A meal for four. All dishes were top. Quality, quantity were great. The prices are high but reasonable. A complaint was re-served to our complete satisfaction. We become regulars.

Food good, price performance too high, paper tablecloth no beer mats, cold drinks so the tablecloth floats very badly, and tables are too close together, won't go back again, a shame

Steakhouse with an imaginative menu, meat portions ranging from small to large, fast and friendly service. Everything tastes first class, from the salad dressing to steaks to the NY cheesecake for dessert. Parking spaces directly at the house.

The Friday buffet (€36 pp (May 2024) + drinks) is a clear recommendation for all steak lovers! This is exactly why a friend recommended the restaurant to me. So we went there with the wife and children, the atmosphere is more family-friendly, the staff was super family-friendly and everyone was full at the end. The steak selection in the buffet was great, even for Muslims, so we had to take a short break in the meantime (because it also tasted very good). The children were also fed up, and the fact that the dessert selection was without gelatin was the cherry on the cake. In the end we were blown away by the price because the kids didn't have to pay (because they ate more vegetables and dessert). This restaurant has definitely won us over as customers and we will come here more often in the future, especially because of the friendliness and charm of the staff.

Burgers, steaks, spare ribs and fish as well as something vegetarian. Prices are justified because the portions you get are more than enough. In terms of quality, everything is top as is the ambience because you immediately feel at home and can enjoy your food in peace. Buffet is just great, you definitely get something for your money and not just in terms of taste but also visually.

So maybe it was a classic case of expectations being too high and being in the wrong place on the wrong day...after hearing so many great things, my wife and I went to the Dorfkrug for the first time this evening. Fridays are steak buffets. Ribs, rump steak, chops, chorizo, side dishes etc...really a wide selection of food. Unfortunately, this exact meal was not at the level we were looking forward to given the good reviews and prices. The mac'n'cheese, the potato gratin, the fried vegetables...all pretty bland. The meat was of great quality, but some of it was very cold, which is unavoidable at a buffet. The service was friendly, the atmosphere wasn't that nice. Overall it was a nice evening but as already mentioned it fell short of our expectations. We are convinced that a buffet style is not beneficial for such a meal. We will definitely give the Dorfkrug a second chance, namely for á la carte. We are sure that the freshly prepared food will meet significantly higher standards. So better rating is possible ;)

The restaurant is recommended without exception. Burgers, fries, steaks, salad etc. were all very tasty and of high quality. The ambience fits well. The service was very friendly and attentive. I found the prices to be reasonable. We felt good. There are also parking spaces in front of the restaurant.

WOW!!! Portugal meets Texas in a small village in northern Germany :) Simply incredibly delicious. Here, not only the chef knows his craft, but also the entire staff. A very courteous service with a North German relaxedness that you couldn't find better... We were totally pampered from start to finish. The meat was an absolute delight, perfectly fried and served with delicious side dishes. The drinks and desserts were also delicious. This STEAK HOUSE lives up to its name. Top quality is our top priority from A to Z. ONLY RECOMMEND!!! I'll be back.

Excellent, very exquisite dishes

We have been there several times with the children. I can highly recommend the buffets. Very nice service and a totally relaxed atmosphere.

All in all great!!! Deserves 5 stars. Went there spontaneously and still managed to get space (reservation is highly recommended) The food was delicious and freshly prepared, you can also taste that high-quality products were used. Portions fill you up well. The staff was very friendly and asked several times if everything was OK. The restaurant was fully occupied, but the friendliness remained and they tried very hard to ensure quick service and customer satisfaction. Everything was clean, including the sanitary area. Personally, I was impressed by the superior service. You don't have it that often anymore and you wouldn't have expected it at first😉

I live in Beverstedt for 6 months. That was the first time I ate Zum Dorfkrug by de Marco. The meat is of great quality, the service staff are super nice, and everything tastes delicious.

Fleisch sehr zäh, Service extrem unfreundlich und nicht zuvorkommend. Insgesamt alles in allem kein gerechtfertigtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Nachtrag, übrigens: wenn ihr schon fremdenfeindliche Kommentare auf Facebook liket, dann macht das doch mit eurem privaten Account, und nicht mit dem Account eures Restaurant 😉

For us it's settled here. Several times we had small errors in our orders. We used to make the effort and always call them or inform them in writing. At some point we accepted it that way. Unfortunately, the last time I ordered the bun was too hard, the meat patty was tough and the side dishes were wrong. Yesterday we wanted to order there and, like last time, redeem our remaining voucher (vouchers only for consumption in the house but it was discussed that we could also redeem it outside the house as an exception). Suddenly it says that the voucher can only be redeemed in the house. An absolute no go for me! Of course it says so on his voucher, but it's still not morally right. The shop has much higher prices in-house than out-of-house and that is why it should only be used in the restaurant.

