I would have liked to write a positive review, but unfortunately that was not possible under these circumstances

Simply the best kebab pizza I know. Doner and Dürum are also really good and the staff is super friendly. Unfortunately, prices have gone up a bit recently, but as we all know, this is a Germany-wide problem.

Was here for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. I would like to come by again because the words hospitality, service and quality are still very important here.

The only thing that drove me here for lunch was the fact that not a single other restaurant in Schelklingen was open on Monday. You can't really call it a restaurant or an inn. The terms "pub" or "dive bar" describe it better, because two alcohol consumers loitering at the bar at lunchtime dominated the image when entering. The slot machines complete this picture. Most of the tables weren't even ready for guests, but were littered with accounting documents. After all these impressions, the currywurst with fries was surprisingly good and cheap.
