Always good; Everyone can find something from the buffet here. The food was hot and plentiful, and more was added upon request. The only criticism: the Korean-style potatoes used to be better!

Delicious buffet in a quiet atmosphere.

After some of the bad reviews I have to take countermeasures. We go there often, usually at lunchtime, because then the portions are a little smaller and for people of a certain age... Now we were there in the evening with 13 people and we can say that everyone was happy! 11x buffet and 2x a la card. Above all, that's something. The very scolded buffet was very well received, everything was always refilled and was even warm. And that on a Monday that wasn't particularly busy. The good lunch service wasn't quite as perfect here - you had to ask, for example, whether you could get something to drink - but that worked straight away. So: everything is ok. and a clear recommendation. What strikes us as particularly positive is that when you season with glutamate, you don't use a tablespoon, but rather with your thumb and forefinger.

Food was very good, carpet and furniture were a bit old and could be replaced. After a long time we were in the Yellow River again and had lunch according to the menu. It was delicious, fresh and served hot. And the chairs were reupholstered 👍👍👍, the carpet was cleaned and if it is replaced at some point and the fountain is removed or activated, it will be perfect. Then there are the other two stars 🌟 too 😉. Keep it up!

We've been there pretty much every two weeks on Fridays for about 2 years and I can't quite understand some of the reviews. The food has always been perfect. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The price structure is great when I compare what we paid at another Chinese restaurant in Lüdenscheid before we switched to Yellow River. Of course, every visitor has their own experiences, but so far we can only report positive things.

Four of us were here on July 6th, 2024. My husband, my 7 year old daughter and my 5 year old son. My son ate 5 shrimp chips, 2 mini spring rolls and a scoop of ice cream from the buffet. Whatever we gave him to try, we parents had to eat because he didn't like it. As children up to 120cm we had to pay €10.90 for it! But the big thing was that our 7-year-old daughter, who eats like a sparrow, had to pay the full price of €16.90 because she is taller than 120cm. That is disproportionate. Elsewhere, children are divided into several price groups based on age. We were here for the last time! It's a shame, because it used to be the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Unfortunately, those times are over.

Plenty of choice, buffet was great. The staff was extremely friendly. We as a company were completely satisfied and would like to come back.

I have to say food was okay, ambience and atmosphere is good. Parking spaces are plentiful and the price is also very solid. A Chinese restaurant is like any other, you can do it more often if you live nearby.

Good evening, I would like to give 0 stars for the service and ambience. I am extremely disappointed and upset with my recent visit to your restaurant. My children 4 and 6 years old, the children's aunt and I were in this restaurant and wanted to have a nice evening. The pricing policy for the children's buffet is a disgrace. It is absurd that children up to 1.20 m tall have to pay €10 even though they hardly eat anything. What is even more incomprehensible is that children over 1.20 m are already treated like adults (€16.90) and asked to pay. Apparently no thought was given here, because no child eats quantities that justify such prices. When we asked whether a children's buffet could be shared, the service staff greeted us with an insolence that was unparalleled - "Everyone has to pay, including the children and her daughter already looks like 1.20m to me, so she has to pay €16.90! and They are not allowed to give anything to their children." When the suggestion was made to use the age of the children as a benchmark instead of their height, they said we could please go to another restaurant and leave the children at home or just cook at home - it would be cheaper! This type of “hospitality” is shocking and feels like a direct invitation to leave your establishment. At that moment, the food on my plate became unappetizing and I wanted to leave. The situation was made even more uncomfortable by the constant observation. As if that wasn't enough, our children's plates, which were already empty, were cleared away along with the glasses of water that had not yet been drunk, without taking into account that we had ordered and paid for this water. To make matters worse, the buffet that was announced for 5:30 p.m. was still not fully set up at 6:00 p.m. This is unacceptable and shows a lack of organization. I am shocked by the latest experience at this restaurant and can only hope that my feedback leads to much-needed change. Which of course won't happen. Such a lack of child friendliness and basic respect for guests should not be standard anywhere. The toilets have been without a changing table for years and I had to change my baby on the floor a few years ago!!! After 4 years nothing has changed there... it has gotten even worse.

