Really good cuisine. I recommend duck or sushi.

At first it was a bit full but we were politely escorted to a table. The food was super tasty (schmackofatz👍) and really good for the price. It's a great place for a date or a night out with friends. 👍😊👍

In principle, the food at ZenZen is really tasty, but the last time we visited there and had the table to the right of the counter, I saw one of the employees drop something to fry on the floor and he picked it up and simply processed it. That doesn't work at all.

It's all ok. Apart from the expert.....bringing taste to the food - sushi....., something is missing. But I would say that it's also a matter of taste... Quality of the duck is declining❗️ Duck meat a little too fatty❗️

Personally, I think the food there is great, but so far I've only eaten various appetizers and sushi there. Unfortunately, the staff often takes a long time, even when there is little activity, and it has happened twice that a dish was forgotten when ordering. Unfortunately, the card machine is often defective, so I can only recommend asking beforehand how you can pay :-) All in all, I still really enjoy eating there.

Very disappointed with the handling. I had an appointment with a friend at this restaurant and I also had my baby with me. So far I've only heard good things. Unfortunately, I can't agree with many people here... There is no changing room and when asked I was told to just change my baby on the floor. Unfortunately I actually had to wrap it on the floor because otherwise she would have gotten sore…. (Mothers know). I felt so stupid and then people stared at me and shook their heads. I hurried through tears and was glad to have had a woolen blanket with me despite the good weather. Otherwise I would have been able to change my baby on the hard floor. The food really wasn't bad. (The price can be discussed). But this experience lasted me until the end of my life. You'd better rethink your concept! Good day!

In beautiful late summer weather, we had a great evening in the pedestrian zone directly behind St. Wendeler Cathedral.

If things continue like this, I'll have to file for personal bankruptcy soon because my girlfriend really likes the sushi there. But you definitely can't complain about the prices, they are very reasonable. Only disadvantage: Currently only cash payment possible

I always have a hard time when it comes to gastronomic reviews. Food is a matter of taste and tastes are different. For me it was the first and also the last visit because in all my personal respects it was not to my taste. The service was very difficult as our service had language problems and the communication was correspondingly poor. This was so bad that one dish was served completely incorrectly. The food was exchanged directly without any effort. However, this meant we had to eat at a later time. The atmosphere outside was loud but bearable. The smokers, on the other hand, were quite persistent. The food was fresh and the quantity was sufficient. I found my food bland and not tasty, while my wife enjoyed it. As mentioned at the beginning, our daughter's dish was received incorrectly. She was correspondingly annoyed and had no opinion about food afterwards.

We were on holiday looking for a nice sushi place, searched via Maps and ZenZen was well regarded. So when we arrived, it looks like a Greek restaurant from the outside... but don't be fooled, the food is extremely good!! Went back again for a second round to let the mothers-in-law taste this sushi. Then you ask for the bill, they look at you casually with a receipt for 70 euros for 3 people sushi including drinks?! In the Netherlands you would have spent at least 100 euros for this.

This was our second time eating here. Even though there was an event in St. Wendel, we got a table for two. The food was again very tasty! We were thrilled again!

Good food, but not outstanding. Service was good and quick. Atmosphere, at least outside, not that special.

Nice atmosphere and the food is delicious. However, the friendliness leaves a lot to be desired. We were there at 9:20 p.m. and were only offered food to go, which was completely okay, but no more drinks either, even though it was open until 10 p.m. We were also no longer allowed to use the toilet at 9:40 p.m. We are very disappointed with the employees.

Crunchy vegie sushi was very tasty, unfortunately as a vegetarian there wasn't really a big selection on the menu. The waiter offered me a single dish that could be vegetarian. This also tasted very good. We've eaten there several times and unfortunately it's always a problem getting another drink. You are literally ignored... The homemade lemonade is recommended

Amazing sushi, amazing prices, amazing staff, only possible issue is the restaurant seating is very compact and close!

