We ate with the Schlemmerblock, which was probably a mistake. The turkey schnitzel in size m price 16.90 euros was indistinguishable from the children's schnitzel 7.90. The salmon for a whopping 18.90 on the plate with a potato cut into wedges was really something to laugh about if you felt like it. When I asked the boss whether these were gourmet block portions, the answer was "these are our portions, you can't get them bigger anywhere these days." The food was brought without cutlery which you then fetched yourself and the side salad only came when asked. The taste of the food wasn't great either. I really can't recommend this place.

Very, very nice there, the meat tastes really good and the atmosphere is nice with the airfield for sports and sailing planes!! You can definitely go there at any time. I discovered it through a gourmet block and will definitely come back 😋

Since the change of ownership there has been an absolute decline in quality. We were there with 3 people on August 28th. eat there. 2 schnitzels were burnt and the propeller plate was swimming in grease. Each of the 3 sauces came out of the bag. This was more than obvious visually and in terms of taste. The spaetzle without any seasoning, the fries are bone hard. Actually, I would have let everything go back, things can go wrong, but with ready-made sauces in a restaurant you don't need to bother. Only the quantity was okay (no oversize ordered). Service was initially good, but after a short time it deteriorated significantly. The atmosphere with the runway in front of you is actually great. If it weren't for the mess in the pavilion where it feels like everything is standing around and some of the Christmas lights and decorations are still outside. Paying over €70 for 3 dishes of the above-mentioned quality and 5 Cola Zero is disproportionate. When we left the restaurant via the back entrance (from the terrace to the airport apron), the kitchen staff were playing around on their feet in front of the entrance to the kitchen by doing pedicures... very appetizing.

Pepperoni with sauce, cordon bleu, lumberjack steak and cheese spaetzle. Everything recommended. There is something for every taste including 8 Indian dishes.

I had an XL schnitzel But that was a normal little schnitzel I'm actually not used to it here We didn't get a knife or fork either. We had to get it ourselves. Luckily I don't have to go there anymore. Ambiance, I have to say, is very good.

There is a video channel called BeardMeatsFood where videos are published in which the channel operator accepts challenges. The man may come from England, but he's up to mischief all over the world. He also came here for an episode. The food looked good there, so I wanted to go there. I didn't do the challenge, but I had a Bolognese schnitzel with potato wedges and my friend had one with fries. I'm the normal size, he's XL. The side salad was average, but the schnitzel was excellent. The espresso afterwards was nothing special. It took 20 minutes between sitting down and getting the food, which I think is good. The service was good and unobtrusive. In total I paid €65 for both of us including drinks and tips, which for me is good value for money. I will definitely take on the 40 km from Darmstadt again. There were other things on the menu that I would like to try.

The ambience takes some getting used to. What I noticed when I came in was a strange smell. I couldn't define this one. My cordon bleu was good, but the sauce or something else was spicy. Here you have to be careful with children or people if they don't like spicy. All in all it was okay for the money (3 wheat and cordonbleu for 28€). Of course you can't expect gourmet cuisine. Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired during our visit today (08/17/24). You weren't asked if you wanted something to drink or how the food tasted. When we wanted to take the rest with us, we were given a cardboard box on the table and were allowed to pack the food ourselves.

I used to go there quite often, the food was really great, since the ownership changed I don't go there anymore. Why do you even ask the guests how it tasted if no one is interested anyway? I really wonder...

A cool beer garden in beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, delicious food, large portions. Lots of space to sit outside, which is very good in summer.

Nice place for a short stopover. The service worked, there was a lot of choice on the menu, the mozzarella sticks were very tasty (even though they were frozen), the prices were absolutely right.

Four of us went there for dinner today (August 10th, 2024). Three out of four orders came to the table. In two of the orders the supplement that was requested was not delivered. The fourth meal was ordered again and was not delivered to the table even after another 45 minutes of waiting. Unfortunately, the food there has also decreased significantly. The attention of the waiters too. We won't eat there again and certainly won't recommend it to others.

Very bad and unfriendly service. The change of order is requested twice by the service and is then brought to the table incorrectly. There were 4 people who completely forgot one meal and then waited for over half an hour and the 4th meal still didn't come. No apology or anything. Cheeky and then the missing food on the bill.

It was over 30 degrees and despite reservations we got a table inside. Food was okay, but I remember the XL being bigger. The waitresses weren't very attentive and could have delivered more drinks.