We have been eating here for many years now, ever since I was a child. When I think back, I was always happy to eat here. Unfortunately, this has diminished greatly. After every meal I say "It was the last time", but I didn't want to believe it and visited it again today. The service is commendable. The waitresses are always on site and look after the well-being of the guests. The ambience is appealing and you feel comfortable even if it is far too warm at the table in summer. Unfortunately, the buffet always disappoints. An attempt is made to warm up food from midday. Replenishments are needed when the house is full like on holidays. Food dried up in the buffet and we didn't replace it. Today it was again, the food. It was almost cold and unfortunately not edible, but hunger drove it in. This was reported immediately and should be taken care of immediately. But unfortunately the third plate was still not edible. This time I will say goodbye to Yellow River for good. I can't agree with the last two women...especially the last lady with her negative review. I think the store is really great and always feels like I'm at home. Toilets are always clean and always smell great like fresh stones (flower scent)

The very last shop!!! After a long, tiring day at work, you want to treat yourself to something delicious from the Asian restaurant. Call and describe MULTIPLE times what you want. Chicken WITHOUT breading, vegetables WITHOUT sauce. She says that's dry then. My friend says that's ok, my girlfriend wants it that way. He goes there, comes home, what did they do, BREADED meat (floppy, not crispy) vegetables (if you can call bean sprouts, onions and peppers vegetables) in 2 liters of SAUCE! I would have loved to go back and throw it at their door. This is not the first time that something completely different has been made as ordered. But definitely the last time. Impossible, difficult to understand, very poor quality and expensive too! I'm incredibly angry and hungry! ZERO STARS!!!

It's been a long time since I've eaten as bad a meal as I did today in this restaurant! If you can even call it a buffet, because almost everything was empty and it wasn't refilled, if there was anything left, then the food had been sitting there for hours and was barely edible! Cold, tough and hard! The service was so unfriendly!!! NEVER AGAIN and absolutely not recommended

Went there again and again, everything was good until the change of ownership... outrageously expensive, buffet now €16.90, child €10! Wow! 0.5l cola €4.90!!!! The food was only lukewarm, the containers were barely filled and partly covered... The fried things were mostly fried to death, the breading was already gray, the meat was hard or tough. I can remember that there were also special features such as: Kangaroo and finally Chinese schnapps, unfortunately no longer available. In contrast to before, the shop was not very busy on Sundays, the parking lot was empty and not cleared! Tip: work on your kitchen and change the water in the well, it is full of fish feces, I would be interested in the nitrate/nitrite value. We will not visit this restaurant again!!!

Unfortunately, all previous speakers are right here, the buffet is mostly cold and the quality is not good! Spongy duck, hard meat (everyone who cooks knows what that means!) It's a shame it was really good here in the beginning.

Tolles Restaurant! Vor allem die Blumen-Deko auf dem Herren-WC hat mich fasziniert. Müssen wohl Pissnelken sein.

Früher bei den Vorbesitzern war es ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Leider ist bis auf der Name und die Lokalität selbst, nichts mehr davon übrig geblieben... Das Essen ist sehr schlecht geworden genau wie der Service. Wir haben es 3 mal Versucht seit dem Besitzerwechsel und leider waren wir durchgehend enttäuscht... bei unseren letzten Besuch waren wir sogar noch ein Stück weit mehr enttäuscht. Alles wird teurer klar, aber schon das sie für ein kleinkind 3 1/2 Jahre 7,50 Euro verlangen war ein Schock, als dann jedoch bei unserem letzten Besuch und Versuch im Lokal sogar 10 Euro verlangt wurden. War das Maß voll !!! Dazu kommt der schlechte Zustand der Lokalität, wer genau hinschaut wird einigen Schim... finden usw. Leider werden wir dieses Restaurant nie mehr wieder besuchen ! Obwohl wir früher sehr gerne hier waren.

Essen nichts besonderes und leider lau warm. Ambiente etwas old und das Personal übereifrig beim abräumen.

Wir waren an einem Samstag zur Mittagszeit in der Nähe und entscheidung uns hier etwas zu Essen. Als wir in das Lokal kamen wahren wir die ersten und bis auf ein weiteres Paar das etwas Später dazu kam blieb es auch so. Nach und nach wurde das sehr übersichtlich Buffet aufgebaut und wir konnten es uneingeschränkt nutzen. Bei manchen Gerichten gab es Probleme mit dem Wärme, was auf Grund der Speisewärmer nicht passieren sollte. Der Preis von 16,90€ ist im vergleich zur besser aufgestellten Konkurrenz nicht gerechtfertigt. Zusammenfassendein: ein Buffet was auf Grund seiner einfachheit und der sehr beschränkten Auswahl nicht mehr Zeit gemäß ist.

Leckeres Essen. Immer frisch und heiß. Ich habe hier die beste Pekingsuppe der letzten 10 Jahre gegessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir werden hier leider nicht mehr essen gehen. Das Essen war zum größten Teil kalt. Vegetarier haben keine Auswahl, denn selbst in den Pilzen waren Hühnerknochen!! Wie sieht es dann in der Küche aus? Wir sind echt nicht anspruchsvoll aber vom letzten Besuch waren wir leider sehr erschrocken. Auch das Ambiente Ist grauenvoll. Auf den Tischen steht noch nicht einmal ein Teelicht oder irgendwas nettes. Das Personal war super lieb und aufmerksam, jedoch reicht dies alleine nicht. Schade!

