Zaza in Berlin

The food was OK. I would have liked more vegan options apart from vegetables and rice. The people/owners who served the food were very nice and friendly.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend Zaza as a catering service. The sandwiches for our company event were really good, but we had to wait almost a week for the bill to come via email. Since no contact information could be found, our only option was to come by in person. The quality of the sandwiches was good, but the service left a lot to be desired.

Stopped here twice while in Berlin. All the staff knew English perfectly and were very nice. Water was out for customers to enjoy. Both of my coffee drinks were perfect. Cinnamon rolls are ready daily at 1130- they’re really good!

We ordered vegetarian and chicken bowls by Wolt and we got bowls of overcooked, greasy vegetables. No bulgur, or quinoa or mushrooms in the vegetarian one. Literaly one bite of a chicken in the chicken bowl. Awful, we tried but we could not eat that.

Don’t go here with TooGoodToGo. They will just put whatever they have left into their box and let all the sauces, textures etc. merge. It is inedible. They need to remember it is a human that will eat this food, not a dog.

The salads just aren't very tasty (too much mayo in them) nor is the falafel, much too soft, falafel should NEVER be that soft.

Really my favorite cafe along with Café Kotti, I've known both since I was little and I'm very happy that Zaza still exists. Super nice atmosphere and very nice outdoor area💞💞 If you are looking for a café in this area, then this is the best choice you can make. Thank you for the beautiful moments I had while sitting in this café. 💖

Love this place. If I want to feel home in Berlin, I go to Zaza. I am customer of Zaza while the restaurant/ coffee place was a few blocks away, so more less 8 years now. The food always tastes amazing, the flavors, the textures - both dinner or breakfast option, I like everything. The women cooks in the kitchen, I am a big fan! The owners are always exceptionally nice and cheerful, their employees a little bit less, but still doing a good job. The only negative point for me - prices. A few years ago a bowl with 3 meals cost 4,5€/ 5,5 €. Now it is 9,5€.

Thank you for being here! Your food is absolutely amazing and makes me so happy! Super nutritious, home-cooked buffet with tons of vegetables. Whether vegan, vegetarian or with meat. I follow a vegan diet and have never missed anything. A "small" bowl costs €9.50 and I'm more than full afterwards. Keep it up!

Small but nice... Not a run-of-the-mill store. Stands out from the crowd with its dishes. I like the little triangular calorie bombs of dessert and their coffee crema best. Thank you and gladly again.

Bestellt habe ich die kleine Bowl für 8,50 insgesamt lecker aber aufgrund der Schüsselform hat man nach der Hälfte alles vermischt und es schmeckt dann alles irgendwie sehr gleich (natürlich etwas davon abhängig welche Gerichte man zur Auswahl hatte .) Insgesamt lecker aber teils etwas schwer im Magen. Ein kleiner Seitenhieb war dann auch die Karte welche schon länger auf dem Tisch liegen muss , auf dieser war die kleine Bowl noch zu einem Preis von 5,80 zu erwerben.

I had a great surprise with the food here! Honestly wasn't expecting much but i had a really good experience after having my food! Big portions and delicious! I'm a Vegetarian and they have really good Vegetarian options here!

I stopped by here while walking past and got the kofta sandwich and the filled paprika. They were sooo sweet and the food was delicious! They also have different meals on rotation and you can select a bowl with 3 options from the buffet plus with a salad. Will definitely come again! ☺️

The food is often very good. But the way it is served is not - you get 3 meals from the buffet and on top of that a salad and a sauce - all this in a single bowl creating a mixture of all meals and sauces. Please find a better way. Also put labels on the dishes with ingredients. The service is fast but I have to ask every time what is what. Also the restaurant advertises itself for serving Brot mit Kofta and doesn't even mentions that there is a whole buffet inside.

The menu is different from a day to day. They are rotating their dishes over the week which is nice to meet all tastes. The restaurant style is similar to a buffet but you don't serve yourself there. When it's your turn in the line you choose between small or large portion. I have always ordered the small plate, it is filling and more than enough for one person unless you have a voracious appetite. You can order 3 portions of the main dishes and 3 sides/salads/sauces. I'm still trying to find my preferred meal compo. The price is fair and the girls are friendly <3 I'll add some photos later but don't expect much as the mixture of the food in one bowl is not appealing tehehe BTW they accept card payment

Coffee is good - no discussion! But 50ct for alternative milk (it is not an addition it is a replacement to normal milk) + 50ct for ice cubes is too much and a deal breaker for me. Sorry. Still, coffee and staff is nice.

Kaffee 1 A! Türkisches Menemen war gut. Bedienung war höflich und Atmosphäre war ein wenig kalt.

Molto molto buono, çok çok güzel! Ottimi piatti vegetariani in un mix di bulgur, melanzane, cipolla, lenticchie come da tradizione turca. Prezzi onesti.

Preiswertes Essen, sehr netter Service und gute Auswahl. Leider fast alle warmen Gerichte sehr ölig. Klar, Fett ist Geschmacksträger und sättigt, aber etwas weniger Öl würde ich glaube keinen stören.

A place without a bathroom 😅 but delicious bakery

Top Ort, um das beste Essen zu bekommen und auch noch unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend behandelt zu werden. Das Mittagessen ist jedes Mal der Hammer und auch die Kuchen sind besonders. Mein Lieblingsrestaurant/-cafe in Kreuzberg!

A very nice salad bar and cafe with friendly staff. The perfect quick, healthy lunch on a hot summer day. They have a few tables outside as well.

Small Café and lunch place just around the corner from the Oberbaumbrücke and Badeschiff. Staff was mostly friendly and attentive. Serving was quick and polite. Next to meat-based dishes, there are vegetarian options available. The portion is big, however the price bit too high. In general a cool place to have lunch at and hang out. Coffee and cake is available as well and the atmosphere is relaxing. Try it out!

Tienes un brunch increíble, tienen unos 5 o 6, todos muy muy ricos. Muy bien de precio también, entre los 8 y 14 euros, con café/té y zumo. En la foto se ven 4 platos diferentes con sus respectivos panes y bebidas.

Amazing little coffee shop and breakfast place. Reasonably priced, great service, good drinks and a relaxed atmosphere. Especially nice is that they offer a wide array of breakfasts, not just the standard German breakfast of bread and cheese.

I had a great coffee here in the morning all by myself and was reading a book. However, when the place started to fill up (there's not much space), a family couldn't find a table anymore and the owner made an angry face and gesture towards me that I should leave. This sheer discrimination of a single guy in favor of a family is something you just cannot do. At that instant, I suddenly felt very unwelcome, and I left disgustedly.

Never leave hungry again! Finally, a restaurant that understands that size matters (very tasty as well)
