Great for a quick bite to eat and drink. Atmosphere is okay and could perhaps be improved a bit. Wooden chairs are not comfortable.

Drinks and food in this location are very well coordinated. The white sausages are recommended 🍻👏🏻

I have been a loyal guest of the Restaurant zum Santa for many years and look forward to warm hospitality and wonderful cuisine every time I visit.

We wanted to eat something in downtown Rosenheim, and a lucky coincidence took us to "Santa". We sat in the covered courtyard, pleasantly heated. We found a very extensive menu, the food we ordered (pumpkin risotto, vegetarian curry) was beautifully presented, very extensive and extremely tasty. The service also left absolutely nothing to be desired, the staff was very friendly and attentive. It doesn't actually get any better - a clear recommendation from me.

Were there for dinner. After almost an hour of waiting, the food arrived... anticipation and then horror... The food was...not good, so I wouldn't say inedible. Everything was too salty and although we had two different dishes, nothing tasted good. They couldn't have asked themselves whether we liked it, the plates were full. We paid and left disappointed and hungry. (It was also expensive.) I can't understand the good reviews. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDATION! Ambience quite nice, service a bit overwhelmed but still nice. But when it comes to eating, I can advise against it.

I love reading at the center. It was raining outside and I sat down at a table in this bar. No waiter came for almost an hour, then a man came and asked me to leave. I said I could place an order but they just threw me out. Very unfriendly. Sad.

Very warm-hearted boss, constantly changing menus, in the middle of the city, the dishes are delicious and absolutely reasonable in terms of price. There is plenty of seating outside. We always enjoy coming here. The atmosphere in the covered courtyard is modern and very cozy. There were fresh flowers on every table and it was very nicely decorated. It could have been a bit warmer, but it wasn't exactly freezing yet. There is a large wine list and the menu also has something for young and old. Unfortunately the food (burger roll + patty and napkin dumplings) tasted very dry and some of the capaccio was still slightly frozen. The price range went from robber plate obolus to normal pizza to specialties.

Beautiful inn in the heart of Rosenheim with very tasty food. On top of that, not only the schnitzel, the pumpkin soup and the pumpkin ravioli, but also the wine recommendation were really excellent. It's a shame that there was no room for the advertised Kaiserschmarrn anymore.

I would particularly like to highlight the expert advice from the staff, who have a lot of passion and knowledge. The food is an absolute pleasure - the dishes are lovingly prepared and harmonize perfectly with the wines. Every bite was a taste experience! I can only warmly recommend the Weinhaus zum Santa. A place that you should definitely visit when you are in Rosenheim. Five stars from me! ❤️🤩

Maybe I was just unlucky, But since I love burgers, I can see the burger I tried to eat today as a disgrace that should never be called "burger". The cheeseburger was the worst I've ever had. The homemade bread roll was lukewarm and not fully baked. The meat was cold (no need to say more). The cocktail sauce was good but almost non-existent in the burger. The salad was good. (But it would also be unbelievable if it were bad) The onions were a little overdone. The only good thing I was able to enjoy were the rosemary potatoes. [I couldn't find any chedar cheese on my burger.] I could only eat half of the burger until the burger made me sick. Points rating: Cheeseburger (5/100): You've tried the homemade buns but you should skip it and order them from a bakery. Rosemary potatoes (90/100): The potatoes were good as mentioned above. Service (90/100): The service was quick and nice. TLDR: the service was good but the burger was shit (the bad burger neutralizes everything good). Won't come back.

