The food was absolutely amazing! There's a huge selection on the menu, and vegetarians are also catered for. The food selection is simply fantastic; everything tasted amazing, and I especially enjoyed the apple and cherry cider.

It was actually quite busy on a Friday evening, but the friendly staff still found us a seat. The food arrived very quickly after ordering and was delicious. All the staff were very friendly. We even got a free shot of schnapps because the table next to us was very loud. Highly recommended.

Very, very good food! I tried the pulled mushroom burger and was totally surprised by how good it was. You should reserve a table. We were there on a Wednesday and it was packed; we wouldn't have gotten a table without a reservation.

We were absolutely thrilled: the roast beef with Zeiebel was legendary, and the salad was absolutely delicious! The entire atmosphere and staff were very friendly, and on top of that, the food was very quick. It's also conveniently located on the B31! We would go back anytime!

We were there quite early in the evening, which meant we had our own seating and were served extremely quickly. The staff was consistently very friendly. Among other things, they offer typical local dishes, such as Maultaschen (swabian pasta) and Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle), which were delicious. There's also a small selection of delicious desserts. The prices aren't cheap, but they're quite reasonable for the overall package.

Every year when we're at Lake Constance, it's a MUST to come here at least once. The food is first-class and extremely delicious, the service and staff are fantastic and couldn't be bettered. We look forward to our visit every time.

The atmosphere is very pleasant, and everything is clean. The service is friendly and fast. The team seems to work well together. The food is delicious, and you don't have to wait long for it. You'll also find something to enjoy with children. They have a children's menu, which also includes puzzles and coloring pages. This keeps the kids busy and doesn't get bored.

A fantastic restaurant that completely delighted us! The service was incredibly fast – something you rarely experience. The food was consistently excellent, and the high standards promised by the menu were fully met. I would especially like to highlight the fantastic dessert, which rounded off the visit perfectly. The homemade lemonade is also highly recommended – fresh, tangy, and something special. Card payments worked perfectly. Overall, a wonderful experience that we can recommend without reservation – a clear 5 stars!

It was a surprising discovery. I ordered a swede roast braten and the meat was delicious. The portions are huge, so be careful how much you order. We couldn't even get to the desserts, which also looked spectacular. We'll be back if we have the chance.

Our visit to the Klosterwirt proved to be an exceptionally good decision. Although the restaurant is somewhat remote from the city center, the ambiance and cozy beer garden more than made up for it. All the dishes were a culinary sensation, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive.

The service was super friendly, the food arrived quickly, but... The fish plate turned out to be a vegetable plate. Two thin, barely palm-sized pieces of fish for €27! The monastery host was more than disappointing here. The succinct response to the complaint was that fish is simply expensive. A visit will be reconsidered for the next vacation. A real shame!

Awesome restaurant!!! They also offer gluten-free burgers. Ten of us were there last night. Apart from the exterior, which initially made us fear something terrible, it was a fantastic evening. Our waiter impressed us with his charm, expertise, and wit. The food was all freshly prepared and delicious. Even though all ten of us ordered different dishes, all the dishes arrived at the same time. Anyone in Friedrichshafen absolutely has to go there.

I ordered the beef steak with fries – the meat was cooked to perfection, and the fries were crispy and fresh. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The ambiance was also impressive – cozy, inviting, and with a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a very positive impression. I would gladly return and can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant!

We were looking for a suitable restaurant after a strenuous day at the Adventure Southside trade fair and were greeted very warmly at the Klosterwirt restaurant and treated to incredibly delicious food.

Wir haben hier richtig gut am Freitag Abend, den 25.07. gegessen. Die Portionen sind reichlich und qualitativ wirklich gut. Trotz der vielen Gäste war der Service bemüht und freundlich. Da die Parkplätze voll waren, durften wir mit einer Karte auf einem naheliegenden Parkplatz kostenlos parken und es wurde uns alles sehr gut und freundlich erklärt. Gerne irgendwann mal wieder!

Enjoyed delicious tapas in an unexpectedly cozy and relaxed atmosphere

We were there on Friday, July 19, 2025. Very friendly and the food was excellent. We had four different dishes. The price/performance ratio was good. We were the last ones there, as it was late at night. We also really liked the fact that we never felt like we should leave. Unfortunately, they were closed on Saturday and Sunday, as it was the Seehasenfest. We will eat there again next year on Friday. The four of us can highly recommend it.