First-class meat, great service, nice boss. You have to experience it!!

The atmosphere was great. Everything was festively decorated and the table was beautifully set. Unfortunately the waitresses were only two. So the drinks and especially the food were a long time coming. After 2 hours we asked. Unfortunately the kitchen would be overloaded and the service would be understaffed. It's a shame because the food was good and still leaves a bad aftertaste.

The challenge for every chef/restaurant is to maintain and further develop the good quality that has already been achieved. To our regret, this was not achieved in any way yesterday evening.

The food was great, the staff tried hard, but they were always in a rush and we always had to order drinks ourselves. I know you don't have enough staff, but then you have to reduce the guests. We would have drunk a lot more and the earnings would have been the same.

Loved everything about it! Food, service and atmosphere. Very high quality food. Went two nights in a row. Short train ride from Bremen with a two minute walk from train station. The owner and his wife are great people and want all patrons happy and satisfied. Definitely give it a try.

Das Essen war perfekt. Von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr einladend. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön und sauber. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Es war ein sehr nettes und tolles Team, denn wir waren mit 8 Männern vor Ort, einer lauter als der andere, aber das Team blieb sehr freundlich...... Hut ab dafür. Das Thomak-Steak ist sehr lecker und man sollte es definitiv Medium oder da drunter essen, denn es ist kaum möglich (ohne es fast zu verbrennen) "gar" oder "Medium well" zu servieren. Darauf wird man auch beim Bestellen hingewiesen. Also definitiv sehr empfehlenswert und ich freu mich auf das nächste Mal.....

Mega essen! Man schmeckt das es alles selbst gemacht wurde!Es wird höflich bedient und man wird einfach tolö behandelt und für einen Burger mit pommes 20-27€(Je nach dem was man nimmt),kann man wirklich nichts zu sagen also im großen und ganzen immer gern wieder! Fahr nicht fort,Futter im Ort🍔🍺

Wir sind zum dritten Mal hier und können es einfach nur empfehlen. Heute hatten wir den Hometown Burger mit Curly Frites. Genial lecker, aber sehr mächtig.

Wir waren ohne Reservierung das erste Mal im Restaurant „Zum Dorfkrug“. Der erste Eindruck war das die Bedingungen viel zu tun hatten. Im weiteren Verlauf hatten wir aber einen ruhigen Tisch bekommen und wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Das Essen war qualitativ einwandfrei und zudem auch sehr lecker. Ich hatte den Hirschrücken (ca. 30€) und mein Mann einen Burger (ca. 18€). Beides war das Geld wert! Der Hirschrücken war butterzart und von der Menge her reichlich. Gerne hätte ich noch etwas mehr von der wirklich leckeren Soße gehabt, leider wurde die falsche „Nachgeliefert“. Der Burger war ohne Knorpel und aus zartem selbstgemachte Rinderhackfleisch, welches wie gehofft noch rosa in der Mitte war ;) die Curlfries waren knusprig und frisch. Etwas enttäuscht war ich bei der Auswahl an offenen Weinen (ich bin aber auch gebürtige Pfälzerin). Die Dekoration im Restaurant ließ auf eine große Auswahl an (offenen) Weinen hoffen. Leider gab es nur einen offenen trockenen Rotwein. Diesen durfte ich aber zuvor probieren und habe ihn dann auch bestellt. Es scheint nicht viele Weintrinker zum Essen in dem Restaurant zu geben, denn ich denke sonst wäre die Weinauswahl großzügiger. Gerne gebe ich auch Tipps für gute Weine :) die offen angeboten werden können… Dies ist aber kein Manko und alles im allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wir waren gestern Abend zum ersten Mal im Steakhouse De Marco in Lunestedt. Obwohl man versucht hat das Ambiente etwas aufzuwerten, erinnert doch vieles sehr noch an ein Landgasthaus. Wir wurden vom Personal sehr nett empfangen und konnten uns fast noch einen Platz aussuchen, da das Restaurant nicht gut besucht war. Die Preise auf der Karte wären für hochwertige Gerichte in Ordnung ( wobei für eine Umgestaltung von Reis auf Pommes 1,50€!!! verlangt werden). Nach einer nicht nachvollziehbaren Wartezeit von einer Stunde kam das Essen. Mein Steak war gut, heiß und wie bestellt. Aber!!!! : Der vegetarische Burger meiner Frau war eine Frechheit. Kalt, TK Ware, der Buns aus der Tüte, kein frisches Gemüse, einfach Geschmacklos für 15,50€.!!! Auf das Manko aufmerksam gemacht wurde kaum reagiert. Das bekommt Mc Donalds sogar besser hin.