Were very rudely turned away today by a young waiter. He decides who he gives a seat to! Afterwards, the free space was apparently given away. I find it very rude to turn away the guests in such an unfriendly manner and give others a space I definitely won't eat there again Opposite the Stockhammer we were warmly welcomed and given a place in the inn. Super delicious food and nice service

The two of us sat at the table (outside) for about 10 minutes until a waiter (or maybe not) came over. When we asked if we could order something to drink, he said he wasn't responsible. After speaking to us several times, a second waiter acknowledged us. The only answer to our question was: “we are no longer accepting guests”. When we asked if he was serious, he answered very unfriendly and curtly with a “yes” and walked away. Our next table also wanted to order, but he didn't talk to them at all, just ignored them until they left too. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED 👎👎👎

Die zentrale Lage und das schöne Ambiente fallen zuerst auf, dazu sind sämtliche Servicemitarbeiter ausgesucht freundlich. Die Karte biete abwechslungsreiche Bistroküche mit saisonalen Tagesgerichten- alles gut zubereitet und schmackhaft. Man kann zwischen einer reichen Auswahl an Drinks wählen, dazu gut gezapfte Biere und passende Weine, viele davon offen. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, die vielen Stammgäste sind der Beweis für die gute Qualität.

I ordered pork fillets and received 2 approximately 3 mm thick square slices (10x10cm) that were burnt on the edges and completely fried. It is doubtful whether these were fillets. The spaetzle was good and the sauce was also sufficient. Not acceptable for €19.90. Preparing meat with the slicer seems to be the order of the day because the person sitting opposite me got a schnitzel that was also only about 3 - 4 mm thick. Yes, the breading does it. You get the feeling that you are being ripped off here.

We were often at Santa, a very good location in the past. After a long time this afternoon again - just something small from the menu: Earl Gray tea, Festo latte (vanilla syrup, milk, espresso and ice - cold drink) and tiramisu - we had everything exactly as it was without any objection "... it's over, please choose something else”. First came a Darjeeling tea, complaint: “we only have one tea, we don't have Earl Gray”. The Festo Latte was without vanilla syrup, people's eyes widened in amazement at the complaint and then very self-confidently "We don't have any vanilla syrup, we always do it like that". The hit was the tiramisu: a cup full of buttercream and a small piece of ladyfingers in the middle, a declaration of poverty for an Italian-style restaurant. In summary - not recommended, only the heaters on the ceiling add some atmosphere.

Super tasty meal (the Tafelspitz is actually one) with broth and potato salad that was a little too sour for me, but with carrots/celery tips. The Swiss sausage salad is awesome and lives up to its name “sausage”.

It's really great to sit outside in the summer and drink a cocktail. We've had one or two family celebrations here and have always been very excited. All wishes are taken into account and all of our guests were very satisfied. We love visiting Santa, whether with family or friends, every visit is worth it.

I had just sat at Santa's table with my wife for about 15 minutes. One person brings drinks to the tables so professionally that you can be happy that everything arrives at the table safely. A waiter, completely sweaty (but certainly not from work), runs through the tables into the restaurant with an equally haphazard service, but is unable to clear away the dishes from the next table, which have also been there for 15 minutes, nor to take an order. You can completely forget about this store. Absolutely underground.

Food is good. Solid. I would say 4.5 stars. But the watery espresso was deducted again (cup at most 2/3 full would be good). But the service was noticeably bad. One of the waiters is on first name terms with the guests (I can't say the same for the others). We don't know each other and we're not friends. And the way the service was, we won't either. There are a few basic rules for operation. And that means taking a look around before you go back to the kitchen. You either take an order with you or empty dishes, but you don't run empty. And even if you are not responsible for the table, you signal to the guest that you have seen it and inform your colleague. The waiters here don't see anything. They just don't look. Not at all. To no one in any way. If you want to order a new drink in between, you can expect to wait 10 minutes and wave at least 5 times. It's not enough to speak up, you have to make your presence felt. Or just get up and walk over.

I recommend the fresh, mixed salad. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality offered at €15-30 per person. Overall, a great classic Bavarian restaurant that I can warmly recommend.

We wanted to show our visitors from FFM and Hanover the city of Rosenheim, so we stopped by for a nice cocktail and beer at Santa's at half past four - at 5 p.m. we were asked how long we were staying, our table was needed. Half the garden was empty, there was no word that we could move to another table. He doesn't argue with us. We were literally thrown out by these unfriendly waiters. What a disgrace before our visit. We always enjoyed coming here and always got things done well. We definitely won't come again. Greetings to the landlady Jasmin, it's a shame, but something like that doesn't work.

