There were 3 of us on a cycling trip and the room was unfortunately booked well in advance. From the outside you think it's closed, which would probably be for the best. The whole house smells badly of cigarette smoke and hasn't been cleaned for a long time... In particular, the dining room is next to the landlord's smoking room, where the door is always open. This meant that, as non-smokers, we were allowed to have breakfast in Dampf. There is also a smell of mold in the room and the toilet flush is leaking. There was a strange red brown liquid spread in and outside the shower when we entered the bathroom, although I'm hoping it was just rust water. There are much better accommodations for the money.

I don't know why the reviews are so negative. The room I have is clean apart from one dead fly. Okay, you can complain at a high level. You take a tissue, wipe the thing away and that's it. There's also a fan and a fridge in the room. I think that's really great. You don't have that anywhere else. Okay, the restaurant and the beer garden need a makeover. The outside design also needs updating. If you don't know, you drive past because you think it's closed. I had dinner there today and yes, you can't expect much from cevapcici with fries for under 10 euros. There's just a lot of fried food on the menu. But if it doesn't look inviting from the outside, what do you expect to cook fresh food there? The hosts were very nice during my visit. So honestly, if you're looking for cheap, clean accommodation and can happily do without comfort, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back!!!

I don't understand why some people give it such a bad review. The room was very simple, but functionally furnished. Everything was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Regarding the friendliness of the owners, I can only say that both were very friendly. Not to mention that they included a very good breakfast with fresh rolls for €8. I would book this hotel again anytime.

What a dump! It smells of smoke everywhere, and the ashtray outside is overflowing. The place is past its prime, just like the couple who run it. The woman is totally grumpy. Nothing is cleaned anyway. Never again.

Okay for the price. But please clean the lamps on the ceiling. There were lots of cobwebs over the lamp in the bedroom. This is immediately noticeable.

Food is good. Owner very nice. Don't understand the other comments. If you book a room for less than 60 euros, you can't expect a Sheraton. These 1 star comments are pathetic. I'll be back👍👍

This hotel is not recommended at all. The toilet in my room was leaking, I immediately informed the owner, but nothing was done. If someone is from the EU or not, they don't have to pay the VAT that is added to the invoice, but they didn't want to accept any of it. We brought this to your attention and said that you could find out more from the tax office, but nothing happened. Yesterday I wanted to take a shower, suddenly there was only a very small amount of water coming out of the tap. I asked if someone had throttled it, then I reported it again, but then the answer was that it wasn't our fault, it would have been throttled by the waterworks or municipal utilities.🙈 😤

Simple accommodation, clean, easily accessible by transport, friendly operator, good breakfast

Unfortunately you really can't give it 1 star more. My room was a storage room with a skylight, and the room smelled terribly musty. That was an imposition.

Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ist in Ordnung. Der Hausherr ist ein sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Aber die Gastwirtin ist unfreundlich und schreit einen ein. Insgesamt gesehen also eher nicht zu empfehlen für einen sorglosen Abend.

Räumliche Trennung Raucher/Nichtraucher müsste besser sein.

Veraltete Einrichtung, Salat zu viel Dressing, aber Schnitzel und Bratkartoffeln super lecker. Wirt sehr nett.
