Die leckersten Falafel überhaupt! Leicht, grün, mit köstlichen Soßen. Der Schawarma-Teller meiner Freunde war auch super. Man kann sogar zwei Gerichte kombinieren. PS: Ich hatte schon angefangen zu essen, als ich das Foto gemacht habe. Die Präsentation war auch sehr ansprechend. So lecker!

Einfach lecker, einer der besten Läden für falafel und shawarma. Vor allem die spezial Platte wärmstens zu empfehlen!

Ich kam zu Zweistrom's, um mir einen dringend benötigten Mitternachtssnack zu gönnen. Es war Samstagabend und die Stimmung im Viertel war super! Ich bestellte den Falafel-Wrap. Die Falafel wurden frisch frittiert, was ich sehr schätzte. Nachdem die Falafel fertig waren, füllte der Mitarbeiter sie in den Wrap und ging dann zu der Theke mit Gemüse und Toppings vor mir. Er gab Hummus, Gurken, Tomaten, Salat und, glaube ich, scharfen Senf hinzu. Nachdem er den Wrap gefüllt hatte, rollte er ihn zusammen und legte ihn für ein paar Minuten auf den Grill. Mein Falafel-Wrap war köstlich und voller Aromen und Texturen! Zuerst einmal knusprig! Durch das Grillen war der Wrap herrlich knusprig. Dann kam der zusätzliche Biss der Falafel. Darauf folgte der cremige und würzige Hummus. Das Gemüse passte perfekt dazu. Extra: Vegane Optionen Bis 3 Uhr morgens geöffnet! Ein paar Sitzplätze drinnen Außensitzplätze vorhanden Es war authentisch, günstig, frisch und schnell – und sie hatten lange geöffnet! Mein Falafel-Wrap war der perfekte Mitternachtssnack, der mir am nächsten Tag weder ein schlechtes Gewissen noch ein Völlegefühl bereitete. Auch der Service war super! Der nette Herr, der dort arbeitete, war freundlich und hatte eine tolle Ausstrahlung. Wir haben uns kurz unterhalten, das war wirklich nett. Ich wünsche ihm alles Gute. Sie haben die besten Falafel in Berlin, und wenn du auf orientalische Küche stehst, solltest du unbedingt dort vorbeischauen. Alles wird frisch zubereitet, die Zutaten sind superlecker, und du solltest unbedingt den gemischten Teller probieren. Das Personal ist außerdem sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Es ist immer ein Highlight, wenn ich hier zu Mittag essen kann! Absolut top!

Ich war bei Zweistrom und war leider enttäuscht. Die Preise sind völlig intransparent – selbst ein kleiner Löffel Hummus kostet extra und das erfährt man erst beim Bezahlen. Die Portion (Falafel im Brot mit Makali und Salat) war deutlich kleiner als in vergleichbaren Läden. Auch der Service ließ zu wünschen übrig, der Verkäufer wirkte eher unfreundlich.

Sie haben die besten Falafel in Berlin, und wenn du auf orientalische Küche stehst, solltest du unbedingt dort vorbeischauen. Alles wird frisch zubereitet und ist superlecker.

Sehr leckerer Schawarma und Makali gehen dort seit mehr als 10 Jahren hin. Es gibt sowohl Tellergerichte als auch klassisch im „Brot“

Das Essen war sehr lecker und schnell zubereitet. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Da es sehr klein ist, hat man im Winter nicht immer einen Platz. Aber To go ist eine gute Alternative.

I ordered dinner from Zweistrom today for the first time in a long while. It was a disaster. The shawama was completely soggy and not crispy at all. The kufta, on the other hand, was burnt. I threw the entire meal away and will never order from there again. Zweistrom food used to be excellent.

Bestie Falafel and Shawarma in Berlin

The first shop I know to offer tabbouleh in bread. Absolutely delicious, with plenty of lemon – the perfect snack when you don't feel like something fried. The guys were also very relaxed and friendly.

I didn't even go in. Young cook/person. Different people. Smoking outside. Eating in between meals. Without washing hands. Outdoor shoes and clothes are also work clothes. The hygiene supervisor should be informed. Unhygienic and just disgusting. Seems to be popular in the neighborhood...but who's surprised? If you like it. Enjoy your meal!

Good food, fair prices, friendly staff. What more could you want?

It used to be really good, and I went there often. Now it's more or less mediocre. The bread tastes very good, but they always put too little sauce on it, and when I ask for more, I get muttered at and told that it costs €1 extra. Too bad, jam! There's a better option nearby in the Kollwitzkiez district, where you're also treated nicer. The staff at Zweistrom have often seemed grumpy and stressed lately.

Very regular shawarma. They add potatoes to the shawarma and very little meat so you end up eating bread and potatoes.

I ordered a hummus plate and got a plate with 4 sauces and like 12 grams of hummus!! never again!

I ordered Schawerma and I swear it didn’t have even 15 gram meat! Some vegetables and sauce inside a bread for 6 Euro sandwich…

Everything tastes amazing. It’s fresh and I also very much believe home made. Can really recommend the vegetarian mix plate.

Very good! I have been going to visit him several times since I live in the neighborhood. Always very high quality, tasty and really an excellent representative of the cuisine of his region of origin (I think Iraq, in any case Middle East).

Best shawerma i tried so far. Iraqi style. Sandwich for 6 eur, not using white bread, all ingredients and fresh and sanwich has some potatoes in, makes it tastier.