Tourist bar that thrives on its location on Max-Josephs-Platz. It took over 20 minutes from the time we ordered until our drinks were served. I was asked to go into the restaurant to pay with a card because the technology outside failed...

Wollten nur eine kleine Mittagspause machen und waren überrascht, dass wir mit den gut angerichteten Vorspeisen mehr als reichlich versorgt wurden. Getränke passten auch und die freundliche, lockere Bedienung hat es gut abgerundet. Wir haben deutlich mehr bekommen, als wir an diesem touristischen Punkt erwartet hatten.

Welcome to the 21st century! Cash payments are now being significantly reduced everywhere; even every medium-sized bakery now allows card payments for small amounts. Not so at Weinhaus Santa! When paying, the waiter brusquely points out that card payments have only been possible for orders over €50 for a few weeks now. Such a backward-looking philosophy does not meet the demands of a modern and contemporary service society!

The food was of a high standard and the first waiter was relatively friendly. However, there was a second waiter who probably couldn't really hear and make a final assessment of some important things due to the loud noise. Since he had nothing better to do than to lecture me morally as a guest, I have to clearly express my displeasure with a wise-cracking and much too young waiter. As a guest you probably deserve a certain discrepancy and respect, or something like that is usually a given. This behavior doesn't work at all.

They're quite nice, as is the ambience, but the food is a drama. I had rolls and additional potato salad. My friend had the veal liver. My roll was far too tough and dry and the napkin dumpling was leathery and dry. Both of our sauces tasted the same. Neither of us finished it. Plus one and a half wheat beer and a water for €56. Conclusion: I would rather go to other restaurants where the food is tasty, then the price is justified.

Der erste Eindruck ist" oh schön" mit dem Wintergarten zum sitzen. Der Service ist sehr nett. Wir haben uns für das Wammerl entschieden zu essen. Es war sehr knusprig und nicht fett. Eine Scheibe war jetzt nicht viel. Die zwei kleinen Serviettenknödel sehr trocken , da sie noch mal in der Pfanne gebraten wurden. Es war ok , aber nichts besonderes. Ein Beilagensalat für 6 € ist mir zuviel Geld.

Ci siamo stati per pranzo. Il locale non era particolarmente affollato e ci siamo seduti nella parte interna. Abbiamo preso due piatti a base di carne. Il mio, un piatto di messo di vitello servito con insalata di patate non era male, lo riprenderei. Il piatto scelto da mia moglie, a base di carne di maiale, era palesemente cotto in precedenza e riscaldato in forno in modo tale da renderlo molto secco e poco piacevole. Anche il canederlo a fette servito come accompagnamento non era un gran che’. Personale non particolarmente gentile.

Sehr nette Leute, die in einer stilvoll aus alt und neu gestrickten Architektur arbeiten können. Der moderne Teil ist vielleicht n bissel hallig, was aber den Genuss der "leckersten Kürbissuppe ever" nicht schmälern konnte. Wenn jetzt noch ein für den Frankreich Liebhaber unentbehrlicher guter Pastis auf der Karte stünde - das Glück in einer Oase des Mediterranen in Bayern wäre perfekt. Aber der Grüne Veltliner war prächtig. Da ist die Grenze halt näher.

Wir waren heute zum Abendessen im Santa und waren mit der Qualität des Essens leider nicht zufrieden. Schon bei Bestellung konnte der recht wortkarge und unfreundliche Kellner nicht erklären welcher Ziegenkäse verwendet wird. Einfach normaler Ziegenkäse war seine fachmännische Antwort. Ob nun Frischkäse, Camembert oder Hartkäse war nicht rauszufinden. Der Kürbisflammkuchen kam dann extrem trocken und bröselig an. Bei Reklamation nahm der Kellner wortlos den Teller mit. Die sehr nette Köchin/ Chefin kam dann extra raus um Alternativen anzubieten. Alles in allem, wir kommen nicht mehr, Essen gehen muss ein Erlebnis sein und dazu gehört ein zuvorkommender Service und hervorragendes Essen.
