The food was good, we didn't have to wait long and the service was very attentive.

Very tasty and plentiful food at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff. The young and friendly lady who brought me my forgotten jacket to the parking lot gets six out of five stars.

Highly recommended. The designated paid parking is managed by the restaurant owner, so parking is free. The food is super fresh and plentiful. We'd be happy to come back.

I've been a regular customer for over 10 years, but today was the last time I ate at Propeller. Apparently, the owner changed hands or something. They only serve cheap frozen food. The schnitzel is an insult to call it schnitzel, and the cordon bleu is a joke. If you order an XL, you get two instead of one of those disgusting frozen schnitzels or cordon bleu. You have to download a dubious app to pay the parking fee, and they no longer accept card payments!!! I absolutely recommend not eating here again; it'll save you the disappointment... a real shame, I'd gladly give it negative stars!

Very solid, large portions, the food tastes good, and I think it's good value for money. The atmosphere outside was very nice, right by the airport, perfect for watching the planes. Service was okay.

So if I order a gypsy schnitzel, I should NOT get a schnitzel with celery and celery sauce (not a single piece of bell pepper in sight). Two servers confirmed that THIS is a gypsy schnitzel. My schnitzel was in the pan too long, meaning it was black on the bottom and therefore hard. (This has failed 3 out of 5 times.) They didn't even attempt to "salvage" the situation with any kind of offer or replacement. This was the first/last time.

We've eaten here several times. Last time, the food wasn't as good as before. Today we went back to see how it tasted. One drink was wrong, and the food: large portions, but overall it tasted absolutely terrible. The mushroom sauce was really disgusting, the cream sauce was not good at all, and the turkey fillet was poor quality. The turkey schnitzel also tasted very much like it had come from a deep fryer. The parking lot is now private and will have to be paid for starting September 1, 2025. Unfortunately, after so many years, we won't be coming back. Not a chance!

At this restaurant, you can sit outside in the beer garden when the weather is nice. There are plenty of seating options inside. The menu and seasonal specials are very extensive. We chose the starter and main course. Pepperoni with sauce. Rump steak with fried potatoes. Salad with beef strips. The portions are large. The salad was mildly seasoned. What I noticed on my last visit is a new sign in the parking lot.

As a local restaurateur at my home base, this gets full marks, even after the change. Very good steaks and curries, even if the XXL format isn't my thing. Update: To keep a few more euros in his pocket, the airfield's tenant has recently started charging hefty parking fees, despite never having a shortage of parking space. Sorry for you, but that's it for me. My additional visits will be numbered :(

We went there for lunch on a weekday Tuesday. After ordering, we had to wait an hour and 20 minutes for our food, and we had to ask three times. A man at the table behind us came, ordered his food, and received it after 20 minutes. It was the same dish one of our table had. Starting at 1:09, they charge for parking. If you have to wait over 60 minutes for your food, the parking fee adds up considerably. The food tasted absolutely fine.

We arrived...then waited about 30 minutes. A waiter finally came to the table to take our drinks. Then we ordered the appetizer and main course at the same time. The drinks took almost 45 minutes to arrive at our table. The waiter also brought the wrong drinks, twice in a row. The salad arrived before the drinks, which we found unacceptable. The main course took over an hour—terrible service. The schnitzel was burnt. The pepperoni appetizer was completely oversalted. Not to mention the wine spritzer, which wasn't mixed properly. The Bolognese schnitzel sauce was freezing cold. The waiter came to our table twice again with the wrong food. They denied that the pepperoni was oversalted, which I found absolutely outrageous. And to top it all off, charging €55.60 for two main courses, one starter, and two drinks was still acceptable. I gave him a €100 note and he said he wanted a tip too. I always tip, but not for very bad service and dissatisfaction. That was my last time there. They also need to improve the ambience outside with the tables and chairs in the back. It's really brutal sitting on the chairs. When I get up with severe back pain and leave straight away...

First of all, apparently, parking in front of the restaurant, in the middle of nowhere, is now charged. Apparently, it's more of an additional source of income. The service is intrusive. The schnitzels are pre-made, thin, and heavily breaded. My wife's Indian dish, on the other hand, was quite good. It's no comparison to the old Propeller; the idea here is to maximize profits with minimal use of materials.