Went to Zen for the first time today. Well-kept, spacious restaurant, food came quickly, looks very tasty and tastes absolutely great. Service friendly and accommodating. Extra requests can be easily accommodated and each dish can be adjusted or changed. Particularly noteworthy are the homemade lemonades and the sushi served with dry ice mist We will definitely come back 👍🏻

The place is way too small for the amount of tables they sqeeze in and the noise level at dinner is deafening. Definitely not enjoyable to hang out for a relaxed dinner. The sushi was decent, not best but ok, the price is a bit high but still ok. Unfortunately the service is completely overwhelmed and quite bad at communicating, it takes forever to be served, mixing up orders and bringing wrong items.

Both the sushi and the other dishes on offer are of a very good quality and taste. I would even say that you can get the best sushi in the St. Wendeler district here. The price level is upper average, but that's completely acceptable given the quality on offer. Regarding the staff: let's say it's difficult. You can tell that this is a family business. The people try to be friendly, but you quickly notice that the language barrier is giving them a lot of trouble. This makes them appear unfriendly and, above all, stressed in one situation or another. Dear ZenZen team, if you are reading this, I would like to advise you to simply hire 2 or 3 people with good language skills for the service. I am sure this will help you in every way. I would also give you a 5 star rating. Otherwise, I can recommend this restaurant to every sushi lover and friend of Vietnamese cuisine.

Great food. Unfortunately there was an Easter market in WND that day, so the hut was completely full and the service was therefore more than busy.

Food was ok, the staff could be friendlier!!!! In St.Wendel we are used to something different from various other restaurants!

It was really a very, very big disappointment. The service seemed totally overwhelmed, we were there with our little daughter and asked if there was a possibility to change diapers or a changing room. The waitress denied this and when asked about an alternative wrap option, the waitress just shrugged her shoulders and disappeared without another word. The food was okay but for me the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. I expected more based on various reviews! If I want to go out to eat again with high expectations and even greater disappointment, I will always come back to this establishment. Was eating here for the first and last time. Thanks for the experience, I'll stay away in the future!

Unfortunately I have to write a negative review today. We actually love the food at Zen Zen and the sushi and the dishes have so far left no room for complaint. But what I picked up yesterday was not of the usual quality Anyway, after eating I wasn't feeling well and I tried to get in touch but to date I haven't heard back

The food was average for me. The service seemed attentive to me. What really bothered me was how the restaurant was set up. The tables are very small, there are so many tables in the rooms that you can't put your jacket on without disturbing someone. In my opinion this makes it very noisy quickly and I voluntarily left when we were finished eating... we couldn't hold a conversation anymore... way too loud

There is nothing to complain about the quality of the food! delicious! However, if we want to eat out and spend a lot of money, the service should also be good! That was not the case at all. In short: Order taken incorrectly, dishes forgotten to be brought, bill too high for dishes not ordered, no opportunity to request drinks or dessert because no service came to the table. My starter was forgotten and my daughter's main course was brought 1 hour late, so the rest of us were almost finished. A sushi platter, which we probably didn't order, was brought out incorrectly (since we didn't memorize the menu and were there for the first time, we couldn't know at the time) and in the end the bill was way too high , because there were drinks and dishes on it that we didn't order and some of which we didn't get. The dishes were brought, a number was given (probably the dish number), turned over and the waitress left, so that there was no opportunity to ask questions. It's hardly possible to reorder drinks because no one came in between. And suddenly (probably the boss) stood there with the bill that we hadn't even ordered yet. So instead of staying and having a drink, we paid and didn't order any more dessert. This can also ruin your business. A pity!

The food at ZenZen is really delicious, you can't say anything about it. We were there with friends on a Saturday evening, all the tables were full and so crowded that you could hardly move. The service was very chaotic, my son got the wrong food, but my daughter's dish was completely forgotten and she had to wait a long time. When we got the bill, things were added to our table that we hadn't ordered... There was no apology, no nice gesture, such as dessert for the children as compensation. I found that really pathetic. That's no way to keep customers.

Food and service is really top. But a big drawback is the extreme volume. You could counteract this with simple acoustic panels.

