Actually a great pizzeria with great food but oh man there are so many dogs there it's really annoying when you see dog hair everywhere otherwise great I'll definitely be back!😀

The food was very good, especially the pizzas, which were very large and the casseroles were piping hot. However, the staff aren't particularly attentive, and despite plenty of space, you're seated close together to save walking. I didn't find the ambiance particularly special, especially since you were ushered onto the back terrace, while the terrace with a river view remained empty. At least there's a relatively large amount of free parking, but if the restaurant is full, the available parking spaces are likely to be limited.

We were there on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Just took ice cream and coffee. But the restaurant makes a very nice and well-organized impression. The service was very good and the service was top. Thank you very much, we will definitely be back soon.

Very good food and friendly, attentive service. There were four of us and all the food was served at the same time. I had excellent spaghetti all amatriciana and a small side salad, nice and fresh and crunchy with a very good mustard dressing.

Was here for dinner for the second time now. Despite the queue for the table, everything was well organized, the gentleman at the door had everything in view and was very friendly despite the stress. As was the case on the last visit, the food was very tasty. We'll be back!

So the pizza is very good according to my taste, thin base, good toppings and large. The onion soup with the cheese gratinated toast was awesome... I can only recommend it to everyone if you like it. Just Italian and good. I always go there even if it's not around the corner... Greetings Jürgen

I've been there several times now and it's always tasted very good. Whether pizza or meat dishes, it was always a pleasure! I always enjoy coming here. Nice team and cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately there are a lot of stairs, so it's not wheelchair accessible.

The Pizza Margherita didn't have that much to do with Margherita and pizza. The dough is thin, but the ratio to cheese and tomatoes was bottomless. Bruschetta was also just so-so, the tomatoes had no taste. You can taste that no high-quality products are used. Quantity over quality. The poor service was also overwhelming.

I just ordered spaghetti bolognese here for €12.50! When I opened the bowl in the break room, I thought I was going to be hit. An absolute cheek to sell a children's portion for €12.50. I had to eat extra with bread so that I was somewhat full. Bowl was half empty!!! From now on I will always open beforehand and see what I'm paying. I will definitely never buy or recommend anything here again.

Been there twice with colleagues and everyone was satisfied. Very good pizza, carbonara and salmon and nice team. Reservations for groups always worked out. We'll be back.

We like to come here on the weekend. You can usually get a table spontaneously, as not all tables are reserved. The food is always very tasty and rich. The pizzas in particular are very large. The cake and ice cream are also highly recommended. You sit quite close together, so a star deduction for the ambience. But especially in summer, the terrace with a view of the Rhine is fantastic.

Ordered pizza with extra request (+sheep's cheese). No problem and super delicious. Great place, right on the Rhine ferry. It's just a shame that it wasn't in operation at the time of our visit.

Every week I go there with my family to walk along the Rhine and recharge my batteries. Afterwards we sat down in this restaurant Zur Fähre and treated ourselves to a delicious meal, an ice cream/cake and a coffee. The hotel staff are always polite, respectful and helpful.

Situated just north of the A1 in Köln (Cologne) on the west bank of the Rhein River next to a small passenger and vehicle ferry (no heavy trucks). Access to pathways along both sides of the river (4€ per person on the ferry, bikes, m/c's and cars extra). The restaurant also has outside terraces for drinks and food when the weather is appropriate.

Underground service. Payment terminal for card payments can come to every table, but we have to go in?! Food got wrong, drinks too. The place was 3/4 full but there were more than enough waiters

I've been eating pork schnitzel from the Hallensische Sau for years and it's always a pleasure - and as always, today I went for a walk along the Rhine again and then on the ferry and everything was still delicious and the service was always super friendly

I've been eating there since the restaurant opened. Before that, I was a guest in the owners' other shop every Sunday evening. We are always satisfied and it couldn't be more child-friendly than there! Thank you for your service and for consistently employing such great people.

