A nice, modern restaurant with classic burgers. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. However, I wasn't as impressed with the Double Classic Burger. There was hardly any burger sauce, even though it tasted quite good. The meat was almost unseasoned and unfortunately tasted like freshly cooked, plain ground beef without any other seasoning. It was a real shame. The fries and pulled pork, on the other hand, were really good. If they improved the ground beef a bit, it would have been a five-star experience across the board. I'll definitely come back sometime and try them again.
Reservations are recommended during peak hours.
Incredibly good burgers and tapas, in all variations and also vegetarian – there's something for everyone here. Superb sweet potato fries. Open even in winter when many other places are closed. If we come back to Poel, we'll definitely eat here again!
The food was really good. The price/performance ratio was perfectly fine. Our waiter seemed a bit annoyed and wasn't in a great mood. But I think everyone has a bad day now and then. We'll be back.
We had two keke dürüms; one was fantastic (5/5), the other rather disappointing (3/5) compared to the first, though still edible. The sauces, however, were rather bland. The dürüm bread was wonderfully crispy, something I'd never experienced before. I would definitely go back.
From the outside it looks very unassuming, but the owners are incredibly friendly, the food is fantastic, and the portions are generous. If I didn't have to drive over an hour to get here, I would definitely come more often. In short: highly recommended! 👍👍👍
