Yüksel Restaurant in Dortmund

The kebab isn't as good as it used to be, the service isn't as perfect either, you wait almost half an hour. So I don't think I'll go there next time.

We came here upon recommendation as it was the best restaurant in Dortmund, but we didn't like it at all. The first rice and beans that came were bad, we wanted to call the waiter to change it, we were treated with zero smiling face without listening to the customer properly. We ordered chicken skewers, some of them were not cooked well. Unfortunately we did not like it

So they used to be better... I was there a few days ago and unfortunately I wasn't that convinced.

Ordered: 3 drinks (Water, Ayran, Cola) Tripe Soup, Doner with bread, Small French Fries Mini Plate Some Döner on Rice First of all, Ayran and Cola (Pepsi arrived) unfortunately came in a glass and had no acid. Water is illegal because it was imported from TR without deposit. The drinks are so expensive that they shamelessly serve them in cans or bottles for more profit. The ratio of meat to bread is disastrous. Olive oil was not used in the tzatziki. The soup arrived cold and there was plenty of water and little meat. Except for the tea, the rest is history. Döner is delicious, but you need to eat it plain. The account cost 31€ He shamelessly charged 8€ for a small mini plate of donuts over rice. Beverages are already abnormal. A total fiasco. Quality has dropped dramatically and prices have skyrocketed. The waiter wrote 8 euros for the doner kebab over rice. It's a complete disgrace. I'm so sorry. Especially, most of the waiters do not know their profession and they work as if it were McDonald's, not a restaurant. Those who don't even use olive oil in their salads should not talk about Turkish cuisine.

Food was ok, but the service definitely needs to be improved here. Why are you unfriendly to your customers? And don't you even say please when the customer thanks you?

I ordered a Lahmacun kebab without any spiciness, but it was spicy. The tripe soup had a slight smell and I didn't like the behavior of the staff. If you're hungry you can eat it, but if you want something better I wouldn't recommend it.

I bought meat shawarma from this restaurant, and the meat was tough to chew and I didn't like it. It's not bad, but I don't expect to repeat the experience.

Quality and service have decreased, whether there has been a change of ownership? I always enjoyed going out to eat with friends, which is a shame.

A lahmacun costs 4 euros and side dishes are 3 euros. It is impossible to understand how immoral and rude this is.

It's a place we always go to, but today, even though we ordered Adana wraps, the waiter brought them in the form of a plate. Even though we said we wanted wraps, the waiter did not correct his mistake. Then he said he would bring it in the form of 4 wraps. I have never seen such nonsense. His attitude was not nice at all.

We went there for dinner today. Service was bad. The table was dirty and I had to clean it. When we ordered food, we weren't even asked whether it was fries or rice. Proud price for little food and the meat was cold and a lot of fat. Fries tepid and old. Rice hard and cold. Salad little and full of vinegar and disgusting. The only thing that tasted good was the Ayran. Service was not good and unpleasant. Both the gentleman for outside and also the one for inside. Everything was like mass processing and like in an animal stable. Sorry never again. We were there after a long time and won't be coming back. I expect better prices from a restaurant. Icv can eat better in a kebab shop

Never again was the kebab bag really empty, I only got bread. Not recommendable

I was eating there today with my friend, I ordered a salad (number 6), a shepherd's salad large for €7 with shepherd's cheese, when my salad came, I thought he wanted to take me, as there was just a small side salad I was asked that every order comes with a normal small salad made only of cucumber/tomato with a single strip of shepherd's cheese. When I asked if this was the number 6 in large, he said yes, the €7 was still charged Unfortunately it doesn't have it at all...

The quality of the kebab meat is very poor, just disgusting. Doner bread is also super small, almost looks like a roll from LIDL. Never again Yüksel!

I don't recommend anyone else and only one operator for a restaurant like this doesn't need just one operator.

The salad I ordered was wrong, the food came late. Unfortunately the service was zero. A place that doesn't deserve to come back.

No, I ordered a chicken skewer wrap and then it came in a kebab bag. The sauces didn't taste good and this bread omg this bread first bite Wallah everything fell apart digga my whole hands got dirty from these not tasty sauces I was so angry that I didn't eat it anymore and my husband had to finish it. But trileqe tastes good. Ah and the ayran was homemade, okay but bro it wasn't cold and there were pieces in it and no salt at all.

I had the worst soup I've ever had in my life here. Supposedly, the bread they brought to the side of the bakery was stale. We asked for garlic for the head and trotters. We asked for garlic, which smelled like a stink for at least a week. They said there was no tea with the meal. They brought tea. They charged four Euros for it. So what if you want to go after reading this? you know

It's outrageous to charge 3 euros for an old, hard flatbread. It was so dry inside that I couldn't even cut it properly!!

Once Upon a time.... Yüksel was a disappointment today. We sat right by the door, pure draft. When asked, the door was not closed by the first waiter. Only after another request was anything done. Various dishes were ordered, NONE of them were really appetizing. All dishes came at different times. There was no small starter etc. Saç tava felt like it was just tendon meat that was finely chopped. Yüksel used to be one of the best restaurants in DO but is no longer one of them. Better to give it a wide berth

Just disgusting Doner bread very small but 7€ Meat pre-cut and cold, the young man opens the bread with his hand without gloves. Then he puts all the leftovers that are on his tray into the bread. The hammer is coming, look at the photo and you can see the quality of the meat. I will NEVER ENTER THIS STORE AGAIN.