The restaurant is located right at the airfield, just a few meters from the runway – a real highlight! While you eat or enjoy a drink, you can watch the small planes take off and land. It's an absolutely thrilling experience for aircraft enthusiasts and families with children, as the planes pass by at such close range. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff friendly, and the view simply unbeatable. Perfect for an outing where good food and entertainment are guaranteed.

Since the change of ownership, there have been many new dishes. It's definitely worth checking the website, as there may be special offers on certain days. Unfortunately, the previously free parking space in front of the restaurant has resulted in additional charges since the introduction of camera surveillance by EASY Park.

The food is okay, but the schnitzels are unfortunately pre-made and just reheated in a deep fryer. The service was friendly and nice, but they could have asked if you wanted anything else. The furniture on the terrace is showing its age and could use some updating, especially the tablecloths. The cluttered gazebo could use a clean-out and the broken umbrellas could be disposed of. I don't think card payments are acceptable... I don't carry a lot of cash around anymore... it's not mentioned anywhere. Not on the website, Google, or the menu. Dogs are welcome, a few bowls of fresh water would be nice... they were all empty.

We entered the restaurant and found many tables still containing guests' dishes. There were also napkins here and there on the floor, which the staff skillfully overlooked. After we had been assigned a table, it took a few more minutes for the dirty dishes to be cleared away. Drinks were ordered along with our dinner, which also took a while. The food was definitely not to be faulted 👌❗️We had a 400g Angus steak, a 200g Angus steak, a scampi salad, and XXL spare ribs... Everything was delicious - steaks grilled to perfection, varied and fresh salad, and the spare ribs very tender. After we had finished, the empty plates were left standing until we asked for them to be taken away. Empty glasses were also overlooked, so we always had to call someone if we wanted something to drink. The lack of service can't even be blamed on a lack of staff; there were enough of them. The restrooms also leave a lot to be desired. All in all, it's a real shame... because the location at the airport is fantastic and wonderful, and the food is highly recommended. After paying, there was no "thank you" or "see you soon, have a nice evening" - nothing. The employee left without saying a word. It's a real shame, all in all!

What a shame... I was there on a beautiful Sunday with my children (4 and 5 years old respectively) to have some great food and, in the nice weather, to show them some airplanes. Well... The owner grabbed my daughter during dinner and sat her on her chair to show her "how to behave." It was outrageous, considering that little kids just don't have the patience to wait 45 minutes for their food. They were hungry, and it felt like an eternity. And then to show no understanding and reprimand my child with such disrespectful behavior is completely unacceptable. My children are bright, they like to try their siblings' plates, they laugh, and they're happy. Sure, one has a little more ketchup, so the other wants to dip it in too. Not a problem for me personally. Not a problem for the owner anymore either. If that doesn't fit the philosophy of this restaurant, then they should eat their chicken bhuna themselves... We were charged while we were still eating... We enjoyed coming here before we had children, but that was now... IF MY CHILDREN WANT TO STAND WHILE EATING, THEN THEY WILL STAND. IF THEY WANT TO TRY FROM THEIR SISTER'S PLATE, THEN THEY WILL. I WILL NOT REPRODUCE THEM EVERY TWO MINUTES JUST BECAUSE AN ELDER WOMAN WHO DOESN'T PLEASE WANTS TO... FOR THE LAST TIME! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

You can eat very well here at a reasonable price, and the service was very friendly and attentive. It's great that something like this still exists! Thank you very much.

I celebrated my 18th birthday here and it was just amazing the food is delicious and the staff are always very nice it was definitely a lovely day here and there was a lot of surprise

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant yesterday was very disappointing. While I was eating, I noticed hair in my food, which is absolutely unacceptable. The steak was also really tough, which really spoiled the enjoyment. The atmosphere was also unpleasant, as the guests around us were constantly complaining. The service from the waiter was also unfriendly, and someone even dropped food on another table - I've never seen anything like that before, except on TV. The restaurant used to be good when the previous owner was there, but unfortunately it has now become really bad. Based on these experiences, I will definitely not be coming back and cannot recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Two years ago, it was a very good restaurant to eat at, but today you have to think twice about going back. Some reviews with "reasonable price for portions" are really hard to understand. I still have the old menu and compared it with today. At least every dish is €3 more expensive, which is still okay, but everything except the schnitzel is mostly €10 more expensive, and the portions are significantly smaller than before. If you were a bit short of the end of your portion, you either had to stuff yourself or have the rest packed up, but things are completely different today. Service seemed rather impersonal, and salt and pepper shakers were also missing from the table. In the past, they would always ask if you wanted to make a reservation for the next occasion. The biggest surprise today was that there is no longer a card machine. The restroom situation hasn't changed much from before, except for the fact that it has been removed.

