Great location. Great food. Coffee and cake. Definitely worth a visit.

We were there on a Saturday afternoon and it was very busy. We had to wait in line for a while, but that's the case everywhere. The food was good. There's also a small playground for the kids. The road there is very narrow, and you have to drive carefully. It's not a large beer garden, and that was the nice thing about it. I can recommend the cellar.

Beautiful self-service beer garden. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. After a trip to the lake, stopping by the beer garden again was simply fantastic. We had the cellar cordon bleu, which was delicious.

We celebrated my wife's 70th birthday – with a la carte menu. Our reservation worked out perfectly. The prompt and well-organized service brought everything very quickly. I've been there several times. The food is always delicious. On Sunday, they had Schäufele (shoulder of pork), which was excellent!

Friendly staff and a beautiful location. The kids loved it too, as there's a small playground and the forest and meadows are also inviting places to play. You might need to allow a bit of time when ordering if it's busy, but that's okay; you can use the time to chat 😀

We've been to the Kellerwirtschaft several times this year, on different occasions: birthdays, Christmas, just like that, and we've been very satisfied every time. The landlord is very hospitable and always friendly and committed, even when the place is busy. Even if it was not uncommon for us to have to ask again about an order, for example whether a drink was still coming, this did not spoil the overall impression. Typically Franconian, meat-heavy cuisine, there are also dishes for vegetarians. Great selection of drinks, especially Leif in the Steinbier on tap, fine spirits from a selected distillery. Price-wise, completely okay.

Very nice beer garden with self-service, served inside too. The food was good, she was particularly impressed with the snack bredla for my wife. It's a bit difficult to find, some better signposts would be great.

We ended up in the basement today on the way home from a guys' weekend. What can I say, the food was a disaster for everyone, the wheat beer tasted like it was stretched. The only good thing is the location on the edge of the forest for hikers but otherwise not recommended.

Everything was great and the service is always friendly and helpful. Card payment was possible. Steinbier from the gas is absolutely recommended 😀 We come at least once a month. Playground is also available!

Unfortunately, the winery didn't convince us. A vegetarian burger that came with a meat patty and was very critical when complained about. Even the burger that was actually vegetarian on the second attempt was still labeled as a cellar burger on the attached note. The waiting time for a drink order can be unnecessarily long due to the combination with the food order queue. Drinks are forgotten when ordering or incorrect requests are made for each individual drink (beer becomes Radler, wheat becomes beer, etc.) The toilets: towels were empty, full packs are stored on the wall opposite. The schnitzel was very interesting. We had 2 of them at the table that couldn't have been more different in terms of taste and appearance. Mine was dripping with grease and dry, the breading smooth and chewy. The other tasted good, the breading was crispy and crumbly, as it should be. In my opinion the price performance is not appropriate. We will eat somewhere else in the future, it's a shame.

Thanks to the playground on site, the waiting time with children is no problem, and adults can also pass the time there... Unfortunately, longer waiting times have to be accepted for orders... We've been enjoying going here for years - it's out of the way, but not too far out of the way. A stone's throw away from Lichtenfels for us people who have been trained to hike. I think it's great that the cellar restaurant is open so early. The food is home-style and of good quality. Last time we had a fantastic beef roulade. For people who are not so good on foot, it might be good to know that you have to get your own food and drinks - this is probably due to the staffing situation. Parking spaces are available, but not very numerous. I think the cellar business is also very suitable for families.

what an oasis. a kind of Punica oasis. After your feet started to burn during the long Sunday walk, you were of course looking forward to a hearty roast, which you would then like to eat. Then this restaurant came at just the right time like a mirage in the desert and the heart was happy. It was happy about the good prices, a nice atmosphere and Franconian cuisine and hospitality. The currywurst was better than here in Berlin!

An outside beer garden with a restaurant. This is how I imagine a cozy pub. We were served in a friendly manner, with a note about dishes that weren't on the menu. There are delicious, different beers and delicious food. Man(s), woman should be hungry…. I think the cozy beer garden is a reason to come back in the summer. Good luck and stay the way you are.

Liebevoll herausgeputztes Lokal direkt am Waldrand. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Großer Biergarten für den Sommer. Essen passt, für jeden was dabei. Auch der Vegetarier bekommt hier was.

Ein schöner Keller an warmen Sommertagen. Preis/ Leistung ist absolut Ok. Essen war gut und schnell am Tisch. Kinderspielplatz müsste mal überholt und aufgepeppt werden. Die Außenanlagen sind großzügig aber hätten etwas Pflege nötig. Ich kann den Keller aber mit guten Gewissen empfehlen.

Wunderschöner Biergarten abseits vom Trubel! Das Essen ist lecker und absolut bezahlbar. Kellerburger ist sehr empfehlenswert. Preis Leistung einfach mega!! Die Spielmöglichkeiten für die Kinder sind schön: Schaukel, Rutsche, großer Sandkasten und Riesenwippe 👍🏼 Highlight für unseren Kleinen ist der Spielbagger den man selber bedienen kann (1€ pro "Fahrt"). Ein Besuch lohnt sich allemal.