The vegetarian plate for 2 people had exactly 2 falafel on it. Unfortunately we didn't get enough. At other falafel shops you get significantly more for your money for €20

It was simply terrible. The food was small, the sauces tasted awful, and we received expired ayrans. After we informed the staff that we had received expired ayrans, the staff realized that they only served expired ayrans. Unfortunately, we are very disappointed and will probably not come again...

In the world where there really are 1 to 5 stars - this was a 4*. Because it's a bit too small, sauces don't taste as fresh, bread is cheaper

Best falafel i've ever had, and one of the best shawarma as well. Falafel are made and fried on the spot when you order, the staff is super friendly, you feel like being invited to eat in a lebanese house. Prices are fair, the shawarma size was maybe a bit small but it made up in taste. Definetely miles ahead of the famous kebab places in Berlin.

The food was delicious, but an incredibly small portion, almost no vegetables in the bread? Wasn't full, but it only costs €5 in bread... About the ambience... I actually wanted to leave as it looked very dirty and shabby, but I was hungry. (Which I still have now)

On Google it says open until midnight. I stand at the counter at 11:15 p.m. and am no longer allowed to order. Then adjust the opening times!

Best schwarma plate I’ve ever had. Super cheap and really tasty. Not the usual “teller” you would expect, has a lot more flavour and different salads.

I was there many times many years ago and always found the food very tasty, but unfortunately this has changed a lot. There may have been a change of ownership, but I'm not entirely sure. Unfortunately, it no longer corresponds to what was once there, but the dishes still lacked the truly stunning qualitative taste, which unfortunately no longer corresponded to the previous ones. It's no longer the cozy atmosphere it once was. Very, very dark inside and everything outside is old-fashioned. It's a shame, but the staff was very friendly.

We go there just to eat. There's always soup and Kinderteller. All the dishes are fresh and natural. The service is perfect.

Disappointed! I cannot recommend. I’m in Berlin for 10 years and never had such a bad experience on Donner/falafel/schwarma etc. I saw this place ranked as the third best Kebap in Prenzlauerberg… it was the worst I ever had. The schwarma (chicken meet) was totally without taste, bread was dry, and basically no sauce at all. In the end it was a tasteless schwarma and mega dry. My boyfriend had a falafel teller; it came with some lettuce and tomato, no sauce, this is not even traditional from an Arabic teller. The falafel were with a watery taste and some hard stuff inside - tasting like nothing. Also almost no food in the plate, and a dry fried potato aside. I’m sorry, I have to give an honest review, so the manager could rethink what are they doing there. Went there on the 03.05.2024.

I've been coming here since 2016, and I'm pleased to say that the quality has remained consistently excellent. The meat is always flavorful, and they offer plenty of delicious vegetarian options too. Leckerer Falafel im Brot. Falafel und Salat waren frisch, das Brot war auch gut. Es gibt gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten. Portionsgröße fand ich gut, bin zum Mittagessen satt geworden. Das Gefühl nach dem Essen war auch angenehm leicht. Geschmacklich hat mir noch was gefehlt, würde nächstes Mal vielleicht noch mehr scharfe Soße bestellen. Die Falafel fand ich innen etwas zu weich.

Früher viel viel besser. Neuer Inhaber (?) mit geizigen Tellern a la Kinderteller… früher waren wir regelmäßig hier.

Ich fand es früher besser. Schade, dass einerseits die Preise erhöht wurden und andererseits weniger im Sandwich landet. Wenn es schon teurer ist, dann finde ich 2 Gurkenscheiben und 2 Tomatenscheiben zu wenig. Und wenn man extra Taboule oder Hummus möchte, kostet das natürlich wieder extra... irgendwie unnötig. Fänd es besser, wenn die Preise so kalkuliert sind, dass man hier freier kombinieren kann.

Ein kleiner Laden mit großen Außenbereich. Der SpezialTeller und das Shawarma war sehr lecker, der Falafel knusprig und saftig ,die Soßen vielseitig, frisch und lecker. Gerne komme ich wieder.

Ich bin unregelmäßiger Kunde. Leider wurde der falafel immer schlechter mit der Zeit und ist jetzt an einen Stand angekommen, den ich nicht mehr empfehlen kann. Trocken und Geschmacklos. Das ganze Gegenteil wie vor ca 10 Jahren als ich das erste Mal Hier aß.. Trockener falafelball, Kartoffeln, einbergsalat, geschmacklose joghurtsauce. Muss mich mal nach was neuen umgucken.. Schade

I have a passion for this place and it's probably the only reason why I haven't starved to death on those busy days. Imagine a döner but lighter, fruitier and with more complexity in its taste. My personal fav: Kofta-Mutabal im Brot.

Essen ok, Getränke übertrieben teuer. Schwarma im Brot für 5€ war sehr gut, eine Cola kostete ebenfalls 5€. Lieber mitnehmen und Getränke woanders holen.

Used to be one of my favourite Middle Eastern restaurants in the city but has gone downhill so much over the years that it doesn’t make sense to go here anymore. Half-full wraps, no harmony between ingredients, sauce balance way off.

Vari tipi di assaggi di piatti arabi, in particolare della cucina libanese tutti gustosi e in abbondanza. Come detto da altri, servono bibite analcoliche. Ottimo per un pasto salubre ed economico.

Delicious food at super reasonable prices. We've enjoyed eating here for many years. Great for a quick lunch or take out on the way home.

My latest outing there ended up with food poisoning. The falafel halloumi sandwich did not taste fresh I took only a few bites and had stomachache all evening and next day. Beware!
