Zur alten Tischlerei - Getränkeservice und Gaststätte in Vetschau/Spreewald

While looking for a place to eat we ended up at the “Zur Linde” inn. I quickly found something to eat...I ordered a horseradish schnitzel and was so fixated on the horseradish that I missed the XXL in front of it. If you order this schnitzel, you should either be hungry or bring friends with you. The service was super friendly and quick, the food was delicious and the price-performance ratio was great. We were given a card to help us find this gem again.

I have visited many such places in DE, I definitely rate these 5!!

Standing in front of a locked door at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Even though it was supposedly open since 11:30am. Well, you can't rate anything there. But was recommended by the local hotel. Nothing can be done.

We were here with a motorhome, so no accommodation necessary. Lunch was unusually good. Wrong: it was excellent. My father had a small ragout fin, which was very appetizingly served in puff pastry. The dough was handmade. Very good. My wife took the duck breast (rosé and tender) with ravioli (porcini mushroom filling), with something like caviar (probably prepared molecularly) and the other two of us had the wild boar schnitzel with hand-rolled bread dumpling, with a fresh salad and the cranberry jam was not allowed miss. It was great.

It was very tasty, you get large portions at very fair prices. The fried noodles in particular are highly recommended 👍🏻