Beautifully located at the Worms sports airfield. You can sit inside or in the beer garden. The food was very good, from the appetizer to the main course to the iced coffee. Good value for money. Good and friendly service, very attentive without being intrusive. We'd be happy to come back, see you next time.

Three of us were at the restaurant today around 7 p.m. We were seen for the first time at 7:15 p.m. We placed our drink orders and received our menus. We left the restaurant at 7:30 p.m. We had half an hour to look at the filth everywhere. The toilet was a mess; no one had used a rag in there for days. So no food and the trip was for nothing. Absolutely terrible!!!

We were there today. It wasn't busy, and despite ordering, we still hadn't received any drinks after 35 minutes. The restroom was absolutely stunning, so I found a clean portable toilet on the construction site. After waiting 45 minutes without drinks, we left the place and went around the corner to a more accommodating restaurant... never again Propeller.

The one star only because there's no other option. The service... there was no service. We sat in the restaurant for half an hour and marveled at the filth, but that was it. They did give us a menu after 15 minutes, and at some point someone asked for a drink, but that was about the end of the service. I can't say anything about the food or drink; there was nothing even after half an hour. On the other hand, I did experience truly disgusting, filthy, and broken toilets; afterward, I was actually glad there was no food or drink.

The food is excellent, and the prices are absolutely reasonable! Unfortunately, the service leaves a lot to be desired, as was the case on our first visit; the staff was very slow and inattentive this time as well. We'll be back in the hope that things will improve (for example, by training the staff).

This cozy restaurant is located directly at Worms Airport and is divided into two interior areas. When the weather's nice, you can also sit on the somewhat less well-maintained terrace and watch the planes take off and land. The menu offers a wide selection at affordable prices. Our food was delicious and the portions were generous - it seems like every other guest packs their leftovers to go. I had two Aperols, the first very tasty, the second unfortunately prepared incorrectly, with a strong bitter lemon flavor. Our schnitzel became a bit drier towards the middle, and we also received fries even though we had ordered croquettes - mistakes happen, so we didn't complain. The burger and curry, on the other hand, were very tasty. They also currently have asparagus on the menu. The staff were very friendly, and the nightcap is on the house. Plenty of free parking in front of the restaurant. Also ideal for wheelchair users. Reservations for the evening are recommended.

So I went there for the first time with my boyfriend and his family and that was also the last time. I ordered a Wiener Schnitzel which was half raw and tasted like it had come out of the oven. We were given a salad beforehand and even though it said it would only be green salad, carrots and cucumbers, they also added beans, white cabbage and sweetcorn to it. The “yogurt sauce” was so runny and oily that it was inedible. At the end of the day we paid a total of over €140 for 4 adults, 3 children and 2 smaller children and yes, my boyfriend and I were vomiting and had diarrhea the next day. I am truly speechless and will never go there again.

After an excursion or a visit to the zoo, the Propeller Restaurant in Worms is an excellent choice for a cozy stop. The prices are pleasantly reasonable—especially these days—without compromising on quality. The food is fresh and delicious. The menu is also very extensive, so there's something for every taste. We've been coming to the Propeller for years, but today was the day we decided not to come anymore. We waited almost 2 hours for our food, people who came 1 hour after us got their food before us. There was hair in the salad. The cheeseburger bread was ice cold. Children didn't get the scoop of ice cream like it said on the menu. So all in all a total disappointment.

The taste of the food was okay. Unfortunately, it upset my stomach so much that I still had some for three days afterwards. I once had the sheep's cheese as a starter and Channa Masala as a main course. We love this place! We could taste some great dishes: schnitzel, curry wurst, etc., but you can also taste amazing Indian dishes too. Moreover the food portions are huge! The service is really friendly and the environment is informal, just come here, eat delicious food, have some fun with your family and/or friends. Moreover you can relax, have a walk around and watch some small planes taking-off and landing from the small airstrip.

You also can't pay with a card... unfortunately that wasn't possible for a while. Justification The cash register is too old for that.... good so instead of a new cash register, service loss. Here you can eat well and watch the aircraft operations, whether indoors or outdoors. The food is perfectly fine for the prices, and the quantity is also convincing. The service is always very friendly and accommodating, and at least until 2024 a friendly cat occasionally roamed through the restaurant. We come there with larger groups several times a year as a course from the flight school next door, and that has never caused any problems. We'd love to come back again and again!

