Zum Kramerwirt in Germering

I was happy to go back to the newly reopened Kramerwirt and had my favorite dish, veal shank. The roast pork looked good, and at the next table was the Kaiserschmarrn, which I will try soon.

The restaurant has reopened under new management. There's a huge improvement! 👍 I simply have to say: Great food and great service! 👍 Regarding the negative reviews on opening day, I can only say: Sorry, but what do you expect on the first day when the whole team isn't yet working together smoothly? Things are bound to go wrong. Writing such reviews immediately afterward is simply unfair to the word.

Fast and attentive service. The price was very fair and the food tasted great too. I was happy.

Currently, things are a bit difficult for the staff because the cash register hasn't been delivered since we opened. This means everything takes four times as long due to manual booking and ordering. On top of that, the place is completely packed every evening. Just give it some time; once the cash register arrives, everything will run smoothly. The food is really good, the service is friendly, and we're so glad it's open again with such a friendly team.

We were a group of six for dinner and were all more than satisfied. As expected, they served Bavarian cuisine at very reasonable prices. The quality of the food was consistently excellent. From schnitzel to cevapcici and cordon bleu, everything was highly recommended. Vegetarians also found very tasty options. Although the restaurant was quite full, we didn't have to wait long for our food. The portions were generous and beautifully presented. The friendliness of the staff was very pleasant. Despite the large number of guests, it was easy to have a conversation. The noise level was surprisingly well-controlled. All in all, a very enjoyable evening, and we will certainly be back soon. Thank you for reopening this traditional restaurant. Best of luck to your team; the start was a great success!

Good, home-style cooking with excellent value for money. The lunch menu is highly recommended. The service is very good and friendly. The ambiance is rather dated; new chairs and tables would definitely freshen up this otherwise lovely restaurant. All in all, I was very satisfied and would gladly return.

We visited on Sunday for the third time since the reopening. Yes, the beginning was a bit bumpy, but I have to say it's getting better. What I'd like to emphasize is that all criticism is received constructively and actually implemented. It doesn't go in one ear and out the other. But everyone is also welcome to offer praise; the entire staff appreciates it, because they deserve it! They really try to make every guest happy! Dear guests, give our new Kramerwirt a chance and don't give up so easily! Every beginning is difficult, but if we all speak kindly to one another, things will improve in the future! In conclusion, I can only say that it was wonderful to celebrate my birthday with my family (who also praised the restaurant highly) in this beautiful and harmonious setting! Many thanks to the entire staff of the Kramerwirt! Keep up the good work! There are still a few things you need to tweak, but you'll manage! We're looking forward to our next visit and especially to the beer garden next year! So – hang in there! 😉

New owner in the restaurant, my wife and I ate there for the first time since the change, yes it was great, we had onion roast beef and the Kramerwirt schnitzel and both were good, the plates were even pre-warmed, the staff was also great, we will come again.

Unfortunately, it's not like it used to be. At noon on Sunday, there were many reserved tables, but still a manageable number of guests. Drinks arrived quickly. Ordering food was done quickly, but it took a good 60 minutes for the food to arrive. The restaurant slowly filled up, and it quickly became apparent that the people around us weren't satisfied either – not only because of what they had ordered, but also because something had been forgotten, and because everything was taking far too long. The food was meager: a cordon bleu with 15 fries (no ketchup – only after asking a second time did we get ketchup), and calf's liver with instant mashed potatoes. The only positive was the young, friendly waiter. We also had to ask to pay several times. All in all, not very good. I hope the kitchen speeds up, and that the portions will then be adequate for the prices.

You can eat very good Bavarian food there at fair prices. The service is very friendly.

The Kramerwirt, our 150-year-old traditional inn in Unterpfaffenhofen, now has new owners. The food is simply superb! The first week was tough for the new proprietors, with high demand and a few initial hiccups. But now things are running smoothly and the Löwenbräu is in full swing. The Spritz is also fantastic. Thank you for being back! I come to my favorite local every week. The daily changing menu and the pork roast with crackling are definite improvements. Keep it up!

Update 3.11.25: New owner. Extremely high prices. Roast pork with mini dumplings and mini coleslaw. The thickened gravy was a disaster. Prices on the website are outdated. Roast pork for €15.90 is too expensive, but tastes good. Waited 30 minutes for the food.