Hello, I was at the garden for dinner on Thursday, July 10, 2025. I ordered a plate of sausage salad and sour cheese with potatoes for snacks. The food was delicious, but the portion was better than a starter, or rather, I've never had such a small portion. Please reconsider the portion. The service and beer selection were fine.

Great food, truly delicious, beautifully presented, and with a touch of sophistication—not your average restaurant. Fair prices, good service, and a pleasant seating area, especially in the beer garden. We were there on vacation (June 2025) and decided to go back several times. I'm usually quite critical and would never recommend anything lightly, but here I would say that you can order anything on the menu without seeing it and you won't be disappointed. We tried a variety of dishes, from salads to meat, bowls to classic Swabian and mixed salads, all of which were truly excellent. A definite recommendation!

There were nine of us there, and despite the size of our group, we were seated quickly – that alone was impressive! The food was so delicious and the overall experience so compelling that we returned the very next day. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and always had a good joke on their lips – simply personable! The value for money is also absolutely spot on. If we're in the area again, a visit is definitely planned. Highly recommended!

We went there twice with nine people, and everything was simply fantastic. Great outdoor seating and extremely friendly and responsive staff. The drinks were always good, and there was a very large selection of everything. The food was simply delicious and more than plentiful. The appetizers had really large portions and were truly delicious. The main courses and desserts were just as large and delicious, and all at more than reasonable prices. If we're in the area again, we'd love to come back.

Ein rundum gelungener Besuch! Das Essen war hervorragend – geschmacklich top und schön angerichtet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den ausgesprochen freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Als unser Kind beim Servieren versehentlich sein Getränk verschüttet hat, wurde uns sofort und unkompliziert ein neuer Tisch angeboten, damit wir in Ruhe essen konnten. Die Bedienungen waren durchweg freundlich, hilfsbereit und stets mit einem Lächeln unterwegs. Kinder sind hier herzlich willkommen: Es gibt eine eigene Kinderkarte und etwas zum Ausmalen – eine schöne Aufmerksamkeit, die uns sehr positiv aufgefallen ist. Parkplätze direkt am Gebäude sind begrenzt, aber man bekommt eine Parkkarte für einen nahegelegenen Parkplatz, der nur etwa 2 Gehminuten entfernt ist – sehr praktisch gelöst. Insgesamt ein Besuch, den wir gerne wiederholen – absolute Weiterempfehlung!

The menu offers a wide selection of classic Swabian dishes such as Maultaschen (raw pork stew), Zwiebelrostbraten (onion roast beef), schnitzel, and spaetzle. I opted for the Jägerschnitzel (hunter's schnitzel) with homemade spaetzle – the portion was generous, the meat tender, and the sauce perfectly balanced the flavors. For a drink, a freshly tapped regional beer – delicious. The staff was very friendly, well-organized, and always attentive, despite the full house. Reservations can be made directly via the website – very user-friendly. Prices range from €20–30, which I find absolutely fair for the quality and portion size offered. What's particularly nice is that the restaurant is also suitable for families; there are highchairs and plenty of space. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy traditional German cuisine in a relaxed yet high-quality atmosphere.

Everything was beautifully presented. Overall, excellent cuisine, extremely friendly staff, and comfortable seating. Also noteworthy: While setting a table, a waiter dropped a fork on the floor. It was not placed on the table, but taken away.

The food tasted good. Unfortunately, the positive impression was completely spoiled by the service. The waitress was clearly annoyed and seemed very unfriendly. Her demeanor spoke volumes – she constantly rolled her eyes while serving, and she literally threw beer mats onto the table. This is completely unacceptable in the hospitality industry. The appearance was also unfortunately not particularly appetizing: extremely long, neon-yellow fingernails, which in a restaurant are more off-putting than inviting. Overall, it's a shame, because the restaurant has much more potential with better service.

Great place, super friendly and helpful staff. The food was served very quickly and was very good. Although the meat in the roast beef with onions was a bit hard to bite into (but it was cooked well). The fries are homemade, in my opinion, and really good. Unfortunately, parking is a bit difficult, or we simply couldn't find the right spot.

I am so impressed with Klosterwirt that I now order takeaway regularly. Very tasty every time, special requests are reliably implemented, and the staff are always very friendly and accommodating. It is rounded off with the option of receiving the food in deposit boxes to avoid packaging waste. It's best to come without a car, as the few parking spaces are usually full at all times.