We were there with six people and dined a la carte. That means six different starters and six different main courses. I can only recommend the greetings from the kitchen. Small slices of white bread that we ate with delicious olive oil and a little salt. Everyone was happy with their chosen starters and there was nothing to complain about when it came to the main courses. The waiter was attentive but not intrusive. Great, we felt comfortable and my guests, who were there for the first time today, want to spend a few nice hours there again in the future. Thanks and keep it up.

Longer waiting time for service to arrive.

The place feels pleasant and delicious. On the banks of the Rhine. But when there were still 4 empty tables, 3 of which were reserved, the last table was given to two people who came after me. Arithmetic. I was asked to leave the cafe. When I asked if I could wait, the waiters simply replied, "Sorry" and turned around. It's quite humiliating, nevertheless, in moments of overload you have to be able to maintain the mark, but all bon appetit.

Beautifully located, top staff, extensive menu. Also a treat in the afternoon, waffles and ice cream are great.

Nice place, nothing exceptionally good, but not bad either. The menu selection is very large. From pasta to pizza to salads to meat, everything is of average quality. Good desserts, waffles, ice cream etc. The good location on the Rhine makes the restaurant special.

My favorite Italian restaurant for years! The ambience is great, especially in the evening! The food always tastes great...whether pizza, pasta, schnitzel, currywurst or salads with homemade dressings. Ice cream… waffles… crepes… cake. Everyone gets something here! Great location right on the Rhine, popular as a destination, fast and friendly service. Good value for money. Because it's so popular, it's better to make a reservation on the weekend, but overall we always found a nice table. 4 stars in the “Food” rating because “it could always be better.

It is beautifully situated on the Rhine as a stop on a bike tour and is a very attractive place for a break. The pizza is perfect, but other dishes are of lower quality for the price. The turkey schnitzel tasted suspiciously like the 10kg carton from Metro Chef and was accordingly dry and tough. Overall completely OK, with about 80% surcharge for the beautiful location. Friendly staff, completely OK as a short stop without high expectations.

Slightly exaggerated, the allocation of space at the entrance in the style of a manor. You expect first class, but you only get standard. The selection of cakes was modest, in terms of quality I would guess Coppenrath & Wiese. The toilets were acceptable!

Visited this restaurant for the first time by invitation. Due to the nice weather that day, we managed to get a place on the terrace with a view of the Rhine even without a reservation. Very attentive and friendly staff as well as our food made our stay fly by like a short vacation. We will definitely come back!! For anyone interested: To be on the safe side, reserve a table in advance, as it is very busy despite it being lunchtime.

Bruschetta was tasty and spicy, Amarena cups were delicious and sharing both was generally no problem at all, cutlery and plates were brought immediately twice. The possibility of sharing was generally very positive: at the neighboring table, a grandpa and his grandson each received half a pizza on a plate to share, another family shared pizza, pasta and bread, and another group shared small things such as salad, pizza rolls, etc. ..really very good and relaxed. Pizza also looks really great. Perfect for a break on a bike ride. However, I recommend making a reservation for the evening, as the tables outside with a view of the Rhine were already completely reserved for the evening. But I really have to do it soon. There is also parking space for cars directly at the ferry. Otherwise bus 121 also ends there.

Unfortunately unprofessional. 3 hours before closing time they say “The kitchen is already closed, we’ve just decided” - what’s that supposed to mean? You take a route and get brushed off. That too on a Sunday. Next time it is advisable to plan your shopping better and take better precautions.

Very nice restaurant located directly on the Rhine. The restaurant offers plenty of cozy places to linger both outside and inside. Even on full days when you can no longer reserve, you can still get a spot. The food and drink selection are large but not confusing. Service and food are definitely recommended. I'd love to come back. Since the Rhine is right next to it, it is also ideal for a nice walk after dinner. There are some parking spaces in front of the door. Depending on the weather it will be a little crowded. Otherwise you can also stand on the grass verge along the country road.

So it couldn't be better... We have now often eaten out in and around Cologne, but the restaurant really impressed us. Price-performance is perfect!!!! The food, the service and the ambience are all tip top! Keep it up dear team!!!
