Tolles gemütliches Restaurant, große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Unser Essen war geschmacklich sehr lecker und die Portionen waren groß. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Sehr gutes Essen mit tollem Service in schöner Umgebung. Preise haben ganz schön angezogen aber das ist verständlich und man bekommt im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Restaurants einen passenden Gegenwert. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Sehr leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen. Toller Tellersprache sowie erstklassiger Service. Es war einfach TOP! Sehr gerne wieder.

Schade. Früher konnte man hier gut zu Mittag essen und wir waren Stammgäste. Heute waren wir das letzte mal, es ist einfach nur noch eine Frechheit. - Der bestellte Salat kommt nicht. - Der Hauptgang bestand aus Spaghetti Bolognese und man hat vergessen das Rindfleisch rein zu tun. Nudeln mit Tomatensauce wie ein Fertiggericht. - Die Ofenkartoffel hat nach gar nichts geschmeckt. Einfach nur fad. Der Kellner erklärte bei der Beschwerde, dass der Chefkoch Dienstags nicht da ist und das dann mit der Küche halt nicht so richtig funzt. Ansonsten hat er aber nur mit den Schultern gezuckt. Ja wo gibts denn sowas. Meine Kollegen und ich werden nicht mehr hingehen, das war das dritte mal, dass wir reingefallen sind. Schade.

I was a guest with my partner and absolutely loved the experience. Apart from the food - which was excellent - I have never experienced such attentive and friendly service. You didn't have to wait for anything. Absolutely attentive and not intrusive. Our waitress was called Kathrin, whom we would like to say hello to once again. Kind regards from Saxony. Very, very tasty food, really decoratively arranged on the plate and the portion is sufficient. Price-performance ratio is right because, according to the service employee, everything is made by hand (fries, herb butter or, as in my case, triple potatoes). 😃 The one star less in terms of ambience is the location directly on the main street, which somewhat spoils the comfort of sitting in the garden.

Excellent welcome even though I don't speak German and we hadn't booked: the staff did everything they could to make us feel at ease and to explain the dishes on offer. The restaurant with ample outdoor parking has tables both indoors and under a beautiful pergola. The meat was simply delicious, soft enough to be cut with a fork, plentiful as was the portion of potatoes. Price absolutely in line with quality and service. That was a wonderful evening. Very customer friendly service and great food. We all enjoyed the schnitzel, fish, salad and the starter of fried sweet potatoes. The small beer tasting was really sweet and delicious. The schnapps menu in particular has a very good and local selection from the Steinhauser distillery. The apple brandy is highly recommended.

Wow... Just wow. The food was incredibly delicious. I had an onion roast with cheese spaetzle. Yummy. Absolutely recommended. The service was perfect and very child friendly. The prices are also absolutely fair for this quality and portions. The kids had Maultaschen with gravy... I could have eaten it straight away as dessert (if the portions hadn't been so big :)) Unfortunately too far away to eat here regularly. Otherwise I would be a regular at this restaurant

Very good restaurant, friendly staff, very good food. The 2 of us went to the Essen restaurant 3 times. The restaurant was in the immediate vicinity of our hotel. We were disappointed that we couldn't get a table on the last day of our stay, even though we told the waiter that we would come back the next evening. We were offered a seat at the counter but declined. We were very disappointed.

I was at the Klosterwirth for the first time today and I was pleasantly surprised. I reserved the table online and received a confirmation quickly. As soon as we entered we were greeted warmly and escorted to the table. We had a Lillet and a lavender spritz - very tasty! For the main course we had a salad with goat cheese and fig dressing and the vegetarian Swabian feast with beetroot dumplings, tomato-mozzarella Maultaschen and cheese spaetzle. All three components were very tasty and, according to the service staff, homemade. The ambience is beautifully coordinated and I'm looking forward to visiting the beer garden again. - Coffee is delicious too :)

We were there spontaneously and found it very good there. From the service to the food to the furnishings, everything was great. Nothing to complain about. German / Swabian cuisine. From Maultäschle to schnitzel and cheese spaetzle. There was an extra children's card for the kids to color in and a lolly when they left. The team is very friendly. We'd love to come back :)

Wow, where do I start? Person: super friendly and attentive. Thanks. Ambience: Even though it is on a busy street, the garden area was pleasantly quiet and the weather cooperated to sit outside. Perfect. Food: H-A-M-M-E-R! My lady was hungry for schnitzel, absolutely perfect. Very tender, perfectly breaded & fried. I tried the Klosterwirtschnitzel with Meeretic brat sauce. 1A. Very tender beef and I would have liked to bathe in the sauce. Also like to try the truffle fries, very tasty. Thank you very much for this enjoyment. One lack, perhaps because we are not familiar with the area, parking. Didn't see any signage and where we parked was a bit shabby, but all went well. If we're in the area again, we'll stop by again.

When I planned to stay overnight at the IBIS at the Aurport, I looked at which restaurants with good reviews there were in Friedrichshafen - and came across the Klosterwirt: in short, the price-performance ratio was the same. A delicious meal, large portions and nicely prepared - just great. The service, very attentive and courteous. Everything is just right here - you can tell the employees enjoy their job and the food is really great. Card payment possible without any problems. Parking lots available.

