Absolutely brilliant food. Great range of food and wonderful flavours. 100% will be returning when we next come back to Berlin. Would strongly recommend the spring rolls!!
A charming little restaurant with delicious dishes made from locally sourced ingredients.
Excellent value for money.
The staff are very friendly and attentive.
The food is absolutely delicious.
This was my first time at Needles & Pins and I definitely wasn't disappointed. The reviews speak for themselves. The atmosphere, the service, and the food were all top-notch. Keep it up! I'll gladly come back.
An Indian restaurant where everything is just right.
The menu offers something for everyone. And if not, the staff is happy to provide excellent recommendations.
The food is delicious, perfectly seasoned, and the portions are more than generous. The ambiance contributes to a pleasant evening.
All this at surprisingly low prices. Even the cocktails are about a third cheaper than what we've seen elsewhere. And they're delicious too.
If it weren't 600 km away, we would definitely come more often.
I ordered a falafel wrap from Rashccok and was quite disappointed. The eggplant was undercooked and barely edible. Overall, the wrap was bland: lots of salad, hardly any hummus, and only three falafel. It was mostly filled with cabbage, and at €11.40 for such a small portion, it was outrageously expensive.
There's nothing wrong with the staff, but at such a high price, I expect much more than just three falafel.
I wouldn't recommend it; there are cheaper and tastier alternatives.
We ate at Akam's in Heidelberg.
Upon entering the restaurant, several employees were standing behind the counter, but we were neither greeted nor spoken to.
We initially found a table ourselves, as it wasn't clear that the concept involved ordering at the counter. Again, there was no reaction or even a brief explanation.
After a while, we went to the counter ourselves and asked. There, we were informed that orders could only be placed at the counter. We then did so and picked up our food ourselves at the counter, even though we were the first and only customers in the restaurant.
Unfortunately, the bread was only lukewarm, which was a shame, as there would have been plenty of time to prepare it fresh and warm. This somewhat dampened our impression.
On the positive side, the food was very tasty. With a little more attention from the service, clearer communication of the ordering process, and better temperature of the food, the visit could have been much more enjoyable overall.
We recently visited Ganesha. The overall experience was okay, but not the best. The Achari Chicken starter was excellent and definitely the highlight of the meal. However, the biryani was disappointing it tasted more like a pulao, which is not what you expect when ordering biryani at a restaurant.
The ambience was quite good, but we had an unfortunate experience with the takeaway packing. We had requested our remaining food to be packed, and the packaging was done so poorly that one of my friend’s bags got completely spoiled.
The prices are on the higher side, and it also felt like the portion sizes have been reduced compared to what you’d normally expect.
Overall, decent but with several areas that could be improved.
Friendly owner! Delicious food (see picture: Kabab Bakhtiari, lamb and chicken). The meat was incredibly juicy! I'm from Hanover and it was my first time there today! I highly recommend this restaurant in Kassel!
Ordered via Uber Eats – for the second time. The first time, the sauce was missing, so this time I wrote in the order notes: "Please don't forget the sauce :) No offense intended, it happens." Now both kumpir dishes I ordered are wrong. They said they'd call back in five minutes, but I never heard from them. My call went unanswered; I only got through to someone on a different number. Mistakes happen, but a quick message would have been nice.
