Ich gehe seit vielen Jahren mit meiner Familie zu Zorbas, und für uns ist es längst mehr als nur ein Restaurant. Meine Großeltern waren schon dort essen, bevor der Laden an seinem jetzigen Standort war, und diese Verbindung merkt man bis heute. Das Essen ist durchgehend richtig gut. Frisch, reichlich und einfach ehrlich gemacht. Man bekommt genau das, was man sich von einem griechischen Restaurant wünscht, ohne Enttäuschungen. Was den Laden aber wirklich besonders macht, sind die Menschen dort. Dimitri, der Besitzer, begrüßt einen persönlich und gibt einem das Gefühl, wirklich willkommen zu sein. Auch das Team drum herum, wie Niko und die anderen Bedienungen, sind aufmerksam, freundlich und locker im Umgang. Man fühlt sich nicht wie irgendein Gast, sondern wie jemand, den man kennt. Am Ende gibt es oft noch eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit aufs Haus, was das Ganze abrundet, ohne aufgesetzt zu wirken. Für mich ist Zorbas ein echter Familiengrieche. Ein Ort, zu dem man immer wieder gerne zurückkommt, weil einfach alles passt.

Absolut zu empfehlen. Das Essen war sehr lecker, Fleisch sehr zart. Der Service wirklich außerordentlich gastfreundlich.

Oh was war das lecker und vor allem heiß serviert. Die Getränke sehr gut gekühlt. Endlich mal ein Griechisches Restaurant, bei dem alles passt. Und der Inhaber macht es genau richtig. Er hat viele Jahre hart gearbeitet, ist nun über 60 Jahre und möchte auch mal leben und genießen. Ich gönne ihm seine freie Zeit am Wochenende, an dem sein Lokal geschlossen ist.

Im Januar habe ich bei Ihnen einen Tisch für den 14.2. reserviert. Dies haben Sie sogar in Ihr Buch eingetragen und mündlich mit mir noch darüber gescherzt, da es sich um Valentinstag handelte. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass Sie samstags nicht geöffnet haben. Sie haben mir dies jedoch auch nicht gesagt, sondern den Tisch für mich reserviert, sodass wir an so einem Tag, wie gestern vor geschlossener Tür standen. Den Tag hätten wir demnach auch woanders verbringen können, was uns nun wegen des hohen Aufgebots versagt wurde. Ich finde dieses Verhalten nicht in Ordnung. Beim Ausmachen des Termins war der Mitarbeiter schon etwas unhöflich und wollte sich kaum Zeit für mich nehmen und hat nur genervt geäußert: ,,Ich habe keine Zeit für Sie. Sie müssen warten“ und dies in einem unfreundlichen Ton. Nachdem ich ca 15 Minuten gewartet habe, kam er wieder und scherzte noch mit mir über den Valentinstag. Das sollte nicht noch einmal passieren. Wir waren sehr empört und enttäuscht und werden wohl oder übel nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Beim Reservieren wurde nicht erwähnt, dass es eine Silvesterkarte mit 6 Gerichten zur Auswahl gibt. Die Preise waren überzogen. Das Essen war geschmacklich und auch optisch nicht ansprechend. Die Portionen waren relativ klein.

Wir waren mit acht Leuten dort und alle waren bestens zufrieden. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend!

Gutes Essen, etwas kleine Portionen…Würde Vergrößerung empfehlen. Werde in 6 Monaten wiederkommen und ggf. Bewertung anpassen. Netter Gastgeber!!

Sehr leckeres Essen und nettes Personal.

The food was okay, the service was excellent and friendly. We were there with a group of 11 people. When it came time to pay and the first person wanted to pay with a card, the manager got really rude and told us we should never come back if we paid with a card. The end result was that 9 people paid with cards, and those who paid with cash were just fine until they said they needed a receipt, which turned out to be just plain silly customers. I think everyone understands what's going on here, but unfortunately, this was the first and last time for us.

First, the facts: The food was perfectly fine, as was the service throughout our stay. The dishes were solid, the waitress friendly – ​​it could have been a perfect evening. But what happened during the payment process was unprofessional and unacceptable in every respect. When some members of our 11-person group expressed their wish to pay by card, we were addressed personally by the manager in a tone of voice unparalleled in the restaurant industry. Original quote: "Next time you want to pay by card, don't come here." One guest in the group then decided to pay in cash. The manager was initially delighted with this decision – until the guest demanded a proper bill. At this point, the mood suddenly changed again. He was told in no uncertain terms that his behavior was "very sh...". From a legal perspective, it should be noted here: Issuing an invoice is not an annoying courtesy, but a matter of course and a legally enshrined obligation. The fact that a guest is treated this way for exercising this right speaks volumes about the understanding of customer focus cultivated here. This behavior by the chef was not only disrespectful, but also commercially unwise. Our group of 11 will consistently avoid this restaurant in the future. A return visit is out of the question. It's a shame, because the food and service would have certainly warranted a positive review. However, the way we handled the payment process destroyed any trust – and this with a clarity that could hardly have been better constructed.

