Been to Hopfengaten again for a long time. Sun., table for 4 people reserved for 6:00 p.m. Service (boss) very friendly and helpful. Always a smile 🙂. The food options include German, Indian and Italian dishes. The food (Pizza Hawai, Pizza Primavera, cream schnitzel with side dishes and turkey schnitzel Chrunchy crust with side dishes). The food was served about 30 minutes later after the drinks. All 4 people present at the table were very enthusiastic about the quality and the above-average taste. After the meal we ordered espresso. This was served quickly and very hot for everyone - top 👍 We'll definitely be back. Table has been ordered for the Boxing Day holiday. Family dinner, everyone had a different dish and we were all very satisfied. The service is excellent and the restaurant offers a great ambience, hence 5 stars on everything.

I celebrate the Indian pizza with mozzarella crust. The pizza is thin as it should be. With curry and ginger and chili it has just the right amount of spiciness. Certainly not for everyone - but I love them. Always the same quality for many years! Thanks for that.

We love the restaurant and are always very satisfied. Price/performance is very good, the food is ALWAYS tasty and the service is always friendly and accommodating. We particularly like the family atmosphere.

Food was good to very good. We each tipped almost 10%. The service is basically nice and accommodating, but when I think about it, it's kind of rude. When we asked if the soup was still coming, we were told that you only have two hands. And when I wanted ice for my drink, they claimed that the drink bottle was already chilled, which unfortunately wasn't true. My friend, who drank the same thing, confirmed this to me. Firstly, I would just like to hear that the soup is coming soon. And secondly, that they give me a piece of ice cream without comment. I like to drink the drink watered down because it tastes better that way. No, I don't want to dilute it with cold water. Thanks. It is not appropriate for the service staff to gossip about the guests just because a guest wanted their meal together and asked too hastily. It's not nice that you feel this "misbehavior" all evening long. I was still surprised that the lady of the house had emphasized the words “with ice and lemon” so much. I think it's because she said this to the waitress, along the lines of: "They want something extra now." I worked as a waitress for years and would never have thought of such arrogant behavior. Unfortunately, I was in too good a mood and distracted that I didn't realize it right away. We said a nice goodbye to the owners and even said hello again on the street outside. I really only noticed this when I got home.

Cozy restaurant with international and Indian cuisine, in an almost historic building with a beer garden in the Kesselstadt. The service is very friendly and the food, especially the Indian dish, is excellent. We would be happy to come back.

I didn't eat anything on my last visit, but the service was very good and the beer garden was beautiful. The food at the next table looked very tasty and rich.

Went there for a funeral coffee and everything was top notch.

We once again got pizza from the old-established Hopfengarten and were absolutely satisfied. The Punjabi pizza with delicious curry is something completely different, really good, but I can also absolutely recommend my beloved Diavolo. Rich toppings and pizza base as it should be. Always my pleasure.

I wasn't happy, the food was OK, the service less so. I had to wait 15 minutes before I could pay because the landlord wasn't finished talking.

Visited the restaurant for the first time. We chose 2 Indian dishes that we really enjoyed. Friendly service, very extensive menu and moderate prices. The entrance area is a bit dark and old-fashioned. Nevertheless, a recommendation and we will come back to try out more dishes. Then maybe in the back, more modern area.

Great atmosphere after renovation. Nice service and always very tasty food. The pizza in particular is one of the best in Hanau. Keep it up !!

I had dinner with friends and unfortunately we were very dissatisfied. The food, apart from the pizza, was edible, but in my opinion. warmed up and served unwelcome. Serving salad in cafeteria plates is not exactly inviting, and of course neither is the salad. The friend's pizza was very tasty! However, my Bolognese schnitzel was brought to the table unappetizing and cool, watery. Chicken curry, served dried out and tasteless. When asked if we liked it, there was no response, on the contrary, the boss himself came to our table with a piece of the meat and felt forced to explain himself for a while. My mineral water was nice and cool, but my friends' wine seemed a little open in the bottle. Criticism was not accepted. There would be no dessert on our part. An espresso or something similar would be ignored by the house. It was probably our fault that we ate there the first day after all the holidays!!!

A very good restaurant with a big variety of delicious food. The owner’s offer a very good service. They are always kind and friendly. You can choose inbetween German, Indian and Italian food. I celebrated my birthday there and I was very satisfied with the service and the buffet they had offered. I will come back for sure.

Ich bin schon seit vielen Jahren Gast hier. Leider in letzter Zeit durch Umzug nicht mehr so häufig. Dennoch kommen wir immernoch, trotz längerer Anreise gern hier her. In all diesen Jahren ist das Essen super lecker, der Service super.

Die Speisekarte bietet viel leckere Auswahl, ob indische, italienische oder deutsche Küche, ich habe bereits von Vielem gekostet und alles, wirklich alles schmeckt sehr sehr gut 👍 ein Ort für sehr gutes Essen und zum Genießen!!!

