The appetizers were incredibly delicious, and the staff were among the friendliest I have ever met!

We were "only" there for dessert and a nightcap, but we felt very comfortable and would happily return for a proper meal. The menu looked very good, as did the dishes that were carried past us, fragrant with aromas. Dogs are allowed. The atmosphere is casual and familiar, with many regulars evidently... and for good reason ;)

The noise level was extremely high. There were four of us, and it was so loud that we had difficulty communicating with each other.

Yesterday, I happened to pass by the restaurant with a friend after hiking. Since it was just about to open, we decided to wait and try it out. We were very pleasantly surprised. The decor is rustic, but has its charm, especially with the many pictures on the walls. The view from the windows is dreamy. The drinks and small appetizers arrived very quickly, and we didn't have to wait long for our main course either. The food was incredibly delicious, so I decided to order dessert as well. That rounded off the visit perfectly. The service was very attentive, fast, and friendly. The prices are a bit on the high side, but the quality was good. I would love to come back on my next vacation!

I've been coming here for a long time now and always look forward to this little culinary getaway in the heart of Aachen. Eating yes, partying no. First of all: You can eat well here. But: Unfortunately, they don't stick to agreements made in advance of a party. Suddenly, the party had to end an hour earlier. Alternatively, the restaurant could be rented for a mere €500 for each additional half hour. That's completely unacceptable! My tip: Put all agreements in writing! Despite having children of his own, the owner doesn't value the little ones much. They just take up space and don't generate any revenue. That kind of attitude is completely unacceptable...

I liked the location because you can sit outside when the weather is nice. The food was a complete disaster. The beetroot carpaccio was sliced ​​way too thick, with raw carrots on top and very little sauce. Also, no feta or garlic. It just lacked pizzazz. The main course was pasta with truffle sauce and steak strips. The small portion for a lot of money tasted very bland, and the steak strips were completely overcooked even though I had asked for them to be served rare. I had to pay €55! It's a shame, but I wouldn't go there for dinner again.

My first visit to the beautiful Soerstal valley was on a Wednesday evening. In beautiful, summery weather, all the tables on the terrace were occupied. Then, my first glance at the menu: the dishes were very limited and run-of-the-mill. When (thankfully) a daily special arrived, I was in for a huge sigh of relief! Now the menu was complete, and everyone found something they liked. The service was impeccable, and everything was served in a pleasant atmosphere. We'll definitely be back...

The food was really delicious and the location of the restaurant is great when the weather is good. However, the prices are quite high. We paid €96 for a starter, two main courses and three non-alcoholic drinks.

We had our grandson's confirmation here 4 years ago celebrated, yesterday that of our granddaughter. Just like everything back then terrific. Very special Thanks to the kitchen and the 2 young ladies who are great for us moderately, not to say affectionately have hosted. Hats off.👍

Das ist ein wirklich rundherum angenehmes Lokal mit kurzer, qualitätvoller Karte, netter Bedienung und viel Atmosphäre. Wir waren dort mehrfach und immer sehr zufreiden, genauso wie, unserem Eindruck nach, auch die anderen Gäste in der vollbesetzten Stube. Das spricht für sich. Die Preise sind nicht niredrig, aber marktüblich und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Good place for food. The atmosphere is cool. Inside there are enough spaces for 20 to 30 people and they have an outside area to sit. Parking is plenty in front of the building. The italian food is okay, not the best I had in Aachen, but for the price its good.

When I entered the restaurant "zum beautiful Soerstal", I wasn't just greeted by a scent - it was an olfactory poem written by the gods themselves. Exquisite is not a word that does justice to this experience; it was the pinnacle of culinary art, the Mona Lisa of the taste buds. The ambience: You immediately feel like you are in a palatial retreat for kings and philosophers. The chairs? Not just pieces of furniture, but throne-like structures made of the finest, hand-woven air. The table? A monument to perfection, smooth as the surface of an alpine lake at dawn. The service: The service? Probably trained at a secret academy where only the select few are allowed to learn, because every handle, every nod, every fork served was an act of pure elegance. Sometimes I had the feeling that the waiters could read my thoughts, my wishes were fulfilled so promptly and precisely, even before I realized them myself. The food: Oh, the food. Words don't do this experience justice, but I'll try anyway. I started with the appetizer, a “light plate” that was so light it almost seemed to float. When the main course, a fillet of bisteca griglia, was served, I was sure that I would never be able to eat anything else again - because anything else would seem like an overcooked shoebox in comparison. The dessert? A symphony of textures. A caramel dream so delicate I'm sure it was created from stardust and the essence of moonlight. As I bit into this decadent splendor, I wasn't sure if I was still in this space or already floating in a higher dimension of happiness. Conclusion: An evening in “zum beautiful Soerstal” is not just a visit to a restaurant – it is a spiritual experience. I will never again be able to settle for something as mundane as a regular loaf of bread or an average soup. Everything in this restaurant was so exquisite that I'm sure I'm now culinary spoiled. I recommend “La Grande Épique” to anyone who is ready to take their taste buds into realms previously only reserved for dreams. Exquisite? No. This was the Olympus of haute cuisine!