My friends and I regularly went to our favorite Greek restaurant until Friday. No question... the food was delicious, as always. Now for the but: When we wanted to pay by card, and separately, the manager became very loud and rude, something we'd never experienced before! He yelled at us in front of all the guests at the counter, asking why we didn't have any cash on hand and threatened to no longer serve us without cash. We're truly at a loss for words and will avoid this place in the future!!!

We were there on a Saturday night. There was no atmosphere. Not what we're used to at other Greek restaurants. The interior could use a fresh coat of paint. That would also make the old furniture less noticeable. The food was decent, but not spectacular. We found the drinks a bit pricey. We were greeted kindly, but when I wanted to ask for mayonnaise, I had to wait for someone to come in. I wouldn't go there again.

We went out for dinner tonight, and it was very good as always. But I read about the new opening hours starting in August: they're only open during the week, closed Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I don't know why, but no restaurant can survive like that. We'll have to find somewhere new, because we only have the time and inclination to eat out on weekends.

Landed here by chance, really great, highly recommended.

I'm here for work and discovered the restaurant while exploring the city. Super tasty food in a very pleasant atmosphere. The service is extremely friendly but not intrusive. Very fair price-performance ratio. Will come back Today after 4 weeks you can only give it 5 stars again

Nice restaurant where we stop by very regularly. Prices are fair, the food comes promptly and is delicious. Mom still cooks here herself. The separate smoking area is great for us non-smokers. Only the interior could use some love and color See you soon

A nice traditional restaurant that immediately makes you feel at home. A bit old but that's exactly what we (my wife and I) like. The food was very tasty and sufficient, the staff was very friendly and competent. We had a very nice evening and will definitely come back. We are happy to recommend this restaurant. The food was edible but that was it. Service impossible, if you don't order anything after eating you are asked to leave.

The food wasn't quite ok. The anchovies weren't all cooked through, the bread was from the day before. But the service was great, there's nothing to complain about at all.

Super nice. We got a seat without booking in advance because we had just arrived. We have made another reservation for our short vacation. Looking forward to tomorrow ;-)

Unfortunately, objectively speaking, we cannot share the previous assessment. In many restaurants there is a salad plate with the main courses, but this was missing. Dessert is also completely missing. The food itself was okay, but nothing special. The furniture is also getting old. The staff is friendly, but with no sense of sales. Food was brought and the glasses were empty and we didn't ask if there was anything else... A table of 5 people next to the toilet (the only guests besides us) kept the whole room entertained - very distracting or you end up listening to nonsense about your experiences. Big advantage for me - my favorite combination is here. Bifteki with gyros. Unfortunately for me, this is only available in a few Greek restaurants. Overall, unfortunately only 2 out of 5 points. As a note - it is not enough to print just one page with the allergens on the card. All dishes should contain not only additives but also allergens.

Delicious food, friendly waiters and a nice terrace. The only downside to the terrace was that there were some wasps flying around, but nothing they could really do about it. Price/quality of the food also good. You even get a shot of Ouzo. Recommended for tasty Greek food!

The food tastes very good and the service is really authentic and very friendly. Personally, I thought the small beer garden was beautiful; you wouldn't even suspect it on such a busy road. The prices are okay. However, some portions are really manageable. Also start with the salad. 1 point deducted for this.

Food very tasty at normal prices and very nice service. More is not possible! Unfortunately, the furnishings are now very old and the rooms could do with a renovation. For this reason alone I am deducting a star.

Some of the food was !!!RAW!!! The food took an extremely long time to arrive. 60 minutes after ordering, we asked again how long it would take and were put off with "it's almost ready". 75 minutes after ordering, the food finally arrived, and while eating we discovered that both the gyros and the befteki were partly !!!ROW!!! were. The starter that was supposed to come with wheat/sesame bread came without it. When we asked, we were given super dry white bread, which had obviously been cut open for a long time (edges shriveled). The so-called service only came to the table if you explicitly asked for it several times, otherwise you were simply ignored.

The food is great. The employees are always friendly. Eating out in a restaurant should be something special and at Zorbas it definitely is Case.