Yüksel is no longer good, no good service, and the people are not nice. The dishes weren't tasty either.

The food wasn't tasty, the chicken was burnt and fake Cola was served even though Coca Cola was on the menu. The meals arrived differently, the plate arrived quicker than the kebabs. The drinks were also way too late at the table. No longer the standard it once was.

The food is great, the service is good but without life it's kind of like working by the book the ambience is ok nothing special but everything is very clean but that's why you don't go to yüksel there you go to eat and it's super delicious!!! The associated bakery shop is also worth shopping and can only be recommended

Really really nice and tasty and great portions. Service was super friendly and offered us bread and tea from the house. Esseb had good taste. All in all 5 out of 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

So I went there with my best friend and her sister in my pajamas, no one looked stupid or anything, the food was very tasty, I think the cocktail sauce was awesome, not too little sauce or anything, so I would go there more often

We quickly ordered 3 doner kebabs to take away and we warned that the kebab cutter should not put the burnt meat in the bread. On the way we unfortunately only ate up to half of it. The rest was just burnt meat, never again YÜKSEL

all tables, all floors must be wiped, garbage bags must be changed on canvases. and interior windows should be wiped at least once a week. Detailed general cleaning should be done in the workplace once a week.

I have never eaten such good Kuzu Sac as I did there. It's really nice and clean, really busy, but not closed due to overcrowding. You don't smell like the food when you come out, the service is very polite, it doesn't take too long for the food to come out. I will eat there every time I'm in Dortmund!

My son was there on March 26, 2024 with his 5 friends, they were unfortunately treated disrespectfully. It was the third time we were there with the (hope of improvement). You just feel ripped off, the cola reminded you of the cheap version from Lidl (Freeway.) Especially since there were no canned drinks and the kebab, which was simply far too small and, for €7, was poor in terms of price performance. Then the staff was just unfriendly and annoyed.

The store looks small from the outside, but offers a surprising amount of space inside. We ate Yaprak kebab here. The meat was tender, warm and juicy. Bread is homemade and hot. The service is very friendly and attentive. Always my pleasure :-)

The ambience is nice. Lots of pictures on the wall and some screens showing the production of the food. What I can recommend is the dish 'Adana Kebab' or 'Pirzola' (cutlet) The soups are also very tasty I wouldn't try kebab there again. I wasn't impressed with the taste. What I would try soon would be a dish that involves making dough. For the prices I would have liked a more chic atmosphere. The dishes mentioned above were okay for the price. The food was prepared quickly and the friendliness was very high.

I found the service inadequate. Unfortunately, we asked for Fanta and Coke. The drinks came in glasses and they tasted different. They did not taste like the original Coke and Fanta.

The desserts were stale and tasteless, I had to vomit a few hours after eating them, be careful.

Das Yüksel Restaurant in Dortmund ist ein wahrer Geheimtipp für Liebhaber authentischer türkischer Küche. Von außen unauffällig, entführt einen das Restaurant beim Betreten in eine Welt voller Aromen und Genüsse. Besuch lohnt sich.

Herbe schlimm, das Essen ist kalt serviert, den Reis und die Bohnen sollen mit Fleisch aber sind ohne gekommen, Brot ist auch klar, die meinen ja, weil das frisch ist und keine Ahnung, er fasst das Brot mit seine Hände und sagt dass er keine Zeit hat für uns, (obwohl da keiner was außer 3,4 Kunden), wenn wir ihm gesagt haben, dass wir den Brot bitte warm haben will. So schlimm also wirklich das absolute alle schlimmste Restaurant der ich in war.

Ich glaube, die Kellner sind da ein bisschen überfordert man bestellt was und kriegt das nicht und das ist nicht nur einmal vorgekommen, sondern mehrmals und eine Modernisierung wäre schön

Heute waren wir zum Abendessen vor Ort. Sehr lange warte Zeiten bis man überhaupt ein Platz bekommen hat obwohl einige Plätze frei waren. Danach mussten wir warten bis der Tisch abgeräumt wurde von den Gästen davor, danach haben wir noch 15 Minuten gewartet bis uns Speisekarten angeboten wurden.

Das Essen ist lecker und vielfältig das Ambiente ist ok aber nichts besonderes der Laden ist stark besucht und der Service ist auch nett nur leider ein wenig überfordert bekommt man den Eindruck da man uns noch nicht mal gefragt hat ob wir was trinken möchten was ja eigentlich auch dann schlecht für den umsatz ist ...Preisleistung ist auch ok also man kann da auch nochmal essen gehen.

Absolut nicht weiterzuempfehlen.. Katastrophe… Kellner besoffen und sehr unfreundlich. Cola gibt es nur in Gläser. Suppe wird kalt serviert und wenn man fragt wieso dann kommt ne dumme Antwort. Man weiss nicht mal wer Chef oder Kellner sein sollte. Nie wieder

Service 1 von 10 Qualität 1 von 10 Coca Cola bestellt aber man bekimmt ricer cola im Glas, erst auf nachfrage was es für eine cola sei wurde mir gesagt das sie keine originale cola haben aber kassieren dafür ab!!! Essen wurde kalt serviert dazu total unapetitlich. Brot total alt, Fleisch kalt und verbrannt, mir fehlen die Worte.
