I used to be a regular there, but I moved and recently happened to be there again; the food was very good as always, and we'll gladly come back.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Great atmosphere in the outdoor area. The food was delicious and highly recommended.

We can wholeheartedly recommend the Gasthaus Stern. For years, we've tried to stop there when passing through on our way to Baden-Württemberg. The food is excellent, the service exceptionally friendly, and the rosé is superb. There's simply nothing to complain about. We wish the whole team continued success and look forward to our next visit.

What's going on in Stein? Visited relatives in the outback this weekend. The Waldhaus has reopened where countless dogs are usually buried. And when I heard where the new tenants have been cooking since then, it was clear. This had to be tested. Since we were there shortly after it opened, we were the first and were able to observe how they "work" there. The friendly waiter, presumably the son, had a perfect answer to all our questions. As an old "Balkan fan," we immediately ordered cevapcici. In my opinion, this is the quickest way to see what the chef is capable of. And what can I say, it was awesome. Do you know the Pita in Heilbronn? Actually, the benchmark for Balkan things. Today, the measuring stick for me is in Stein. Otherwise, it's immaculately tidy and very clean. The ceramics are also top-notch, and it smells remarkably fresh. All in all, a highly recommended package in the former Steiner sports center.