The restaurant reopened under new management on November 27, 2025. On October 30, 2025, I reserved a table for five people by phone for 5:30 p.m. on November 1, 2025. Upon our punctual arrival, we were shown to a table and our order was taken by the server. The drinks were served shortly thereafter. After 50 minutes, one of the servers (there is one female and two male servers circulating in the restaurant, and the tables are not assigned) asked if everything was alright. I then complained about the long wait for the food and pointed out that the pitcher on the table only contained two sets of cutlery, which we had already taken. He took the pitcher and said the food would be coming soon and that he would refill the cutlery. The server placed the pitcher, along with four napkins and two knives and forks each, on the table and left. Since one set of cutlery was still missing, my wife got up and fetched another from the supply the waiter was also using. Exactly 60 minutes later, two dishes arrived (a schnitzel and the pljeskavica I had ordered). Five minutes later, another dish arrived. I then pointed out that my food was lukewarm and the fries were almost burnt and hard, and that I wanted to speak to the manager. At that point, I met the third waiter, who quickly came to the table. Upon seeing the fries, he immediately agreed with me and apologized, explaining that the manager, who was behind the counter, couldn't come personally because he only spoke English. When I explained that I was annoyed we had to wait so long for the food and that it wasn't served together, he said they would find a solution. Ten minutes later, the last two dishes arrived. One of them was a schnitzel, ordered 75 minutes earlier, and exactly the same order as the schnitzel that had been served 15 minutes before. The second dish was roast pork with crackling, dumplings, and coleslaw. The coleslaw was forgotten! We didn't complain. After we asked to pay, the third waiter, who hadn't served us before—I thought he was there to resolve the issue—reappeared, and charged us 100% of the bill. I explained to him that we wouldn't be returning to this restaurant and that while I always gladly leave a tip, I wouldn't after such an experience. We also overheard complaints about the long wait from the neighboring tables. For the reasons mentioned above, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The Kramerwirt reopened under new management on October 27, 2025. Results as of October 31, 2025: * There's no cash register; payment is cash only. * Service: not what one would expect. * Food: Not outstanding. Now for the hard part. The four of us entered the restaurant at 6:00 PM. About 50% of the tables were occupied. We ordered drinks 10 minutes after we sat down. Another 10 minutes later, the drinks arrived. Ten minutes after that, we ordered food. Nothing special: one roast pork, one cabbage roll, and two cordon bleu. Actually, the first two dishes are completely standard and rarely take more than 10-15 minutes, as both are pre-cooked. A few dishes came out of the kitchen, but not in the quantities we had ordered. We noticed that not a single dish arrived from the kitchen within 45 minutes. Then a few more dishes arrive. By the way, it's now after 7:30 p.m. There are three people behind the counter—I can see right onto it—and I see them, quite seriously, stirring the foam in a beer glass with a spoon! There have already been complaints about the drinks. More chaos behind the counter... Bottles are being inspected to see if they're still full, glasses are being checked to see if they've been used. Pure chaos. Around 7:40 p.m., the two cordon bleu arrive. The first bites bring more discontent—it tastes and smells like fish. Either the pan had been used for fish and then immediately reused, or it wasn't clean. When I ask when the missing dishes will finally arrive, I'm asked what I ordered. The same question is asked two more times, five minutes apart. You can tell the place is completely overwhelmed. Finally, all the food arrives. The promised mashed potatoes for the cabbage roll turned into whole potato wedges. The roast pork arrived without salad, despite being ordered, and instead of the requested two bread dumplings, it came with one potato dumpling and one bread dumpling. We're now sitting there high and dry. Ordering more drinks? No way! The guests' dissatisfaction is palpable, with many complaints even when paying the bill. We were asked to pay a total of four times. A 30-minute wait to pay is enough. I took a menu, added everything up myself, and handed the exact amount to the counter. "Just a moment, please..." NO, I'm not waiting any longer! Paid and done with it. Let me be perfectly clear: Anyone who runs a place like this will soon go under in flames! For me, this was the first and last visit after the reopening. At 8:00 PM...

