We ate at Schatzhauser. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was good, but not exceptional. The wild herb salad, once with corn-fed chicken and once with caramelized goat cheese, was truly excellent. The portion was very large. The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection but too pale, meaning it lacked a good sear. For €56, I expect something special. The way the burger was constructed made it almost impossible to eat without spilling. The ambiance is a matter of taste. It's very cold and has a bit of a cafeteria feel. I'm also not entirely clear on the pricing. All in all, I find the prices too high.
We had the most delicious sauerbraten ever here. And the roast goose breast was also incredibly tasty. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.
Schwindt's Restaurant...it was only very late in my discovery of this small, exquisite vaulted restaurant. Nevertheless, I quickly learned to appreciate it greatly. For me, this restaurant is a place of well-being and enjoyment. Everyone on the team contributes equally to this. From the atmosphere of the vaulted ceiling, decorated with attention to detail, to the attentive, respectful service, and, of course, the excellent dishes – you can feel the dedication in everything. Be proud of this great achievement and keep your time here in Dresden in good memory.
I am grateful for every evening I was able to spend here.
I wish you all the best for the future.
Great restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine! I haven't had such a good Italian restaurant in the area in a long time. The pizza base is homemade, let rise for a long time, and is very fluffy. The pasta has the perfect consistency, the sauce is fresh, and the flavors are bursting with flavor. The service is also very friendly, but not intrusive. A definite recommendation!
Excellent Roman-style pizza.
The pizzeria is a small streetside shack with a more than basic atmosphere (outdoor seating). The pizza is made to order, the ingredients are fresh, and the result was extremely satisfying. I ordered a 4-cheese pizza and it was excellent. Prices are below average. I highly recommend it.
The best Thai food, paired with THE most lovely staff. I have travelled a lot, but this spot is by far the best. We had the green curry, spring rolls and massaman beef. Thank you, Thai Aroma.
A real recommendation! We had spare ribs and a veggie burger. Both were delicious. The chef is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. He runs his restaurant with a lot of heart. You can taste and feel it. Keep up the good work, and thank you for the wonderful evening.
First off, the goulash was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, the supposed concept of no menu wasn't really implemented. The explanation of the different goulash variations was meager, and it didn't exactly whet my appetite to try anything special. Of course, prices weren't revealed until I paid. It came to almost 20 euros.
The service was also rather sluggish; they definitely needed a second server.
The ambiance was cozy and inviting. There were some lovely pictures in the dining room. Unfortunately, the initial impression from outside, with the old summer flowers, was a bit neglected.
Ultimately, everyone has to decide for themselves whether the food is worth the price. I enjoyed it, but I won't be coming back.
