We were there for less than an hour and yet we were presented with a bill for 100 euros without us being able to finish because the waiter (Fii is his name) said we had to pay so that he could take further reservations. Such behavior is absolutely disrespectful and outrageous! You go out to have a pleasant evening, be it eating or drinking, and not to be thrown out after an hour just so you can earn more money. We felt like unwanted guests and something like that is unacceptable. This waiter lacked any courtesy and professionalism. We are definitely never coming back!

I love the food and the service is incredibly friendly. For us it is always something special and not something you treat yourself to often. We have the small deduction because it is really crowded and very loud whenever we were there. Sometimes you don't understand the person you're talking to when you're sitting in the back of the restaurant. Also the service was sometimes so quick with the drinks and food that you felt a bit like you had to hurry up. I would like to eat this very tasty meal in a more pleasant environment and have a relaxed conversation. Maybe we couldn't sit so close together and reduce the number of tables? Lg

This was my second time at Yoake, and while my first visit was a 100/100, my last visit unfortunately left me very disappointed. Despite an early reservation, we initially had to wait 10 minutes, while we were already told that a reservation didn't seem to make much of a difference here. The impression quickly emerged that it was more about processing the guests as quickly as possible. The staff rushed frantically from table to table to settle accounts and get rid of the guests as quickly as possible. When we were finally allowed to sit down, the atmosphere was tense - not relaxed enjoyment, but a constant feeling of rush. It was immediately made clear to us that our stay was limited to one hour. Although the staff was quick, the service seemed impersonal and hectic, which made the entire evening uncomfortable. To eat: Starter: Thai style soup and the shrimp-filled dumplings (Ha Cao) – both tasted very good. Main course: My sushi (H48. Futo Maki) was okay, but the seaweed sheets were extremely dry and difficult to bite into. Overall 4 out of 5 stars. My husband had the "Healthy Boy", which he had ordered before - but this time he was less enthusiastic. But perhaps the depressed mood also contributed to this. Drinks: Lychee lemonade – too much ice, too bland. 1 out of 5 stars. “Osaka” – a bitter disappointment: the wine glass was barely filled and there was no hint of alcohol in the taste, just pure mango juice. Not acceptable for the price – 0 out of 5 stars. Normally we give feedback straight away, but since other guests were already arguing with the staff, we just wanted to finish quickly and leave the restaurant. I'm sorry, but we won't be visiting Yoake again. A good restaurant not only lives from good food, but also from atmosphere and hospitality. As long as the focus here is on mass processing instead of offering guests a pleasant experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant. I really hope that at some point quality will win out over quantity again - without you feeling like you're being ignored or having to spend a fortune. (Although the prices here are significantly high)

I went to Yoake for the first time today, following a recommendation from a friend. The food is good and can compete with others. However, I will no longer visit the restaurant myself and cannot recommend it. The bill was brought to us after just an hour, and I hadn't even finished my glass. We weren't informed of anything beforehand. This behavior is very unprofessional, but probably won't interest the owners. However, if you want a relaxing evening, you should definitely visit another location.

Incredible establishment. Delicious food, beautifully and juicy served. Always friendly staff and excellent service. Pleasant interior and constant cleanliness. The only point worth paying attention to is the high prices, but they are quite justified.

Great food in the higher price segment. We find the portions of the curry a bit small. Nowadays people act like they do in the big city. Tables can only be used for 1.5 hours. We like to go out to eat without time pressure, we like to sit longer, we like to enjoy 1.2 bottles of wine or cocktails WITHOUT me having to announce them! I think it's excessive and I'm deducting 1 star for that!

My partner and I are always impressed by the food, but again and again the service is very, very, very bad... the first time after receiving my food, a man from the service ran up to me and asked me in a loud and rude tone what I had ordered , (I was already eating at the moment) when I explained my order and pointed out that it was actually the same order I ordered, he rolled his eyes and left without any explanation, after which I was watched and annoyed by him every time looked at it, they didn't want to serve our table anymore and they left out the question of whether everything would fit. This made me feel totally uncomfortable. Well, we gave the whole store another chance, my partner asked more than a week before the reservation if it would be possible to set up candles or something similar for a fee, to which the answer was “yes” several times, well when we arrived there were no candles or anything Another thing, the food for 2 people was delivered with a time difference of 15 minutes, which is why my partner's food was almost cold…unacceptable.

I love the food and wasn't there for the first time last night. We had reserved by email for 6 p.m. Saturday evening, and it worked. There were two of us, we each had an appetizer, the crunchy rolls each, then my companion had sushi again and I had dessert, but then I wanted sushi again because I like to end on a savory note. However, we were then told that they would bring us the bill straight away because there were too many reservations and the time slot was only 1.5 hours. Even my objection that I wanted to order something else didn't change anything. Apart from the fact that I don't like such an assembly line approach, my bad rating mainly comes from the fact that this was not pointed out when I made the reservation or when I arrived at the restaurant. In this case, for example, I would have preferred to skip dessert and just order sushi again. Since it wasn't my first time there, I was also very surprised as there was no time limit before. If it is too much effort to communicate this to every guest, there should at least be a notice on the table/in the menu to draw attention to it. We were very disappointed, even though the food was very tasty and the service staff were otherwise very courteous and friendly.

It was a bit uncomfortable sitting very close to the other customers. Especially when the other customer at the next table was sitting on the side of the table with his back completely leaning against our table. Of course, this cannot be blamed on the restaurant manager, but it would be nicer to leave a little more space between the tables. The quality of the food was good, especially there were decent pieces of salmon etc. on the plate and the restaurant was really well staffed in terms of the number of staff. Of course, with inflation and today's times, all of this has to be financed somehow, but €180 for 4 people was steep (compared to other restaurants). It was okay to try for the first visit, but for some people it's certainly not affordable on a regular basis due to the price.

I love YOAKE because it is by far the best Japanese restaurant you can find in the VS/RW area. The homemade lemonades are really a 10/10 and you can't start a course without the 10/10 summer rolls (preferably with shrimp), as these are really a must before every main course. The “Lovely Duck” menu has recently been added back to the menu, which is why I will be visiting the restaurant more often. Due to the fact that this very simple dish has been “deleted”, we (between 5-10 people) will eat here much less often. I have really appreciated the extremely competent, friendly and fast staff since the beginning. Absolutely recommended for anyone who likes Asian food to dine here as it really is the top 1 favorite here.