Eine wahre Bereicherung der Gaststättenszene! Ob Italienisch oder Indisch oder Geflügel zu Martini, immer gut gegessen! Die Inhaber gehen auf Wünsche ein, also einfach mal fragen, auch nach den Tagesgerichten (sehr lecker).

Wir waren zu zweit da, hatten vorreserviert. Ich bin etwas überrascht von den guten Bewertungen hier was den Service angeht. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass überhaupt nichts organisiert wirkte. Die Bedienung war alleine und wirkte sehr gestresst und überfordert. Das Getränk meiner Begleitung wurde vergessen zu bringen. Selbst als dann zwei Leute für den Service da waren, wirkte alles unkoordiniert. Freundlich waren sie gewesen, aber immer noch gehetzt. Ebenfalls merkwürdig fanden wir, dass man nur Drinnen Kartenabrechnung machen konnte. Gefragt wurde auch nicht ob getrennt oder einzeln abgerechnet werden soll. Das Restaurant ist sauber gehalten, die WCs ebenfalls. Der Außenbereich könnte mal neu bestuhlt werden, das wirkt nicht mehr wirklich zeitgemäß. Das Essen war dagegen wirklich sehr lecker und ausreichend gewesen. Auch preislich ist das alles absolut in Ordnung. Ich möchte wirklich hier keine schlechte Bewertung abgeben, vielleicht war das mit dem Service eine Ausnahme gewesen, gerade weil andere Gäste weitaus bessere Erfahrungen gemacht haben, aber ich kann dafür keine drei Sterne oder höher geben. Fazit: Uns hat das Gesamtpaket nicht überzeugt. Ich gehe doch öfter gerne mit Freunden Essen, dieses Jahr war es hier leider die schwächste Location gewesen. Ich möchte betonen, dass ich mir gut überlegt habe, wie ich dieses Restaurant bewerten kann, denn es soll fair und ehrlich erfolgen. Mir ist bewusst, dass solche Bewertungen Folgen für das Restaurant haben können, doch vielleicht ist es auch ein Wink mit dem Zaunpfahl, den Ablauf im Service mal zu checken. Eine Bedienung alleine kann nicht Innen und Außen gleichzeitig sein. Es kann auch nicht sein, dass eine Servicekraft jedes Teil einzeln rein oder raus trägt, dann nicht einmal durch die Tische geht und nach eventuellen Wünschen fragt.

Die Pizza war gut, wenn man mal schnell was Essen und trinken möchte, ist es okay.

Es gibt zwei Kellnerinnen, die sind richtig lieb und aufmerksam. sehr nette Mädchen passen immer auf und bringen alles sofort. Würd ich jedem weiterempfehlen und sehr leckeres Essen auf jeden Fall !! 10/10

Schönes „Alltagsrestaurant“ mitten in Hanau. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, schneller Service und leckeres Essen. Die Speisekarte ist recht vielseitig. Es lohnt sich.

Wir hatten gestern eine kleine Feier mit 15 Leuten im Hopfengarten. Alle Mitarbeiter waren ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Auf Sonderwünsche und Umbestellungen der Beilagen wurde eingegangen. Es gab eine große Auswahl an deutschen, italienischen und indischen Gerichten sowie eine saisonale Karte mit Pfifferlingen. Ich war nicht zum ersten Mal im Hopfengarten und fand auch diesmal das Essen sehr gut. Alle 15 Gerichte wurden zeitgleich und warm serviert, was nicht jeder Gastronom so perfekt hinbekommt. Ich war auch diesmal wieder rundum zufrieden und kann den Hopfengarten empfehlen. iWork werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Im Hopfengarten, weiß man was man hat. Faire Preise zu Top solider Qualität. Wenn ich einfach nur Hunger hab und keine Enttäuschung will bin ich bei euch. Ich wünsch euch weiter viel Erfolg.

War noch nie da, und nun zur privaten Feier. Schönes kleines Restaurant. Pizza konnte ich nicht probieren, das Buffet war aber recht gut und der Nachtisch reichhaltig. War als Gast bei der Feier, daher kann ich hier nichts zu Preisen und Speisen berichten!

Seit über 20 Jahren die gleichen, freundlichen Besitzer. Essen sehr gut. Pizza besser als beim Italiener und gute indische Gerichte.

Den Hopfengarten kenne ich schon einige Jahre. Nach sukzessive Renovierung sieht das Restaurant inzwischen "gegenwärtig" aus, zuvor hatte es einen antiquierten Charme. Der Wirt ist eine Kultfigur schlechthin. Er merkt sich ALLES, ohne Aufschreiben, unfassbar. Das Essen ist lecker, Indisch SUPER, aber auch andere Speisen. Der Service ist flott und freundlich. Es gibt einen Außenbereich, dem gegenüber ein winziger Park ist, durchaus auch eine total schöne Umgebung im Stadtteil Alt-Kesselstadt, die zu einem Spaziergang einlädt. Einen Parkplatz findet man immer in der Nähe. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Ich freue mich immer, wenn ich zum Essen dorthin gehe. Hoffe, er bleibt - auch nach so vielen Jahren.
