Zeppelin Hangar in Friedrichshafen

I found the food very delicious; I had a perfectly made Maultaschen soup. It tasted very good, like a classic German dish. However, I'm giving it an overall rating of 2 stars. This is due to how the staff were treated. We were sitting at the counter, and the manager shouted at her employees countless times. And not in a normal tone, but extremely noticeably and very loudly. The guests standing nearby, standing at the Zeppelin Gate, looked just as surprised. I can't imagine how the employees felt, being shouted at like that in front of so many people. In my opinion, it's completely unacceptable, and I wouldn't have let it get away with it as an employee. I don't think that's appropriate. A manager should, of course, be strict and strict, but in my opinion, this was pure embarrassment.

Last weekend, after a fantastic Zeppelin flight, we went to the restaurant. We were quite disappointed. Even though it wasn't particularly busy, it took forever to get served. After waiting quite a while for our food, we were disappointed again. The fries were soggy, and what I saw on the plate next to me was definitely a disgrace; you couldn't even tell that it was supposed to be spaetzle. It was just disappointing.

After a wonderful Zeppelin flight, we went to the restaurant in the Zeppelin hangar for dinner. After about 30 minutes and the question “what do we have to do to be able to order?” our order was taken. I ordered the Swabian feast. After another 30 to 40 minutes the food was served to me. What can I say, I have never been presented with such “underground food” in the truest sense of the word. The fact that food like this leaves the kitchen is unbelievable. There should be cheese noodles on the plate. I only found a porridge here. The rest of the plate didn't look much better either. Unfortunately, out of sheer horror, I forgot to take a photo. Of course I complained about my food. They took the plate back without offering me an alternative. I ended up leaving the restaurant hungry. I'm still horrified. A clear NO GO from my side

We were there last time 2 years ago. It used to be more often, but unfortunately less now due to moving. But still just INCREDIBLY tasty and perfectly prepared. My partner rib eye and I had three kinds of fish. With risotto and asparagus. A dream. Thanks ! Service also great. Gladly again! Price is also decent, but it's worth it to us!

I visited this restaurant last weekend - and what can I say: it was simply amazing! A welcoming atmosphere, first-class service and attentive staff. Everything was harmonious - from the stylish interior to the impressive view of airships taking off and landing. The cuisine deserves the highest praise: excellent product quality, creative presentation and perfect preparation. As a big steak lover with a lot of experience, it's hard to impress me - but the team actually succeeded here. The last time I was able to enjoy such an excellently prepared ribeye steak was in 2014, and I haven't experienced anything like it since. Since it's asparagus season, I decided to order grilled asparagus as a side dish with the steak - and what can I say: asparagus couldn't be prepared better. Simply to the point! For the starter I chose a tartare – also a hit. The taste was balanced, the meat was of the highest quality and the ingredients were harmoniously balanced. The restaurant also remains true to its line when it comes to wine and spirits: everything is at the highest level. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and always recommends suitable accompaniments to the dishes. The wine list contains rarities that you can't easily find in stores - and at a price level that is absolutely fair for this quality. Conclusion: A very clear recommendation! A place you should definitely visit.

Service super friendly. I even got something to eat even though the kitchen was already closed. The “Schwabenschmaus” consisting of schnitzel, cheese pätzle and Maultaschen with mushroom cream was very tasty. It's a shame that there were a lot of "plastic onions" (= fried onions from a bag) on ​​the Kässpätzle... for the price I would have expected nice, melted onions!!! otherwise everything was great.

I didn't say it rudely, but I said clearly that I didn't think it was great and that ultimately I didn't care who was to blame for the mistake. He then threatened me that he wouldn't be able to bring the food. I should have chosen the option, because the “Schwabenschmaus” was not a culinary delight. The portion is also very clear. Ultimately, one can only hope that the good man recognizes his arrogance at some point. In any case, he can't imagine anything about his cooking.

Were here today during lunch break and can only recommend it. Extremely delicious food and very nice, attentive service staff!

Very bad service! There were 4 of us, we ordered a children's menu, a portion of fries, a herb schnitzel and a sour fry and 2 salads in advance. First we received a children's menu and port fries, they were finished eating, then our salad came, then nothing for a long time, then the sour fry didn't come again for a long time, then my schnitzel was supposed to come, but sausages came! And after another wait the schnitzel finally came, very dry and fatty. It's a shame but we'll never come back!!!

