YUZU Sushi & asiatische Spezialitäten in Leipzig

We ordered sushi and mochi online for my daughter's confirmation ceremony for over 100 euros. When placing the order, we could specify the day we wanted to pre-order and the pickup time. Since we wanted it as fresh as possible and the timing wasn't suitable for any other time, we chose 3:00 PM as the pickup time, which was no problem. According to the website, it's "open" until 10:00 PM. When we went to pick up our sushi on May 24th, there was no one at the sushi kiosk. Everything was dark, and there was no sign of our ordered sushi. The employees at the Kaufland information desk said it was an external provider and they didn't know anything about our order. This is a complete disgrace. If I close the store early, I either have to indicate during the ordering process that the order has to be picked up by a certain time, or I have to stay in my store until that time. They could have left a note saying it was available. I was just glad that you only pay for the goods upon pickup at Kaufland, otherwise I would have had to chase after my money now. Again, absolutely disgusting. My daughter was really looking forward to the sushi. Thank God we were able to get some somewhere else... never again.

Today, we quickly searched for food for ourselves and the kids at the restaurant listed. We thought we'd succeeded, but in the end, it turned out we could have saved ourselves the money. The portion is a real joke. For €8, you get a box that's nowhere near full. We often eat Chinese food, and they use the same packaging, and we always struggle with that, and for less money. Furthermore, it was so spicy that the kids couldn't eat it, and the kids' meat was supposedly chicken, but it wasn't as light as you'd expect, but rather dark. I searched in vain for a restroom, but there was only one for women. It contained items belonging to the owner (toothbrush, shower gel). Fun fact: If the food was too spicy and you've been sweating, you can shower here 😅 We're saving ourselves the trip to this Asian restaurant.

I arrived early, about 20 minutes after opening. Not everything was on display yet. But they politely asked me if I wanted something else (here, salmon). They were super friendly, and the price was reasonable. I'd rather have fresh, delicious sushi than the old, pre-packaged stuff for a euro less. It's also great that everyone can have as much wasabi and soy sauce as they need. Some people like more, some not at all. Great 👍🏻 I'd go back anytime.

I bought sushi there today. At first glance, there seems to be a lot of selection, but unfortunately, it's all similar, with lots of salmon or surimi. The taste is okay. The rice was so soft that the various sushi pieces were almost impossible to eat with chopsticks. A lot of them fell apart. The maki were very poorly rolled. A piece of seaweed was missing from all of them. Unfortunately, there was also far too little ginger. It's a shame; I won't buy from there again.