I was there yesterday. I'm sick today. The food was a disaster; I sent it back twice. I've never eaten so much salt in my entire life.

A very nice and large Bavarian-Croatian restaurant with a lovely beer garden. You get value for your money here. Large portions. Everything is fresh. The schnitzel is world-class. Very attentive service. Highly recommended.

This was my first time here...well, what can I say? Everything was perfect, the food was incredibly delicious (kudos to the chefs), and the waitress was super nice, too. She kept asking if everything was okay...that's how it should be. I'll definitely be back.

Overall, the food in the restaurant was very good, freshly prepared, and delicious. Unfortunately, the service experience was somewhat marred. The older waiter, who rolled his eyes and audibly snorted when people ordered extras, was particularly negative. This made guests feel like they were being a nuisance, which noticeably detracted from an otherwise pleasant evening. A little more friendliness and patience in the service would have significantly improved the overall impression.

Nice restaurant, good service. We wanted to have dinner quickly and it worked out very well. Delicious food between €10 and €20. We ate salmon and goulash. The food was on the table after a short time and tasted very good. Not huge portions, it was enough to fill you up. Finding parking was difficult, but worth it. I can recommend it.

Everything is great. Only little older lady/waiter doesn't work at all. I go there regularly and the service is always unfriendly - last time she told me to go into the kitchen and ask for my soup, which I had already waited 45 minutes for and everyone had finished eating.

As Bavarian as it is rustic and really good

Cash only. No problem, only in the future I will go to places where you can pay with a card, banking app, Bitcoin or something else that doesn't come from antiquity. The world has never seen such customer-unfriendly service. I would strongly recommend introducing other payment systems if you don't want to scare away even more customers by paying in cash. And apparently someone has to bring it up? These cash-only payment models are strictly used for tax fraud and nothing else! The tax office should actually be encouraged to conduct a special audit.

The food is good, the price-performance ratio is very good. The impression is clouded by the fact that only cash payment is accepted. And in pouring rain the guest is sent to the nearest ATM, about 10 minutes away on foot. I cannot recommend a restaurant that is good in itself with such customer-unfriendly behavior.

Delicious schnitzel, the children really like eating this with fries. Tender boiled beef. Parking spaces right in front of the door, which is particularly appreciated as a long-established Munich resident. Nice, quiet beer garden under old trees.

The food is very good, including the size of the portions, there is absolutely nothing to complain about! The service is absolutely friendly and helpful, but you have to be patient... Conclusion: we will definitely come back after our summer vacation. And look forward to good food with patience.

Actually really OK. Nice beer garden and top price/performance. You can only pay in cash but that doesn't bother me. Inside it's not that inviting and doesn't seem that clean either. That's probably why the interiors are less well attended. I live nearby and would actually be a potential regular customer. BUT: The waitress (older lady) is so unfriendly and rude that I will never set foot in this place again as long as she works there. During the last few visits I always hoped that the lady would no longer work there but unfortunately I was disappointed. Please let us know when the service is gone and we will come back.

Today we were in a larger group at the Kramerwirt. We just had a drink, but I've rarely been treated as incredibly unfriendly as I was here! The older lady didn't think it was necessary to be friendly and normal with her guests. I walked out really horrified and won't be coming back. Unbelievably unfortunate!

I have rarely eaten such a delicious onion roast, big compliments to the kitchen.

I recently visited the Zum Karamerwirt restaurant and was unfortunately disappointed. We ordered Cevapi to take away, but when we opened the order we were negatively surprised that there was no Lepina. Instead the cevapi were served with Djuvec. This is simply unacceptable and you should inform customers about this in advance. Cevapi must traditionally be served in Lepina, otherwise we wouldn't have ordered it. This surprise negatively affected our entire dining experience. It would be advisable to clearly mark such changes on the menu, and far too much more expensive for the corresponding quality.

Went with 16 wedding guests on June 1st. 24 here, super delicious food, reasonable prices, despite many guests, the food came almost at the same time, service was friendly and quick, we can recommend the Kramer Wirt with a clear conscience

Griabige restaurant...nice beer garden...food very good and affordable.