This was our first time here and we weren't impressed... The portions are very large - the price is relatively low. Our group of eight didn't particularly enjoy the food. The food wasn't particularly tasty, but it was edible. The sauces were tasteless, the soup was too salty, and the spare ribs were boring. Unfortunately, the side salads only arrived after repeated requests, when the food was almost gone. We probably won't be back. It's a shame, because the restaurant is beautifully located at the airport, especially for aviation enthusiasts.

This place is amazing. We live local but only discovered it from Beard Meets Food on YouTube! A hidden gem indeed. The menu is vast! There is something for every taste. The food was delicious, portions were generous and the price was incredible value! We will definitely be back again and again! Highly recommend.

I was there for the first time on Sunday. The portions are really big, especially the schnitzels. The food was really very good and sufficient. I was already full after the starter and side salad. Only the seating outside the room could be made nicer and in this weather it is rather uncomfortable to sit there. Addendum After about 2 years we had dinner there yesterday. Yes, this visit was overall a little better than the last. The service was very friendly but unfortunately didn't know what the difference was between still and carbonated water. To eat. Yes, this time it was a little better before. I had the airfield plate. The rump steak and schnitzel were ok. I didn't like the turkey steak at all and the pork fillet was not edible - completely dry and tough. The Texas potatoes weren't that great either because they were fried way too short.

My wife and I were at the propeller for the first and unfortunately the last time today. We have known the place for years and have eaten there regularly, but now with the new line-up we will no longer be seen there. Today's schnitzels were guaranteed to have come from a pre-packaged package as they looked, fried to death, and the mushroom sauce was also ready-made and not freshly made. We loved being there and often ate there with friends, but unfortunately that was the last time today. Unfortunately, the way it tastes there won't be able to last much longer, as the standard from back then clearly cannot or will not be maintained.

Schnitzel tasted good! The breading was nice and crispy, the fries would have been perfect if they had been fried/baked for 1-2 minutes longer. Service that evening was a bit overwhelmed but always friendly. The name says it all, "propeller planes" were flying and landing the whole time ;), my colleagues and I liked it (we were outside in the nice weather), if you prefer something a little quieter there is a nice place inside with the right atmosphere 😊. All in all recommended!

Here is a more detailed review of the restaurant. After a first look at the menu I was surprised; there was good home-style cooking with schnitzels, burgers and steaks. This was followed by a surprise with two sides of Indian cuisine. Two people in our group ordered Indian dishes and were relatively satisfied because the food was authentic Indian and tasted good. The rest of the group had ordered various schnitzel variants and cordon bleu and there were pepperoni and sheep's cheese variants as starters. After we ordered everything, the appetizers arrived after just under 17 minutes. The starters were hot and a good size. The grilled peppers with sauce were okay, the garlic sauce had a pleasant garlic taste, but it was very salty, rather oversalted. The side salads for the schnitzels came to the table after another 8 minutes; it was a mixed salad with ready-made yogurt dressing. After a total of 33 minutes after ordering, the main courses followed. I actually find the time acceptable, considering that we were a group of 11 people. Unfortunately one person had to wait another 5 minutes for their Indian dish. The main courses arrived hot and seemed freshly prepared, chips and croquettes were crispy. A considerable amount of fat or oil from the fried food came out under my onion schnitzel. Some of the braised onions were still very raw and not really braised, but rather warmed. Unfortunately, the sauce that was under the onions had already formed an unsightly skin. The schnitzel wasn't crispy at all, but that wasn't due to the sauce, but rather because these are ready-made products! When you took your first bite you immediately realized that the schnitzel had only been heated in the deep fryer and was definitely not freshly prepared. What a shame! High quality and fresh products would have been appropriate for the price, unfortunately only convenience products are used for the food here. There is nothing wrong with the drinks, only the beer was a bit too warm in my opinion. The staff in this restaurant is quite nice so far, but unfortunately they don't speak German very well. We suspect the staff to have Indian origins, which may also explain the Indian dishes. The toilets are very run down, unkempt and just not what you want in a restaurant. Urgently in need of renovation! In conclusion I can say that I would not and will not come back in the future. Unfortunately, the quality offered does not match the price at all. From my side it's only 2/5 stars.