We were here for the fair. You can get overcooked spaetzle with bland ready-made sauce and an onion roast that weighs less than 200g for less than €32. It's a shame, the atmosphere is nice, the staff was very friendly, but the food in general was very poor for all of us (about 25 people). Luckily there are many better restaurants in this area than you are used to on Lake Constance.

We were looking for a special place for our wedding evening and the restaurant largely met our expectations. The dinner reservation for two went smoothly and we received a warm welcome. The service was outstanding; Both the waiter and the chef took the time to answer our questions and give interesting insights into the preparation of the dishes. As a welcome gift we received a glass of rosé wine and slices of fresh bread with cream cheese, pesto and olives, which was an excellent start to the evening. The starters were exquisite and left nothing to be desired. The red wine recommended by the cellar master was perfectly tailored to our wishes and rounded off the meal perfectly. The main course was good, although our expectations were a bit too high. Nevertheless, the quality of the food was convincing. The dessert was a real highlight and fascinated us with its creativity and taste. This restaurant is an excellent choice for special occasions and we would love to come back for more dining experiences.

We decided to order our dinner there. The restaurant is very modern. Tastefully decorated. A dry ager in the restaurant very interesting. The staff very nice. The food took a little longer, but everything is made fresh. You can watch the chef prepare the food. We were very excited.

Beautiful and modern furnishings and equipment, worthy of an upcoming Zeppelin flight or a visit to the outdoor terrace. Despite the information on the flight ticket, it is always enough to be there 45 minutes before departure - the safety briefing is 30 minutes before take-off and in between you wait... e.g. on the visitors' terrace ;-)

First we wait 20 minutes for 2 iced coffees, then we ask the restaurant 2 more times whether we can get coffee and beer or 2 beers and water. If the zeppelins weren't here, no one would be sitting here anymore... tourist trap... Absolute no go when it comes to service!

Best steakhouse on Lake Constance! The food is just as fantastic as the service… The ambience is the icing on the cake. I can only recommend it and would love to come back!

Incredibly inefficient service. 45 minutes to get a bottle of water and panini. Panini was ok but badly warmed with insides still chilled.

During lunchtime there was only 1 waiter for 12 tables full of people. It took him 20 minutes to bring us at least something to drink. And 35 minutes for a sandwich, which was available at the bar for the whole time. The sandwich was warm on the outside, but unpleasantly cold inside. He kept forgetting what people ordered, so as I saw it, I asked for the bill right away when ordering, but he forgot too and I had to remind him. A lot of people were not being served, so customers kept coming constantly to the bar to remind themselves. Terrible experience with the service.

We were there on the weekend and wanted to have lunch before our flight. Reception of food and drinks was so-so, waiter seemed overwhelmed. After waiting for 1 hour, our inquiries were first answered that the order had not been forwarded to the kitchen and then it was said that they were having technical difficulties in passing on the orders. Then the waiter came to the table and said our food would be there in 2 minutes!!!! After waiting another 30 minutes, I wanted to know whether there would be anything else before our departure in 20 minutes or whether we should cancel straight away. This waiter (a different one from the one who came to the table) then also became mushy! At the same time, the other waiter came to the table with our food. Conclusion: This restaurant is not recommended! Neither of us really liked the taste of the food. We'll definitely eat somewhere else before our next flight.

During our weekend trip to the city of Friedrichshafen, we were not only recommended a walk along Lake Constance, but also an excellent restaurant: the Buffalo Steakhouse. The restaurant is located at the Zeppelin airport, another celebrity of Lake Constance. Here you have the great opportunity not only to dine deliciously, but also to watch a zeppelin take off or land. Believe me, this is very fascinating. The restaurant far exceeded our expectations. From the warm welcome at the entrance to the hospitality of the owner, who even notices the little things. For example, he paid attention to whether the setting sun was blinding us and asked us if we would like to change the table for our well-being. The restaurant is well air-conditioned and excellently soundproofed. This means you can enjoy the food and entertainment in a cozy atmosphere, even though the restaurant is full of guests. There is a good selection of dishes and different types of meat. The meat is matured in special dry-aging cabinets and if you decide to do this, which I can only recommend, you can choose the piece you want there yourself. The well-trained waiters are available to make recommendations and help with selection. The selected pieces of meat were immediately handed over to the chef, who prepared them immediately. Thanks to the open kitchen and the special grill, preparing food with the play of flames is quite an experience. So we could look forward to the incomparable taste of the steaks. While grilling, the meat is repeatedly drizzled with oil or a marinade, which gives the crust a great taste. Particularly noteworthy is the wide selection of wines and we were also recommended a wine that would go perfectly with the meal. Our glasses were also unnoticeably refilled during dinner by the very friendly service. I don't want to reveal too much about the taste of the dishes and the way they are presented - you should experience that for yourself. However, I promise you it will be delicious.

