Very nice restaurant, a large and tasty selection. The waitresses were extremely friendly. The food came quickly even though the restaurant was full. A reservation is recommended. My partner and I will definitely eat there again! 😄

I went to Yoake for the first time today, following a recommendation from a friend. The food is good and can compete with others. However, I will no longer visit the restaurant myself and cannot recommend it. The bill was brought to us after just an hour, and I hadn't even finished my glass. We weren't informed of anything beforehand. This behavior is very unprofessional, but probably won't interest the owners. However, if you want a relaxing evening, you should definitely visit another location.

Incredible establishment. Delicious food, beautifully and juicy served. Always friendly staff and excellent service. Pleasant interior and constant cleanliness. The only point worth paying attention to is the high prices, but they are quite justified.

Great food in the higher price segment. We find the portions of the curry a bit small. Nowadays people act like they do in the big city. Tables can only be used for 1.5 hours. We like to go out to eat without time pressure, we like to sit longer, we like to enjoy 1.2 bottles of wine or cocktails WITHOUT me having to announce them! I think it's excessive and I'm deducting 1 star for that!

Although the restaurant is, as is typical for sushi, in the higher price segment, the quality and taste are worth every cent. Definitely one of the best Asian restaurants in the region

I got a lot of recommendations for the restaurant, it's very good for a snack, not so good for a restaurant... at times it felt like I was in an airport, if you want to spend a nice evening for four you have to go somewhere else... it's far too hectic .the food is okay and the selection of drinks as well, the service is good, perhaps we should have reserved a table in the window area and could have enjoyed the evening there, but this was not possible in the counter area

My partner and I are always impressed by the food, but again and again the service is very, very, very bad... the first time after receiving my food, a man from the service ran up to me and asked me in a loud and rude tone what I had ordered , (I was already eating at the moment) when I explained my order and pointed out that it was actually the same order I ordered, he rolled his eyes and left without any explanation, after which I was watched and annoyed by him every time looked at it, they didn't want to serve our table anymore and they left out the question of whether everything would fit. This made me feel totally uncomfortable. Well, we gave the whole store another chance, my partner asked more than a week before the reservation if it would be possible to set up candles or something similar for a fee, to which the answer was “yes” several times, well when we arrived there were no candles or anything Another thing, the food for 2 people was delivered with a time difference of 15 minutes, which is why my partner's food was almost cold…unacceptable.

Was there for the first time today, when we arrived we were assigned a table in the back area for two people. After ordering we were told to change tables because tables were reserved there. We were assigned a new table in the middle of the room. Since we didn't like the place, we wanted to move. In the meantime, the waitress came with our appetizer and looked for us for the table change. During this time we were seated again at a table in the back area and were then able to eat our starter. The goods receipt is also in the back area of ​​the restaurant; there was through traffic like at the train station. The service was constantly running back and forth to get new goods, drinks etc. Tables were moved back and forth, employees changed clothes and moved goods into the restaurant. We imagined something different when it came to a relaxing evening. I asked the service person for the bill and to speak to the boss. But I was told there was no one in charge. Food and service were okay, but our evening was spoiled. Thank you for nothing.

If you fancy sushi, then only here, a bit crowded and loud, but that's to be expected on a Saturday evening, 👍

I love the food and wasn't there for the first time last night. We had reserved by email for 6 p.m. Saturday evening, and it worked. There were two of us, we each had an appetizer, the crunchy rolls each, then my companion had sushi again and I had dessert, but then I wanted sushi again because I like to end on a savory note. However, we were then told that they would bring us the bill straight away because there were too many reservations and the time slot was only 1.5 hours. Even my objection that I wanted to order something else didn't change anything. Apart from the fact that I don't like such an assembly line approach, my bad rating mainly comes from the fact that this was not pointed out when I made the reservation or when I arrived at the restaurant. In this case, for example, I would have preferred to skip dessert and just order sushi again. Since it wasn't my first time there, I was also very surprised as there was no time limit before. If it is too much effort to communicate this to every guest, there should at least be a notice on the table/in the menu to draw attention to it. We were very disappointed, even though the food was very tasty and the service staff were otherwise very courteous and friendly.

Never eaten more delicious than here. Just good, thank you very much. I recommend everyone to try it out.

It was a bit uncomfortable sitting very close to the other customers. Especially when the other customer at the next table was sitting on the side of the table with his back completely leaning against our table. Of course, this cannot be blamed on the restaurant manager, but it would be nicer to leave a little more space between the tables. The quality of the food was good, especially there were decent pieces of salmon etc. on the plate and the restaurant was really well staffed in terms of the number of staff. Of course, with inflation and today's times, all of this has to be financed somehow, but €180 for 4 people was steep (compared to other restaurants). It was okay to try for the first visit, but for some people it's certainly not affordable on a regular basis due to the price.

I had asked to receive a dessert platter with a birthday greeting and the team fulfilled my wish immediately. It was a perfect little surprise that was also on the house. I love YOAKE because it is by far the best Japanese restaurant you can find in the VS/RW area. The homemade lemonades are really a 10/10 and you can't start a course without the 10/10 summer rolls (preferably with shrimp), as these are really a must before every main course. The “Lovely Duck” menu has recently been added back to the menu, which is why I will be visiting the restaurant more often. Due to the fact that this very simple dish has been “deleted”, we (between 5-10 people) will eat here much less often. I have really appreciated the extremely competent, friendly and fast staff since the beginning. Absolutely recommended for anyone who likes Asian food to dine here as it really is the top 1 favorite here.

It used to be my favorite restaurant and I was also a regular customer. The last few times I was very disappointed. A) Sushi portions have become very small. They don't justify the price. You won't get full! B) You are almost pushed out of your seat and constantly asked to order something. You don't have a quiet moment to eat or talk, there are constant interruptions from the waitress. C) It was pointed out that we should please pay and leave so that other guests could sit down. We had just finished eating and the request came. This happened more often now. Very cheeky for the prices that such a “service” exists. I hope that my criticism is received and that something will change.

At first I was a huge fan of Yoake, I went there with my partner almost every week, but recently I've unfortunately noticed that the quality of the food and the service has deteriorated significantly. No effort is put into eating as before, and sushi rolls are often served that are falling apart or have huge pieces of avocado/cucumber inside. I'm more than disappointed with the service at the moment, the employees prefer to talk and laugh loudly with each other instead of serving. You often have to wait a long time to order and pay, even though there is nothing going on and they have nothing to do because they are not working but chatting extremely loudly. I was really a huge fan, so I'm very sorry to have to give a not so good review.

I've been missing a higher quality Asian restaurant in VS for a long time that doesn't always offer dishes that everyone else has and I think I've found it. Was there for the first time today and was thrilled. Yes, the prices are a little higher than those of the "cheap" fast food Asian places, but the quality is right. Great value for money! What I thought was great about the food was that not everything was fried. The duck dish actually tasted like duck and not like breading and frying fat. And the homemade lemonade was also great, luckily not so sweet but refreshing. I can only recommend it. And the waitresses were all super friendly.