I am only describing my experiences with the pick-up service here. After I ordered by phone, I was able to pick up my food after a good 30 minutes. So far so good. When I got home, I unfortunately discovered that they had forgotten to pack bread, even though the appetizers said bread was included. After a call it was no problem to pick up the bread again, first of all thank you. But now to the quality, for the money I found the quality to be more similar to a snack bar. From the quantity to the taste to the choice of product. I repeat that my experience only applies to takeaway food. I'm aware that it's always difficult to get fries properly when you're transporting them, but I've had much better. 22€ for calamari, consisting of 8 pieces that were swimming in lemon juice for a reason unknown to me. A portion of tzatziki for 5€, which in my opinion is absolutely not fair, but that's definitely a personal feeling. But what was still good was the gyros. It was still very tasty and juicy even after transport. Next time we will eat on site but not pick up food. Unfortunately that's not worth it here.

I was greeted and served very friendly. The grilled pepperoni was made with artificial garlic, the lettuce in the starter salad was already pale, and the rest was canned. The gyros dish was partly very spicy and a bit salty. The dry red wine was ok and the ouzo served was very strong. Don't come back. Nevertheless, thank you for the friendly hospitality.

We were there for the Christmas party with the band. The service was courteous and quick, the food (I had Gyros Spezial Metaxa gratinated) was very tasty and the quantity was appropriate. Of course there was also ouzo😉! So full marks and see you next time

Zufällig am 21.12.23 dort auf den Weg von Dortmund nach Hamburg dort gestrandet. Würde vermutlich meine Rezession auf fünf Sterne erhöhen, wenn ich dort noch ein zwei mal etwas anderes probieren würde. Ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, wenn man mal am Hauptbahnhof in Osnabrück „strandet“. C.a. 800 Meter entfernt.

Wir waren mit drei Personen ohne Anmeldung erschienen und haben noch einen schönen Platz bekommen! Das Essen war sehr lecker 😋!! (Wir hatten Leber, Gyros und Bifteki) Es gab vorneweg einen Ouzo was ich immer sehr schätze! Der Rotwein war auch sehr gut ! Auch mit der netten Bedienung waren wir sehr zufrieden! Ich kann Zorbas nur weiterempfehlen!!

Passt alles, ist nicht umsonst mein Lieblingsrestaurant. Große Portionen für kleines Geld. Auch Geburtstage lassen sich dort gut feiern. Freue mich schon aufs nächste Mal.

Essen gut aber leider seid ihr derzeitig Telefonnisch nicht zu erreichen

Mein Vater isst hier seit Jahren jeden Freitag und hat mich auch schon einige Male mitgenommen. Es ist immer lecker, sehr preiswert und das Personal ist absolut super freundlich. Einmal kam sogar der Chef raus und hat auf seiner Laute ein Geburtstags-Ständchen gesungen😂

Das Essen ist super! Der Service sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ( wir haben draußen gesessen) nicht so prickelnd, da nicht weit von der Hauptstraße zum Hauptbahnhof Osnabrück und somit doch ein wenig laut. Besonders wenn Einsatzfahrzeuge der Feuerwehr und Polizei im Einsatz vorbeifahren. Trotzdem empfehlenswert. 😀 Für ein griechisches Restaurant ein gute Empfehlung auch für Vegetarier.

Das Restaurant war soweit sehr schön, Essenbestellung ging auch sehr schnell allerdings beim Bezahlen hatten wir das Gefühl ignoriert zu werden. Essen war Überpfeffert und naja mehr als tot gebraten die Peperoni s waren sehr mild und das Zaziki hat eher nach Quark geschmeckt als nach Knoblauch. Das Brot dazu war weich aber ganz schön dünn geschnitten. Eine Rechnung haben wir auch nicht bekommen nur gesagt bekommen was wir zahlen müssen.

Das Essen war gut, die Bedienung war auch nett. Nur hat es leider viel zu lange gedauert bis unser Essen fertig war. Sogar auf die Vorspeise/Salate haben wir weit über 40 Minuten gewartet, obwohl wirklich nicht viele Leute da waren.

Die Einrichtung ist in die Jahren gekommen, was ich aber besser finde, als eine topmoderne Einrichtung mit ungemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Essen hat mir gut geschmeckt und ich bin satt geworden. Ich meine, dass das ist die Hauptsache bei einem Restaurantbesuch ist.

Wir wollten eigentlich nur zwei Bier trinken...aber der Service war so gut und das Essen am Nachbartisch sah so lecker aus, dass wir dann doch das volle Programm hatten.... Perfekt, ein schöner Abend.

Lokal in 90 er Jahre Look mit EM Meisterschaft 2004 mit Otto Rehnagel an der Wand. Gute Qualität und Quantität zu zivilen Preisen. Zwischendurch greift der Besitzer zu seiner griechischen Gitarre und spielt… Urlaubsflair in Osnabrück.

In allgemeinen, ein solides Grieches Restaurant. Leider waren die Vorspeisen, nicht sehr gut und das Brot wurde dazu vergessen. Der Hauptgang war, Okay. Dessert, gibt es nicht mehr auf der Karte.