The most important thing is that the food (review the Wilde Wiese salad here) is of very good quality. If everything else is the same, that would really be a rarity. Unfortunately there are some negative things... The prices are (as is unfortunately now usual in the “greedy gastronomy”) at a very high level. Very few people can or want to afford it more than once a month. And as if that wasn't enough, I was charged the regular price instead of the one on the current lunch menu!! I'll go back and clarify this. It was certainly "just an oversight" (....). After all, this comes with a good 12% surcharge!! Then they have the “reusable principle”, which I generally welcome. Deposit is also okay. However, you shouldn't use plastic containers but stainless steel or glass or aluminum... If you already cook healthily, then that shouldn't be offset by toxic waste plastic... Update: The prices on THEIR OWN (!!) online menu do NOT match the actual horror prices. People were not accommodating. Thanks - I'll never need a salad for 18 euros again. I still remember (okay, 30 years ago) when you could get a top quality roast game for 18 DM (not EURO!!)... It almost seems as if you want to attract people with fairly fair prices and then grab a lot of money. Unfortunately, the good food can't make up for that.

Very good down-to-earth restaurant with very, very good cuisine. The staff is very friendly. Reservation is advisable. Parking is difficult, there is an unofficial parking lot 50m away.

We became aware of the restaurant by chance. From the location and from the outside, we thought “well” at first, but we were even more positively surprised when we went in. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for Swabian dishes. I really liked that the staff was super friendly. I would definitely like to come back.

Very tasty food and good selection of vegetarian dishes. The selection of drinks is also considerable. The staff was quick and friendly and our dog felt very comfortable in the corner under the corner bench. We will definitely come back next time we visit Lake Constance!

We had dinner with six people. I had previously reserved a table by email. The reservation was problem-free and received a positive response within a few minutes. Everyone enjoyed the food very much. We wanted to make another reservation the next day. But that wasn't possible because it's unfortunately closed on Sundays. We will eat there again next time we visit Friedrichshafen. I'm looking forward to :-).

I've wanted to go to the Klosterwirt for a long time because I liked the menu so much. We had mushrooms in oil as a starter and a salad with beef and beetroot bread dumplings as a main course, and affogato for dessert. We enjoyed it very much and we will definitely come back. There is still a lot to discover, for me especially vegetarian dishes. It was difficult for me to choose. The service was excellent and we liked the atmosphere and felt comfortable.

Went there spontaneously today (after the TWB) and were given a place in the guest garden upon request. Very friendly staff and great service. The food (starter and main course) was super delicious! The Klosterwirt deserves 5 stars. Would love to come back next year, so highly recommended.

We made a reservation online in the morning and I received confirmation a short time later. We were served in a friendly and courteous manner, food came quickly even though there was a lot going on. The food itself was a culinary delight. Really really tasty. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Friedrichshafen! 🫶🏽

I've never been there before, I've heard a lot of good things. Ate gourmet salad today, I was really disappointed.... Salad was prepared from a ready-made bag, meat slices were cold, light as if cooked and had no taste. Bread was like second third day old. My girlfriend had Käsespetzle which was lukewarm, but it was way overpriced. I'll never, ever come back.

The four of us were there in the evening after mass. Without exception, all employees are extremely professional and enthusiastic about their work: with charm, quick and precise, every word is appropriate! incredibly well-working team! The not overly full menu and the very original dessert menu are very, very appealing. All of this is crowned by the excellent cuisine. The beers are highly recommended. I can only advise everyone to visit this restaurant - I have rarely felt so comfortable, a restaurant with an incredibly positive atmosphere and fair prices.

All in all it was good, but prices were sporty. I wouldn't have eaten there privately. The service staff wasn't very friendly either. Seemed very listless. Conclusion: would still go again, but only just.

Solid and attractively priced lunch menu.

Vegetarian food can be so delicious - unfortunately, many restaurants still fail to implement this and there is always the same thing, which doesn't taste the same. The starter with the three spreads was really delicious! The main course, the vegetarian trio as well, the service class and the selection of drinks as well. You don't expect that when you drive past it.

We had dinner at the Klosterwirt. Unfortunately there are only a few parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant. Additional parking spaces are hidden to the left of the building, unfortunately not signposted and only explained upon request. The food was really tasty and the prices were OK. The waiter wasn't the friendliest but overall it was okay.

We had dinner with 13 people. Everything worked out great, the service staff was really nice. The food came to the table at the same time for everyone so we could eat together. The dishes were all beautifully prepared and very, very tasty. 5 stars, you deserve them.

Went on Tuesday March 12th evening without a reservation. The place was relatively full and we received a friendly welcome. We got a good table. The waiter was really super friendly the whole evening. The food was amazing including dessert. We will definitely come back on our next vacation

Great cuisine with a twist, "bistro plate" my favorite, and the incredible salad dressing as a delicacy on top. The only small downer is the volume level, but that has to do with the historic wooden ceilings. Otherwise, unreserved recommendation, and always make a reservation!

Cozy atmosphere. The food in the evening was tasty, although the portions were small and the prices were rather high. But there is a very tasty lunch menu with unusual dishes that change weekly.

Was here in week 9/2024 with teammates for afterwork beer and something to eat. Since the following night I have been lying flat for three days with stomach/intestinal colic and am on sick leave. I should never have touched this strange looking cheeseburger. It was very likely that the paddy was no longer suitable for consumption. Furthermore, the volume in the restaurant was like that of an English beer pub when a championship was won. Normal conversation at the table was rarely possible because of the abnormal volume from the neighboring tables. Once and never again.

I don't understand the people here who write that the food is particularly great. Apparently I made a mistake. A pity...

We had dinner with 11 people. The food was delivered at the same time and the service was friendly and accommodating. We had someone with us who had to eat vegan and gluten-free. The food was very well tolerated. We will be back!

Very nice but somewhat hidden restaurant. At first glance the building looks a bit inconspicuous and older, but inside everything is very modern and well furnished.