The menu promises a lot, but in the end the result is mediocre at best. At most, the names of the dishes were Italian. Frozen vegetables, very salty sauces and soups, overall unimaginative and carelessly prepared. The tagliatelle and the meat are literally drowned in sauce. The goat cheese on the so-called salad was worth looking for. Price performance is not given here. I also go to a restaurant for a little inspiration, but I couldn't find anything here. The ambience is old-fashioned with a bit of a down-to-earth charm. Anyway, the service was nice and attentive. Unfortunately, eight customers were convinced not to come back again. The good reviews were incomprehensible to us and in my opinion were probably partly faked. I noticed that afterwards. He probably had to do something about the bad rating. The owner wanted to contact me afterwards and entertain me free of charge, probably to change my review. I gratefully decline. I would rather recommend fundamentally revising the concept and dealing with criticism constructively. My “Italian tribe” will definitely not be replaced.

Today we visited here for the second time this week A place that tells a story. Simple in ambience but with a high statement. A place that invites you to linger with comfort and warmth and a kitchen that impresses with good products. We were completely happy and satisfied and are looking forward to our next visit. I went to eat there because of the good reviews. Unfortunately it was a complete failure. The toilet was already completely filthy at 5:30 p.m. and it was just being opened. I don't want to go into it any further. The food didn't convince me either. The soup didn't taste like cauliflower and the main course was a block of pasta with sauce. Really not convincing. Never again...

Once again we came to this cozy restaurant with friends one day before the 4th Advent. This time the very friendly chef surprised us with a seasonal starter soup made from chestnuts and a deer carpaccio. DELICIOUS! There were also very tasty main courses. I won't say what. Just try it out for yourself, it's worth it. You can round the whole thing off with one of the desserts, all of which will make your palate beat faster. You will be accompanied by very friendly staff. You can park for free directly in front of the front door. In summer you can also enjoy the very good cuisine on the terrace and/or in the beer garden. When the weather is nice, we recommend exploring the adjacent beaver sanctuary and the Soers.

Dies wurde unprofessionell hingenommen und nur kommentiert: es handele sich schließlich nur um eine Vorspeise. Ja, aber dann bitte nicht zu einem Preis für den man auch in anderen Locations eine richtigen Salatteller erhält oder eine Pasta. Leider fühlten wir uns nicht Ernst genommen, ganz im Gegenteil hatten wir das Gefühl, man wollte uns so schnell wie möglich rausdrängen. Wir saßen aber erst eine knappe Stunde dort. Bitte erwähnen sie gegenüber den Gästen, dass es für Gäste nur ein Zeitfenster gibt, dann kann man sich vorher überlegen, ob man dann dort Essen geht oder doch woanders. Wir werden dort nicht mehr Essen gehen und können es auch nicht empfehlen.

We visit our regular Italian restaurant again and again and feel at home there. The food is always fresh and incredibly tasty. The appetizer platter in particular is one of our favorites - it's an absolute must! The atmosphere is great, you can immediately tell that a lot of heart is being put into the work here. The service is excellent and the team is always friendly and accommodating, making every visit a special experience. Absolutely recommended!

Some of the food could also be a little more creatively prepared for my taste because, as we all know, the eye eats too 😉 Recommended are the pasta dishes (especially with truffles or mushrooms if you like it), steaks, corn-fed chicken, and starters in general. Not exactly cheap in terms of price but I think it's ok - shared starter + main course + 2 apple spritzers + 1 0.2 glass of wine = approx. 40/45 euros but a nice break with delicious food

Wir haben mit über 20 Personen 3-4 Wochen vorher reserviert und die Bestellung im Vorfeld aufgegeben, damit es die Küche leichter hat. Leider wurden die Preise wenige Tage vor unserem Abendessen um ca. 15% angehoben. Den höheren Preis mussten wir bezahlen, es gab keine Kulanz. Die Vorspeisenplatten waren sehr teuer. Eine Person ist erkrankt und wir mussten das Essen trotzdem abnehmen und bezahlen. Die Speisen waren leider nur befriedigend und mit unserer großen Gruppe fühlten wir uns nicht sehr willkommen.

