Food tastes good.
Service needs improvement.
The portion size is outrageous!
Just because the place is busy doesn't mean they shouldn't keep an eye on the price-performance ratio.
A "large" doner kebab plate was like a child's portion! I don't even want to know what the small doner kebab plate looks like.
The salad consists of red cabbage, onion rings, a slice of tomato, and a lettuce leaf.
Sorry, folks, that's not a salad.
I pointed out to the cashier that the prices listed online were different (I based my phone order on that) than the prices in the shop.
She told me I'd looked at the wrong thing.
What can you say?
We went to the restaurant today and unfortunately paid more than the price list indicated. I didn't notice it while we were there, although something seemed off to me even then. After the visit, I checked the prices on the website, and according to my calculations, we should have paid €52. I also asked for a 10% tip, so the total should have been €57.20.
However, we actually paid €62.90 (or €63.90) – definitely much more than the price list indicated, even with the tip. We ordered the mixed grill platter, the kofta burger, two coffees, tea, and a wheat beer (0% off).
We only received a printout from the terminal, but no proper receipt. The printout showed the total as a breakdown of the price and tip, but even this breakdown didn't reflect the actual charges at all – I ignored it at the time, but now I realize it wasn't a coincidence. I also noticed that this isn't the first comment about incorrectly calculated prices, so I decided to write this review.
It's a shame, because the food was good and served quickly.
We were there today because it had been recommended to us several times by friends. Absolutely fantastic restaurant, very nice ambiance, and the food is first-class! The value for money is spot on! The staff also does a fantastic job! We'd love to come back!!
PS: A huge compliment to Adi and Leo – thanks to such a staff, we have regulars! 🙏👌
Unfortunately, Hotel Peters is no longer run in the style of its previous owners (we've been going to Neuharlingersiel since 1973). The staff addresses everyone informally, regardless of age. The owner is rude to paying customers if things don't go her way. The beds are as hard as concrete and creak with every movement. The restaurant prices are outrageous; the value for money is terrible (the vegetables were so hard you couldn't even cut them with a knife). Breakfast cost €25, and for that you got jam and other things in plastic containers, pre-baked rolls, and cold tea. This was our first time there, and we were very dissatisfied. We will not be returning to this hotel.
We had a wonderful evening with delicious pizza and good wine. The chocolate cake for dessert was absolutely divine. The service was excellent and very friendly.
A first-class spot for delicious Asian food in a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Dortmund. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff is super friendly and accommodating, and the food is excellent. You simply can't complain here.
Very delicious vegan food! A good selection of dishes, everything is beautifully presented, the service is super friendly, and the prices are right :)
I'll definitely be back and will recommend it!
Best place in Berlin, food is always great and cheap. I come by usually for my lunch break and the simpathy and kindness of the owner really improves my mood even on the worst days.
Couldn't recommend it more!