Nice Asian restaurant in the middle of St. Wendel. Friendly and quick service. The food was very tasty and of very good quality. The prices are reasonable.

Immer wenn wir aus der Schweiz ins Saarland kommen um die Familie zu besuchen, wird mind. 1 Mal hier Sushi bestellt. Das Sushi ist unglaublich lecker und wir sind jedes Mal begeistert! Wir können das ZenZen wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Wir gehen sehr gerne hier Essen, allerdings ist der Service so so schlecht geworden. Gestern Abend war sehr viel los, die Kellner waren " sehr" schlecht gelaunt und auch "sehr" unfreundlich. Der Herr, der uns bedient hat gestern, haben wir als sehr aggressiv empfunden. Ganz unangenehm. Das Essen war aber wie immer Top. Die Wartezeit lag bei einer knappen Stunde.

Sehr lecker -und trotz komplett besetzem Lokal flottes und freundliches Personal.

Absolut empfehlenswert um auf die schnelle an leckeres Sushi zu kommen.

Das Essen war sehr gut kann ich nur weiterempfehlen

Das Essen kam schnell. Das Service Personal ist höflich aber total überfordert. Musste 20 Minuten warten und mehrmals anmerken das ich bezahlen möchte.

Wir gaben dem Restaurant aufgrund der Rezensionen und der optik des "Restaurants" eine chance, jedoch wurden wir enttäuscht... .Das Essen dort ist leider maximal Imbiss Niveau wobei ich beim Imbiss auch schon besser gegessen habe. Es waren Abfertigungs- bzw. Convenience speisen. Die "Sate-Spieße" z.b. waren ein paniertes fertig Hähnchenschnitzel mit unmariniertem Salat und undefinierbarer soße. Die Hauptspeisen waren demnach ähnliches Niveau. Zum Restaurant kann man das Ambiente innen loben jedoch war die Lautstärke sehr störend und wir saßen an einem Tisch direkt hinter der Theke und hatten somit jeden Gast und jedes Gericht was kam hautnah miterleben können. Service war maximal durchschnittlich. Leider war dies unser erster und letzter Besuch bzw. Versuch dort.

Location war schon mal besser. Sushi weiterhin Top aber sonst eher durchschnittlich und kleine Portionen. Dafür verhältnismäßig zu teuer. Service bemüht aber eher unprofessionell. - Wir waren zu dritt da. Ein Essen kam recht schnell. Die anderen dafür so spät dass der erste schon fast fertig mit dem Essen war. Das geht leider nicht. Wir wollten noch was trinken aber Keiner kam mehr.

Man kann viel sagen, jedoch muss man einfach selbst herkommen und die unglaublich Leckeren Gerichte probieren!! Alles ohne ein Makel!!

Sehr leckeres Restaurant! Die Bedienung ist auch immer sehr nett. Wenn viele Leute da sind wird es häufig etwas lauter und wärmer, aber damit habe ich persönlich kein Problem. Die Atmosphäre ist trotzdem wunderbar.

Leider wegen Personal mangel sehr lange auf den Service warten müssen, ob Getränke, essen oder die Rechnung. Aber lecker war es .

Das Sushi ist einfach MEGA lecker. Wir sagen danke für das fantastische Essen. Gutes Sushi braucht Zeit, daher kann es bei vielen Gästen auch etwas länger dauern, aber das Warten lohnt sich. Die hausgemachten Limonaden sind auch sehr zu empfehlen.

Ich habe mit meine freunde knapp 50min gewartet und dan haben wir mal nach gefragt und es kamm es sind sehr viele leute da kann etwas noch dauern nach 20 min war immer noch nichts da unverschämte es kammen mehrere leute nach uns und haben vor uns essen bekommen das ist unverschämte nie wieder gehe ich hier hin essen lieber bestelle ich vor und esse zuhause drecksladen

Alles was wir bestellt hatten kam schnell und schmeckte gut. Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und ging auch auf individuelle Wünsche sofort ein. Das Restaurant selber war gepflegt und sauber.