Wir waren mit 17 Personen im „Wohnzimmer“ (so wird der separate Raum genannt) und hatten eine perfekte Feier. Dekoration, Bedienung, Essen (hatten wir vorab ausgewählt) und die Getränke waren super. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen

OK für einen kurzen Stopp. Das Essen ist mittelmäßig. Wir haben etwas mehr erwartet. Leider keine Fotos gemacht. Optisch aber schön angerichtet. Leider stimmte die Rechnung am Ende auch nicht. Einer von uns bestellte zum Essen einen Primitovo. Auf der Rechnung erschienen aber zwei Gläser Wein. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es ein 0,2l Primitovo war und deshalb der doppelte Preis berechnet wurde. Meiner Meinung nach sollte man vorab darüber informiert werden, was leider nicht so gewesen ist. Sorry, leider kommen wir nicht mehr wieder.👎

Wir haben hier den Geburtstag meiner Eltern gefeiert. Der Inhaber Daljit und sein tolles Team aus jungen, motivierten, immer freundlichen Köchen und Servicekräften haben uns einen wunderbaren Tag beschert. Das Essen war fantastisch, der Service immer auf Zack und auch auf spontane Wünsche und kleine Änderungen wurde immer offen reagiert und alles möglich gemacht. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, sehr nettes Ambiente. Es gibt eine Speisekarte, empfehlenswert sind jedoch auch die an der Theke angeschriebenen Tagesgerichte. Eine Tischreservierung kann nicht schaden. Parkplätze sind direkt vor der Türe, eine Terrasse ist vorhanden.

Ich gehe hier schon seit Jahren regelmäßig hin, und bin noch nie unzufrieden nach Hause gegangen. Die Trüffel Pasta ist der Hammer und meiner Meinung nach kommt kaum ein Restaurant an den Geschmack auch nur annähernd dran. Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen.

Der Rezension eines Vorgängers kann ich nur entgegen. Er hätte wohlmöglich seine Energie / Kritik besser direkt vorort einbringen können, anstatt hinterher zu karten. Das ganze Team des Soerstal macht seit Jahren einen wirklich prima Job, besonders seit Du, lieber Daljit, die Leitung übernommen hast. Und wenn wirklich mal was nicht ganz perfekt ist sind alle bemüht es freundlich nach zu bessern. Dafür grossen Respekt und vielen lieben Dank. Alles Gute weiterhin . Der Meinung von db können wir nur Unterstützen! Ich denke dass ich als auch andere Stammgäste sich durch die Rezension des Herrn Mainz sehr beleidigt fühlen. Meine Familie und ich sind sehr zufrieden und kommen immer wieder gerne.

Die Rezension von dem enttäuschten Herrn Dieter Mainz (siehe unten) sollte man nicht unbeantwortet lassen: Ich bin regelmäßiger Gast in diesem schönen Restaurant, sehr oft mit meiner Partnerin und oft mit Freunden in größeren Gruppen. Wir genießen das gute Essen, einen freundlichen, aufmerksamen Service, den charmanten Wirt und die gepflegte Atmosphäre. Leider muss ich nun feststellen, dass ich, wie eine Unzahl, anderer, zufriedener Gäste, zu einer qualifizierten Beurteilung vollkommen unfähig bin. Zumindest nach Auffassung von Herrn Mainz. Nach seiner Meinung ist dieser selbsternannte Restaurantkritiker ja wohl der Einzige, der zu einer kompetenten Kritik in der Lage ist und alle anderen ernähren sich von Dosen-Ravioli. Eine Frechheit anderen Gästen gegenüber, man bezeichnet so etwas als Anmaßung! Meine Meinung: Entweder schreibt hier die Konkurrenz, und er war niemals da, (falls doch, hoffe ich, er macht seine Ankündigung wahr, nie wieder zu kommen) oder aber es handelt sich um einen ignoranten Meckerer!

Huhu ich mal wieder. Wir waren jetzt mehrmals im schönen Soerstal essen. Ich muss zugeben immer nur die Lasagne. Aber die schmeckt super und mit 13,50 Euro ein prima Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Der Service ist prima. Wir können nur sagen weiter so. Und dem essen der anderen auf den Tellern zu urteilen gibt es auch gute Steaks. Es ist immer gut besucht, ich empfehle einen Tisch zu reservieren besonders bei Veranstaltungen wie chio

Im Vergleich zu früher ist das Soerstal jetzt sowohl kulinarisch als auch von der Bedienung eine Katastrophe. Eine offensichtlich ungelernte Kraft, die versuchte lustig zu sein und uns dauernd Getränke und Essen abnahm, welche noch nicht leer oder zu Ende gegessen waren, gehen gar nicht. Auch die Kreationen , die uns aufgetischt wurden, hatten mit der Qualität, die man von früher gewohnt war, nicht im geringsten zu tun. Wir waren wohl das letzte Mal dort und die Freunde, die uns begleitet haben, auch. Wir sind aufgrund der guten Erfahrungen von früher dorthin gegangen. Es war ein prämiertes und ausgezeichnetes Lokal. Leute, die hier vier oder fünf Sterne vergeben essen wohl sonst nur Ravioli aus der Dose ist mir vollkommen schleierhaft, was diese Menschen sich bei einer solchen Bewertung denken oder sie sind gekauft! Und mit einem Familienbetrieb hat dieser Laden gar nichts mehr zu tun! Wir kennen die Geschichte. Also bitte?! Sehr schade für die schöne Location.

Sehr leckeres Essen und ein wirklich super gastfreundlicher Koch und Kellner. Man kann sehr schön außen sitzen und der Service war sehr schnell. Hier merkt man dass es ein Familienbetrieb ist und mit Leidenschaft gekocht und bewirtet wird.