Delicious food, cold drinks, well cared for. Great for those with a big appetite. We ate outside on the terrace while watching planes take off or land. Contributes well to the atmosphere. Staff very friendly, even waited a while because I was filming a plane and he wouldn't walk through the screen. It's a shame it's so far away from where I live, otherwise I would eat there more often!

We had dinner here with the family. The food was delicious and we are at peace. We will be back.

Food is cheap and you can taste it too. The sauces on the schnitzels are bad. The lettuce had brown spots.

Mega large portions, unfortunately they increased the price a little, but everything is still within reasonable limits and has become more expensive everywhere anyway. A special highlight is that you can watch the small aircraft take off and land here, especially on weekends.

We've been to the Propeller several times now and weren't very impressed with the schnitzel. However, if you like large portions, you can get everything your heart desires here. We have now become fixated on the rump steak and were here again quite late last night around 9 p.m. to eat a decent steak. We both ordered a 400g rump steak with onions and herbs, with fries and a starter salad. It came quite quickly and was surprisingly tasty! The dressing was delicately seasoned, we didn't expect that at all, delicious! And the steak was also completely convincing. I ordered rare, my buddy ordered medium. Both fried to perfection. Tender, tasty, perfect onions that were very well seasoned and not overly seasoned. Everything was very harmonious and tasty, which surprised us a lot, as we've had not-so-tasty dishes here before. Everything was perfect this evening. Very attentive and friendly service. Drinks nice and chilled and a really delicious and sumptuous main course in which everything went perfectly. That's how it should be. We'll be back and enjoyed the sunset.

Edit: Some dishes have changed under the new ownership. Actually logical, but as a regular guest it's a shame. The mega currywurst is now available in beef or pork (at least pork is completely different than before) and the sauce now tastes different too. The food is good to very good, a great selection on the menu and the price-performance ratio is really impressive, especially since 2020 and compared to other locations. We come back regularly despite being 50km away.

The Propeller itself is a really nice place. When the weather is nice you can sit outside and watch the planes. Unfortunately, that was for the best. Waited almost 15 minutes for the drinks in the oppressive heat. I ordered a rump steak with fried potatoes instead of fries. Unfortunately, rump steak was English instead of medium. My companion also wanted some sauce with the bread. Every little extra request was mercilessly paid for. If I order fried potatoes INSTEAD of fries and then I'm charged for them, that's just outrageous. I would still have understood it if I had gotten both. Normally I tip generously, I don't give a cent for bean counters, sorry. Good ambience, mediocre food, poor service.

We were treated very unfriendly there because we had to register the gourmet block at the counter beforehand. This is also written on a sign in the entrance area. Two people ate there today and both had normal schnitzel dishes. The size is absolutely sufficient. The prices are good too. Since the weather was nice, we sat on the terrace which was very nice. We ordered a shared starter, which unfortunately was brought right before the main course. The taste of the food was okay but nothing special. The service staff was friendly and attentive. They asked if you would like something to drink. However, no feedback could be given. Toilets are in urgent need of renovation and the general appearance should also be improved.

Very tasty food at reasonable prices

So the drink (Cola) was warm. That doesn't work at all. Food was the last thing, my cream schnitzel, the cream sauce with red wine was just disgusting. The onion schnitzel from the mother-in-law was almost all raw and the gravy we ordered with it was also cooked with red wine and paprika so it was also disgusting. And finally, the children's fish fingers were a very small portion and my son's nuggets were totally salty. Once and never again.

Unfortunately not recommended. There was a piece of plastic packaging in my wife's food. Nothing special in terms of taste, pre-bought fries and potato wedges. The champion room sauce with canned mushrooms and too much chili in it so my wife couldn't eat it. The ambience is getting old and a bit dusty. Conclusion I won't go there again and can't recommend it to anyone.

Went to the Propeller in Worms for dinner again after a long time. The food was a disaster. I had a tomahawk steak, the meat was fried and was still floating in oil on the plate. Enjoyment is something different. The complaint was dismissed with a smile. We won't go there again and won't recommend it to others. I had to give one star but very reluctantly.

We were there a week ago. And afterwards we all had gastrointestinal problems. The pepperoni was served with dry rolls instead of baguette as it was actually on the menu. The meat was too strongly seasoned. The salad consisted of 3 leaves of lettuce a spoonful Carrots and beans. Overall, everything was very unloving. And the furnishings and floors might need to be replaced. Compared to before, things have deteriorated a lot.

