Rustic ambience, great food and, especially in summer, a great outdoor area.

Typical village pub, lots of long-established locals. Crowded, hectic, very loud. Service very friendly but a bit overloaded. Bar counter atmosphere. Eating simply in Hessian style, just by reaching into the convenience bag. Prices, well, reasonable. All in all the regulars seem happy. Unfortunately we don't.

The food was extremely delicious and nicely prepared. The service is also very, very friendly and it is very pleasant to sit in the restaurant. I'd love to come back!!😋

Lutz and his dear husband Deni continue the eventful story. Quaint inn that seems to have fallen out of time! A little now would actually be desirable. The sanitary area smells not good and the ambience could do with a bit of freshening up. Still very nice, just like the Blauer Bock used to be 🐏. Delicious food, good home cooking, nice staff! Prices now, in fact, like everywhere else in the country, are rather high. There is a lack of competition. You can eat there in Frankfurt at cheaper prices. Nevertheless, it is actually a cult pub, Ebbelwoi Gastwirtschaft in the Wetterau district very close to the city of Frankfurt am Main.

Good home cooking. Everything seems freshly prepared and is delicious. The staff attentive. I have known the restaurant for almost 50 years. It is an institution in Massenheim and Bad Vilbel.

German cuisine... perfect price and performance

Typical German restaurant, with a small but very tasty menu. Admittedly it's not the most inviting view from the outside and the inside is also typically German and a bit old-fashioned and dark. The service was very friendly and accommodating, and everything was extremely quick from ordering to clearing away. Prices are very fair. With outdoor area. Card payment may not be possible (?), the entrance is not handicapped accessible and unfortunately I didn't see a high chair either - although children were otherwise proactively addressed. Almost everything here seems to be full of regular guests right when it opens at 5 p.m. on the weekend - reservations are strongly recommended!

I love this place! It can be so easy. When people love what they do, you can tell. It's definitely not super easy to run a restaurant. But here they do it right. Reduced opening times, good food and a dream location in summer. I'm there every now and then because my dog ​​walk goes right past it. Thank you for hosting us.

Ein seit vielen Jahren liebgewonnenes Gasthaus mit dem besten "Cordon bleu" da lohnt sich sogar der Weg von Speyer nach Massenheim.

Eine Kneipe wie sie im Buche steht! Preis Leistung unschlagbar gut. Pferde Koppel direkt davor und dahinter Garten

Einfache Äppelwoi Wirtschaft mit sehr netten Bedienungen, beim Essen wird auch versucht Sonderwünsche zu erfüllen, Schnitzel war knusprig und lecker! Einfach mal hingehen..... Lohnt sich!

Sehr laut, Verständigung mit mehreren Personen am Tisch unmöglich. Stilles Wasser nicht im Angebot. Einmal im Jahr genügt ein Besuch.

Leckeres Schnitzel für kleines Geld, dazu sehr guter Salat Teller und gute Bratkartoffeln... Insbesondere das Zwiebel Schnitzel ist ne Wucht mit lecker karamelisierten Zwiebeln. Nur bei der Küche kann es mal länger dauern, aber dafür immer frisch