Leider nicht zu empfehlen.... Erst mussten wir 20min auf unsere Getränke warten ( es waren 5 Tische à 2 Leute besetzt und wir auch nur zu zweit) dann kam ein falsches Bier und später hieß es, das Fass wurde vertauscht 🤔 Die Vorspeisen Platte (17,-!) War eine Frechheit! In einem "Steakhouse" UND bei diesen Preisen erwarte ich, dass der gewünschte Gargrad getroffen wird! Das Filet war statt blutig nur medium und das Porterhouse Steak (60,-!) war fast durch statt medium!! Als wir dies dem Service sagten, hieß es nur dass es sicher besser wird, sobald man näher an den Knochen kommt 🙆 sorry, aber wir kommen nicht wieder!

Prima Steaks super Fleischqualität. Preis dafür absolut angemessen. Schön, dass es so ein Steakhouse in Lunestedt gibt👍

Wir waren bereits mehrfach hier essen und uns hat es immer gefallen. Das Essen ist abwechslungsreich und immer auf den Punkt. In der Karte findet jeder das Passende. Auch unsere Freunde, die einen etwas längeren Weg auf sich nehmen mussten, waren begeistert. Preise sind auch noch ok, wir kommen gerne wieder

Zwar preis-, aber auch geschmacksintensiv. Reservieren würde ich empfehlen.

Sehr leckere Essen und nette Bedienung. Es ist zwar etwas abgelegen, aber auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. 👍🏻 Die Nachos mit Rindfleisch als Vorspeise waren echt der Oberhammer.

Perfektes Essen ! &Super Service :) Mit etwas warten, aber die Damen im Service waren auch nur zu zweit. & der Laden voll. Sie haben ihr bestes geben und hatten steht’s ein Lächeln auf den Lippen.

Wir waren zu zweit an meinem Geburtstag dort. Alles mit Weingläsern eingedeckt die zu unserem Besuch nur zu 5% genutzt wurden. Dadurch wurden ständig Gläser von den Tischen geräumt- störend wenn man einen ruhigen Abend verbringen möchte. Unsere beiden Burger waren OK aber nicht herausragend. Als wir dies auf Fragen der Bedienung mitteilten kam auch prompt der Inhaber und stellte sich VOR unseren Tisch um uns zu belehren. Kein professioneller Umgang mit Kritik. Es ist sicherlich einen Versuch wert, dem einen gefällt es, uns leider nicht. xxxx bei allem Respekt an Sie als Inhaber aber von einem Nobelrestaurant sind Sie noch deutlich entfernt xxxx Wir hatten einen angeschlagenen Teller, das eingesetzte Service ist von unterschiedlichen Serien und Farbe. Vermutlich wollen Sie in der oberen Liga mitspielen, davon ist die Ausstattung, Deko, Servicepersonal und das von uns gewählten Essen wirklich deutlich entfernt. Zusätzlich hat mein Mann dann auch noch die falschen Pommes erhalten- dies haben wir bei Ihnen im Restaurant schon garnicht mehr erwähnt. Wir wünschen Ihnen trotzdem mit Ihrer Vorstellung den Wünschen Ihrer Gäste gerecht zu werden. Ich setze einen 10er drauf, dass Bier besser geht...soviel zum Fisch und dem Wurm.

Die Steaks (und Beilagen) waren perfekt, selten so gutes Fleisch gegessen. Der Service war super freundlich und aufmerksam. Das einzige was etwas gestört hat war, dass die Tische für 2 Personen etwas zu klein und damit zu überladen sind. Deko + Vorspeiße + 2 Hauptgänge brauchen ihren Platz. Die gute Bierkarte war ein toller Bonus.

Essen top, kommen gerne wieder, aber der Service ist noch ausbaufähig, dann gerne fünf Sterne Waren vor kurzem wieder hier. Essen wie immer total lecker. Diesmal war auch der Service super. Deshalb wie angekündigt jetzt die vollen 5 Sterne
