The restaurant is centrally located across from the palace, atmospheric, with good service.
Although Asian cuisine is not close to my tastes, here I can say with certainty that the food was delicious.
We tried many different dishes and they were all delicious.
If there were more stars, I would definitely give them.
We visited here on Friday. After making a hassle-free reservation, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table. The restaurant was well-filled. The ambiance is very cozy—it feels like a friend's living room. The menu is very diverse. Even our requests for changes after placing our orders were handled promptly and friendly. We first shared an appetizer platter with various Greek specialties. We also received a Greek salad plate. For our main course, I chose the pork loin in Metaxa sauce. The meat was super tender, the sauce incredibly delicious, and the fries were also fresh and crispy. My husband had a Corfu platter. The quality was also simply top-notch. To top it all off, we had Greek yogurt with honey and nuts.
All the dishes were fresh, high-quality, and lovingly prepared. I've rarely had such good Greek food!
We ate at the Mythos restaurant with two adults and two small dogs.
The food was delicious and of excellent quality.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Our dogs were very welcome.
We highly recommend the restaurant.
The restaurant initially impresses with its stylish and tastefully decorated ambience – a place that certainly invites you to linger and enjoy yourself. It's all the more regrettable that the culinary experience didn't live up to this first impression.
We opted for two main courses – duck and fish – which sounded quite promising on the menu. However, the portions were very manageable, and both dishes fell short of our expectations in terms of taste. They lacked finesse, depth, and flavor – the culinary signature that would elevate a dish above the average. For the price, more refinement and precision would have been desirable.
Disappointed with the main course, we ultimately forwent dessert and ordered anything else – a decision that speaks for itself.
Unfortunately, the service also failed to provide a positive counterpoint. Despite the dining room being only moderately full, the staff were inattentive and noticeably slow. This became particularly apparent at the end of the evening: A wait of around 15 minutes for the bill further dampened the overall impression.
The ambiance remains the only bright spot – stylish, pleasant, and designed with attention to detail. But unfortunately, even this setting couldn't redeem the lackluster culinary experience.
All in all, an evening that fell far short of our expectations – we probably won't be returning.
The room was very clean, although it was small for the building. The breakfast was excellent, plentiful and delicious.
Perfect location, 3-4 minutes from the market square, and a 3-4 minute walk from parking lot 5.
Very friendly service, excellent food selection, above the norm.
It would be nice if smokers and non-smokers were more clearly separated outside. Otherwise, you'd have the smoke from the neighboring table's cigarettes, which are thoughtfully held back for the sake of their fellow diners, in your face while you eat.
As a native of the Ruhr area, from Duisburg, the birthplace of currywurst, I can confirm: Original Ruhr area currywurst.
Fruity, spicy sauce, an excellent bratwurst, and fantastically crispy fries.
10/10
Karl, you put that thing in there, I'm telling you, or what?
