Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience. The rooms are very old-fashioned and in need of renovation. We booked two rooms, but were charged for two double rooms – including double breakfast. When we asked for this, there was no consideration or understanding. The breakfast itself was very simple: pre-baked rolls, three slices of sausage each, two slices of cheese, no eggs, no choice. No water on the table; overall, very poor service. The location is also quite remote. It's a shame – the price-performance ratio is unfortunately out of proportion.

Disappointing stay – not recommended We were unfortunately very disappointed with our stay at this inn. Although we were traveling alone, we were charged for a double room for two people, including breakfast. Despite requesting this, we were not expected to be understanding or accommodating on the part of the hosts. The treatment was unfriendly and not very customer-oriented. The room itself was very outdated, worn, and in dire need of renovation. Comfort is nowhere to be found here. The breakfast was unloving and consisted of a minimal selection with no options at all – not even simple alternatives were offered. Added to this is the inn's very remote location, which is not compensated for by either the atmosphere or the hospitality. Overall, the stay was disappointing – the value for money is completely out of the question. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this inn.

Franconian cosiness and friendly hosts

We stayed overnight at this idyllically situated country inn while passing through. The hosts were very friendly, the breakfast and dinner were good, and the beer garden was lovely with a stream. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We would be happy to return. I highly recommend this inn.

Well-kept 2 star house in an enchanted valley. Nice innkeepers who look after the well-being of the guests and also have nice hiking tips. The rooms are very well maintained and clean. In summer, a shady beer garden invites you to relax. The house is close to the A9 and is also ideal for relaxing overnight stays. The prices are fair. The tasty breakfast ensures a good start to the day.

For the price you can't ask for more. Small single rooms with TV and WiFi (not the best in my room). Cleanliness quite ok. Breakfast was good for me. Quietly located near a federal highway.

Wanted to eat here on the way through as it is listed as a restaurant in Google. After a little detour we didn't get anything here, with the words "food is only available for house guests".

/Späth A truly relaxing short break. Courteous, friendly hosts. My dogs were also warmly welcomed. The room was very clean, the bathroom was just right, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was brought to the table, and the evening meal was truly delicious. Well-deserved, all the stars. Keep it up...

Spent one night there from August 4th to 5th, 2024, room (No. 7) was clean with a window facing the stream, breakfast was also good. Would stay there again. Price - performance is absolutely right.

Very nice guesthouse. Very friendly people. Rooms are fine. Rustically furnished. The sink in the room is a bit of a surprise. The room is very noisy, but that didn't bother me. Beds are comfortable. The breakfast is also very good. There are rolls, bread, cold cuts, sausage and cheese, jam, honey, and Nutella. Coffee and orange juice are also available. Some people who start cycling tours here also stay here. I was only there for one night as a transit stop.

4/5 (-1 safety): Great value, as it's cheap and I got everything I needed. Staff was very kind and location is nice with some stream outside and the area overall. Wifi had been stable during the visit.

Eine sehr gastfreundlichen Hotel.

Waren mit dem Motorrad auf Tour und haben hier übernachtet, sehr gemütliche und ruhig gelegene Pension. Die Zimmer sind sehr ordentlich und sauber und schön eingerichtet. Frühstück war auch incl. und sehr lecker. Auch die Inhaber sehr nett und freundlich.

Außerhalb der Wegstrecke kaum zu finden

Auch wenn der Anlass traurig war, Bewirtung und essen waren gut!!!

Einfache Pension. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Etwas aus der Zeit gekommen. Zum Essen gab es nur Fleischgerichte, diese waren durchschnittlich. Die Wirtsleute sind in Ordnung.

Zum Essen kann ich nichts sagen war Ruhetag. Für ein zwei Nächte paßt es. Sehr günstig.

Von mir volle Punktzahl. Das zimmer war der hammer. Mit eigen bach und super ausblick. War echt genial.

Sehr gute Schnitzel! Schöner Gasthof!

Der Landgasthof liegt sehr ruhig in einer kleinen Ortschaft. Außer dem Gasthof gibt es hier sonst nichts mehr zu sehen. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet aber in die Jahre gekommen. Badezimmer sind sehr klein und sollten einmal erneuert werden. Geschlafen haben wir sehr gut - Matratzen waren ok und die Lage der Unterkunft erlaubt es nachts die Fenster geöffnet zu lassen. Das Frühstück ist ganz ok aber ab den zweiten Tag gab es keine Eier mehr . Serviert wird am Tisch - es gibt kein Buffet. Das Restaurant hat Sonntag und Montag geschlossen . Das Essen ist hier nicht so toll, da haben wir in näherer Umgebung deutlich besser gegessen. Wer günstig übernachten möchte ist hier ganz gut aufgehoben.

Sehr gutes von der Familie geführtes Hotel. Die neuesten Zimmer haben ein modernes Bad, die Einrichtung ist etwas klassischer gehalten. Auch das Angebot an Speisen ist empfehlenswert. Am meisten beeindruckt die immer freundliche und hilfsbereite Art der Betreiber.

Saubere Zimmer . Günstige Preise , leckeres Essen

Leider konnten wir hier nicht einkehren, da mich der Landgasthof ein paar Stunden vor Check-In anrief und mitteilte, dass die gebuchten Zimmer via Telefon weggegeben wurden. Leider bekam ich am Telefon nur zur hören, dass ich jetzt bitte auch stornieren sollte. Fehler, vorallem technische, passieren natürlich. Aber ohne eine Entschuldigung ein gebuchtes Zimmer abzusagen ist unschön.