Leider nicht gut. Das Restaurant ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und müsste dringend renoviert werden. Wahrscheinlich wird aber abgewartet ob es nicht bessere Möglichkeiten zur Verwertung der Immobilie gibt. Das merkt man auch am Essen. Wir waren spontan zu viert dort. Das Schnitzel fettig und uninspiriert. Insgesamt machten die Speisen einen lieblosen Eindruck und schmeckten auch so. Da gibt es in Germering und Umgebung bessere Restaurants mit bayerischer Küche.

Anyone who is in Germering and doesn't go to the Kramerwirt hasn't been to Germering! I'll probably never forget some of the memories ;-)

Eine Erfahrung der besonderen Art. Gestern waren wir mit einer Gruppe von 23 Personen zum Geburtstag feiern dort. Möchte dazu sagen, dass wir reserviert hatten. Als wir das Lokal betreten hatten wurden wir vor dem gebuchten Raum abgefangen und gefragt „trinken was“. Wir fanden es irritierend aber gut, jeder hat so seine eigene Art mit Gästen umzugehen. Wir waren gerade bei der Begrüßung aller Gästen und dabei viel ein Getränk um (kann passieren). Somit erlaubte ich mir, unseren Kellner darauf aufmerksam zumachen und er drückte uns einen trockenen Putzlumpen in die Hand. Klar kann man machen. Nach ca. 1/2 Stunde kam der Kellner wieder zu uns in den Raum und wollte die Bestellungen aufnehmen, da wir uns jedoch unterhalten hatten waren wir noch nicht soweit und dann ging es erst richtig los. Er fragte wo dass Problem sei, denn er hätte noch mehr Gäste und es kann ja nicht so schwer sein, sich sein Essen raus zu suchen. Zur Info, das Lokal hatte gesamt max. 15 Gäste. Die Überraschung, wir hatten nicht das Vergnügen mit einem Kellner, nein es war der Chef persönlich. Diese unfreundliche, unverschämte und genervte Art des Chefs hat uns dazu gebracht, die Getränke zu bezahlen und das Lokal „ohne“ zu essen zu verlassen. Wenn es möglich wäre null Sterne zu vergeben, würde ich das tatsächlich zum ersten Mal machen. Es mag ja sein, dass man dort gut essen kann aber ich möchte mich in einem Lokal willkommen fühlen und eine schöne Zeit verbringen. Dieses Lokal nie wieder!!!

Were there with a group of 23 people to celebrate their birthday. We hadn't even sat down before we were asked what we wanted to drink. The boss's subsequent unfriendly and annoyed manner meant that after a drink we quickly left the restaurant "without" eating there and ate somewhere else. He made stupid and rude comments when one of the guests didn't immediately know what to eat. Quote: Now you've been sitting around for half an hour and you still don't know what you want to eat? Here you realize that you are definitely not welcome as a guest. If it were possible to give zero stars, that would happen here. Never this place again!!!

Food was okay, could be better. You get full. Cash only, didn't read it on the first page of the menu, then had to go to the bank. Where else can you find something like that, who still thinks about paying in cash these days?

Tasty food, but unfriendly service and very long waiting times. We were there with a group of 25 people, the last meals came after 1:45, and we sometimes waited 30 minutes for a round of beers. If you can't manage it, don't accept a reservation. Maybe better for smaller groups or individuals.

Only 3 points because of the dishonest pricing information. Food was very tasty, friendly service, portions were manageable and sufficient, but prices were almost 15% higher than the online menu. Main courses around 2 euros Roast pork instead of 13.90 € 15.90 Fries instead of 3.50 now 4 €. Quite loud, difficult to have a relaxed conversation with several people.

Just super GOOD! You feel a little like in the old days, in the beautiful old inn. Food, service and ambience TOP!!!

Rustikales Restaurant was nicht auf Bling Bling setzt sondern einfach Leistung zeigt. Gutes bürgerliches Essen. Große Menge, Gute Preise, schneller Service.

Wir sind am Sonntagnachmittag mit 6 Leuten während einer Radtour eingekehrt. Die Küche hatte eigentlich schon zu (wussten wir nicht). Die Bedienung hat dennoch schnell und unbürokratisch Schnitzel und Schweinebraten für uns zubereiten lassen. Top Service und die Gerichte waren geschmacklich 1a!