Wir haben dort gesendet und den Zeppelinen zugeschaut. Sehr interressant.

Positiv: Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, traumhafte Aussicht, toller Services, freundlicher Empfang, absolut sicheres Gefühl. Negativ: Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von ca.20 Personen dort, wir hatten alle ziemlich großen Hunger. Um 14:15 Uhr hieß es die Küche ist nicht mehr besetzt, obwohl überall geöffnet bis 14:30 Uhr steht. Ein Herr vor uns hat jedoch noch einen Wurstsalat erhalten. Aussage der beiden Herren an der Theke: „tja bisher war nichts los, daher gibts leider auch nichts mehr“ Durch die pampige Ansage, ging ihnen leider einiges an Geschäft durch die Lappen. In der Theke lagen dann noch ein paar Croissants, Muffins und ein paar Stücke Küchen, welche auch eher den Eindruck gemacht haben als wären es die Reste vom Vortag. Der schlechte Service hat das einmalige Zeppelin Erlebnis leider ein wenig getrübt. Der Service im Restaurant sollte eindeutig überdenkt werden.

Sehr nettes Restaurant, in dem die Zeppeline am laufenden Band landen und wieder aufsteigen (alle 15 Minuten). Sehr gut für Kinder Die Preise für Kaffee und Softdrinks waren wirklich sehr günstig. Es herrscht hier Selbstbedienung.

für mich etwas entäuschend, weil relativ wenig zu sehen. Führungen wurden aktuell nicht angeboten. Ab und zu ein Start oder Landung. Die Gastronomie ist zweigeteilt . In der Sauberen (privaten) wurden Speisen und Getränke zu akzeptablen Preise angeboten. Die vordere Stuhlreihe, direkt am Zaun gelegen Gastrobestuhlung wurde gastronomisch nicht bedient. Hier konnte man in der laufenden Gastronomie nichts per SB abholen, war untersagt ???

Waren nur Zaungäste,Freunde sind mit dem Zeppelin gefahren. Das drumherum ist schon sehenswert.

Es war ein einmaliges Ereignis und waren sehr zufrieden! Einen Zeppelin live erleben kann man nicht jeden Tag! 👍😃Einfach WAHNSINNIG! Die Kinder waren besonders begeistert.

Leider kann ich dazu keine Antwort geben, da der Zeppelin schon wieder defekt war und wir umsonst da gewesen waren. Deshalb kein Restaurantbesuch u.Sonstiges.Letztes Jahr war schon ein Defekt .u.heute wieder. Das macht kein Spaß.

Es ist direkt da wo die Zeppelin starten und landen und man ahnt nicht das hier ein nettes Lokal mit Biergarten zu finden ist. Ein Weizen könnten wir noch trinken doch leider waren wir zu spät dran da der Flugbetrieb schon eingestellt war und das Restaurant war am schließen . Die nächste Fahrradtour wird hier auch enden doch etwas früher. .

Vor und nach dem Flug mit dem Zeppelin, ein wunderschönes Ambiente. Auch für die Leute, welche nicht abheben.

Wir waren nur da im ein paar Zeppeline starten und landen zu sehen. Unser Sohn (fast 3 Jahre) war super begeistert. Das Personal im Laden war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mit dem Zeppelin geflogen sind wir nicht. Das war uns einfach zu teuer.

Besuch lohnt sich nur bei gutem Wetter. Bei Unwetterwarnungen gibt es keine Abflüge und Ankünfte. Ein Mitflug ist hochpreisig.

O hangar do Zeppelin, possui restaurante, banheiros limpos e uma pequena loja de souvenirs. O valor para andar no Zeppelin é de 320,00 euros por apenas 30 minutos e apenas na cidade de Friedrichsafen. Do centro da cidade até o hangar, são apenas 10 minutos.

Der Zeppelinflug war einmalig und wir haben es sehr genossen. Der Flug ging leider viel zu schnell vorbei. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Museum ist ein Muss. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut.