If you don't go there, it's your own fault.

Great! If you go there often and know the people there, you can get a free meal every now and then. This is of course particularly good for plane spotters and young pilots. Can only be recommended.

We had been there again for a long time because the previous owner passed away. But I can't complain, the food is great, super friendly staff.

We love the restaurant. The food tastes great. You are always warmly welcomed by the boss. The entire staff is very friendly. We've been coming here to eat since day one. That's about 15 years now. Christmas, New Year's Eve, birthdays and in between too. The portions are great too. You always get full :) Addendum May 2024: we still like coming here. There are new owners though. But the menu is almost identical to the old one and the food still tastes great.

We simply weren't served at all. The waitresses walked past our table several times. After 15 minutes without being noticed at all, we left the restaurant again. During this time, the tables next to us were already being served, even though the guests arrived after us. At the next table there was probably some trouble with the gourmet block that couldn't be redeemed...

We had dinner here today. The many bad reviews made us think at first, but then we wanted to form our own opinion and are very happy about it. Our food was very tasty and, above all, rich. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. Since I wasn't expecting such a large portion, I had a starter first. I could only eat half of my cordon bleu and got it wrapped up. Afterwards a man, probably the boss, came and asked if everything was OK with my food. I should please let me know if something wasn't ok so that they can make it better. I've never experienced that before. But without being intrusive, very friendly. We will be back definitely. Regarding the ambience, it is comparable to a club restaurant and not a posh restaurant. But we knew that beforehand. But everything was clean and that is the most important thing for us

This pretty restaurant is located directly at the airport - planes taking off and landing included! The food portions are more than sufficient. Very good Price-performance ratio! Had "El Greco" - very nicely done!! All the other schnitzels I saw were similar in size! Class! There are also Indian dishes! But I'll do that next time I visit. Reserve a spot in the evening!!!

Hard to believe! What we experienced! We had a gourmet block which we also showed to the service staff. After eating we wanted to pay, the gourmet block was refused and we had to show it at the counter. Unfortunately, the service person who took the order was already out. The boss threatened us with the police if we didn't pay the entire amount. He called us liars!!! After a long wait, the gourmet block was deducted from the bill. If you don't want to take part in the gourmet block, then you shouldn't register. It looks like they just want to attract guests!

The food was ok, the service less so. Our waiter's black apron was so dirty that we wanted to leave straight away. There were used glasses everywhere. Absolutely not inviting. The ambience...well, it's more of a takeaway style. So if you want to look beautiful, you're in the wrong place! It's actually a shame, there are opportunities to make the restaurant a special place.

Went to the propeller again this year after a long time. We decided on 1x Bombay turkey schnitzel and the Madagascar steak (a pepper sauce) with baked/grilled pepperoni as a starter. Since we both like it when it is well seasoned, we enjoyed it very much. (Indian cuisine) By the way, my personal highlight and recommendation would be “the dirt chip”. Thank you, see you again soon

Today we had a family dinner with good friends!!! The food was great and more than enough to eat!! The atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly and professional!!! All in all I can only say the best for this restaurant. delicious

The food was really good. At the beginning I was worried because it was an XL restaurant. But I was taught a lesson. It was really good. I will go there more often. The waitresses were all very friendly and even though it was full (please reserve in advance) it went very quickly.

The salad came before the drinks, not because the drinks took long, but because the salad came right after I ordered. That's just the concept: quantity instead of class. Not that the food was bad, but schnitzels from the deep fryer aren't for everyone. If you want a lot of meat quickly, this is definitely the place for you. Salad and fries were OK. It only took 30 minutes from getting to the parking lot to wiping my mouth. I think that says it all.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Even though we hadn't booked in advance, a table was made available for us. Unfortunately the food wasn't that great. The meat was of very poor quality and appeared to be pressed meat. The fries were very over-seasoned with fries seasoning. A salt shaker on the table would have been more efficient here. Only the salad was fresh and good. However, I would have wished that the waitress had asked whether you would prefer the salad with vinegar and oil or with mayo. The food is too expensive due to the lack of quality. There are much better places in Worms. All in all, not recommended in our opinion.

Cheap and good, each schnitzel with a side dish costs about 11 euros..great side salad and generous portions at fair prices...schnitzel in many variations and crispy fries..next time we'll also try the Indian cuisine at the Propeller!! I was more excited than I had been for a long time...
