Today we wanted to spontaneously come to dinner at 5 p.m. with two people and a child. Unfortunately, we were sent away because there was supposedly no more room for us. At this point there were still a lot of tables free and we pointed out that we would definitely leave after an hour, but unfortunately we were refused. Directly after us, a couple spontaneously came in like us and asked for a place and it worked immediately. I then asked why this was suddenly happening and unfortunately I was answered rather cheekily that I should take a look at the table. So 4 adults could have sat close together and the 2 of us with an 8 year old could have sat there really well. It's a shame that you're so stiff and not flexible at all. Next time we will definitely make a reservation in advance, but it's still sad that they didn't let us take a seat.

Went there for dinner with 4 people on Sunday evening. Conclusion: incredibly tasty, simply amazing. The atmosphere is rustic and very cozy, the staff is nice, accommodating and very, very friendly. As I said, the food was incredibly tasty, the portions were very generous and lovingly prepared. Kudos to the kitchen! The grape is highly recommended in all respects!

Ambience outside is very nice, suitable for cyclists. Last Sunday we didn't get any food outside even though it was outside. We were very rudely told to carry the food out at around 1 p.m. Today, Saturday, we were there at 1:30 p.m. and the waitress swarmed us with the comment: “Unfortunately the food is already empty today, and so early”…. What really annoys me are the very high prices for drinks. 5.20 € for an alcohol-free Weitzen (0.5l)????? (over 10 marks). Incredible. Unfortunately I didn't look at the drink prices beforehand. I would have gone. We're not here in Frankfurt or Munich. Furthermore, the tables and chairs outside (market square) were replaced. The chairs are very uncomfortable and very hard. The comfort of spending a nice evening with a good meal (like in recent years) is gone. Too bad.

Gutbügerlicher Gasthof am Marktplatz von Nidda. Schön gelegen. Wir hatten das Tagesgericht vom Donnerstag, das ein halbes Hähnchen mit Pommes und Krautsalat beinhaltet. Das Hähnchen war gut gewürzt, hatte krosse Haut und zartes, saftiges Fleisch. Die Pommes waren ebenfalls schön kross. Der Gasthof/das Hotel brauen selbst Dunkles, Helles und Weizenbier. Alle drei sind sehr zu empfehlen.

The waitresses who work here are polite, courteous and have a smile on their faces, which enhances the brewery experience. The rustic, wooden interior design gives the on-site brewery a beguiling charm, which tempts or invites customers to return to this fine inn soon. And that's exactly how I'll keep it, at least for my part. Mind you, the rooms were not inspected by me as a reviewer. Despite this, a satisfactory quality of furnishings, cleanliness and feel-good atmosphere is assumed.

We wanted to make a reservation by phone and were asked how many people. When we said 2 adults and a baby we were told that this wasn't possible with the baby. Bedauerlicher Weise widerspricht die sehr tolle und einladende gastfreundlich gestaltete Gasthaus, dem Service in seiner vollen breite. Wir hatten einen schönen ausklang eine Kurnachmittages gehofft und wurden eines besseren Belehrt. Unsere Bestellung war einfach und in der Kommunikation gab es keine Unklarheiten. Ein essen für Senioren, leider und sehr bedauerlich wurde diese Bestellung in dem Umfang nicht umgesetzt, noch bot man uns eine Nachbessrung in Form des Umtausches einer kleineren Portion an. Essen völlig überteuert und der Preis nicht nachvollziehbar. Das wir dann obendrein den komplettpreis bezahlen sollten und unsere Anmerkung / Kritik in den Räumlichkeiten ohne ein entgegenkommen verhalte waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Werder stellte sich der Serviceleiter noch der Inhaber namentlich sich vor, unhöflich und in einem Schorfen unfreundlichen Ton wurden wir des Weges gewiesen. Uns geht es nicht um die Bezahlung an sich, doch vielmehr über die Art und Weise wie wir als Gäste behandelt wurden. Die Gaststätte werden wir nicht mehr aufsuchen noch können wir eine Weiterempfehlung aussprechen.

Visited the restaurant with friends and had a lovely evening, staff was funny, helpful and kind and food was delicious and plentifull. If we happen to end up nearby again we'll be coming back for sure.

First of all: it's worth it. This was my first time making a reservation to eat here. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff is extremely friendly and personable. But of course the highlight: the food. The first bite for my 3 friends and I was heavenly. Portions large and quality 11/10. Definitely worth the price, without question. I would like to invite people here a lot more often from now on. Thank you for a fantastic evening! :)

Wir sind heute um 13:50 mit dem Fahrrad im Hotel zur Traube angekommen und haben uns auf ein schönes Mittagessen gefreut. Eigentlich eine richtig tolle Location mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten auf dem wunderschönen Marktplatz undmt einer tollen Karte. Das Lokal war sehr gut besucht. Lt. Karte ist die Küche bis 15:00 geöffnet. Kaum hatten wir uns gesetzt, wurden wir darüber informiert, daß trotz oder wohl wegen des großen Besucherandrangs es nicht mehr möglich sei, dort ein Mittagessen zu bestellen. Danke dafür !! Sorry, aber das geht leider gar nicht. Wenn man in derartiger Lage eine derartige Location führt, muss man entweder in der Lage sein, die Kundschaft zu bedienen, oder man lässt es lieber bleiben !!