Wir waren mitten in der Woche da. Das Lokal war gut besucht, der Service war gut und das Büffet reichhaltig (wurde immer wieder aufgefüllt).

Kinder anscheinend nicht erwünscht. Keine große Auswahl, teils kalt. Personal ging so. Essen für Kinder überhaupt nicht vorhanden. Ambiente sehr eng.

Personal war ok Essen war so lala wenn es nicht kalt war. Nicht kinderfreundlich,kein Essen für Kinder (Kleinkinder) vorhanden. Sehr wenig Auswahl an Essen. Leider hatten 3 von 4 Erwachsenen danach darm Beschwerden. Und der absolute Hammer war dann das meine 16 Monate alte Tochter auch bezahlen sollte,dabei hat sie nicht gegessen weil für sie nichts dabei war(nicht mal pommes). Und als es bei der Bezahlung dabei stand meinte meine mama nur siehst erst 16 Monate und hat nichts gegessen da fing sie an zu diskutieren sie sei ja immerhin schon viel größer als 16 Monate. Einfach nur lächerlich erste und letzte mal dort gewesen

Nach Corona waren wir als Familie mal wieder im Restaurant essen. Das Essen war von der Qualität her okay. Leider hat das Angebot sich verringert, vor 2-3 Jahren gab es schon mal Highlights wie z.B. Känguru-Fleisch, davon ist heute nichts mehr zusehen. Als Buffet-Gast muss man leider mehr Zeit in Anspruch nehmen, weil man auf einige Produkte länger warten muss, dies war früher nichts so. Zum Schluss war ich Mega enttäuscht, dass es nicht mal einen Reisschnaps gab, dies ist eigentlich beim Chinesen Standard. 😔 Preis/Leistung ist geradeso okay, ein bisschen ärgerlich, dass Kids für das Buffet mehr bezahlen, als sie tatsächlich verzehren. Wahrscheinlich kommen wir wieder, aber eher ohne Kids.

Für das Buffet ca. 17€ bezahlt und das Essen war richtig lecker, dazu war der Service wirklich gut. Sehr zu empfehlen👍

Wann war stets bemüht das Buffet aufzufüllen

Das Essen ist unter neuer Leitung sehr gut geworden die Bedienung ist immer sehr freundlich sowie die gaststätte mach ein guten Eindruck.

Buffet wird schnell aufgefüllt. Hier wird jeder fündig, über Nudeln und Reis auch traditionelle Gerichte zum zusammen stellen. Es gibt auch eine kleine Auswahl an Sushi. Benutze Teller werden immer wieder weggeräumt. Immer wieder gerne.

Essen wie immer gut , freundliche Bedienung. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren Samstags schon um 17:30 Uhr da. Buffet wurde gerade aufgefüllt. Alles frisch, reichhaltig und sehr schmackhaft. 5 ⭐️ Leider haben die frittierten Fischgerichte etwas zuviel Geruch in den Gastraum abgegeben, nächstes Mal setzen wir uns etwas entfernter an einen Tisch. Mit Vorspeise, diversen Hauptgerichten und Nachspeise ein gelungenes Essen. Vielen Dank auch für die freundliche Bedienung 👍🏻 Wir kommen wieder 😉

Heute am 16.04.23 dort gewesen Ankunft 14:45. Auf Nachfragen wegen Buffet würde uns gesagt wir können es noch draußen lassen. Mittags Tisch bis 15 Uhr Preis ab 9.90.. 3 Erwachsene und 2 Kleinkinder 3,5 und 1,5. Unsere Rechnung betrug dann 77€. Pro erwachsen den Abend Buffet Preis von 16.90€ berechnet und der Brüller die beiden kleinen mit jeweils 4,50 obwohl die nicht gross was gegessen haben. Dazu kam beschrenktes Buffet und alles kalt. Sry Inflation hin oder her aber mich sieht dort keiner mehr. Mich so aufgeregt darüber das das Essen wieder raus kam.

Ein sehr schönes Buffet-Retaurant mit erschwinglichen Preisen. P.p inkl. Getränk ca. 22€. Das Buffet ist nicht sehr groß, dafür schmeckt alles sehr gut, war warm und immer reichlich da. Auch an Tischen mangelt es nicht, es gibt auch einen kleinen Goldfischbrunnen mitten im Restaurant. Keine Barrierefreiheit
