Ye Ye's Kitchen UG (haftungsbeschränkt) in Kiel

Today, the three of us ate at Marek's. We each ordered ribs, salmon, and the Ursprung skewer. Overall, we were very satisfied. The sauce on the ribs was quite sweet and delicious. The texture of the meat was firmer than usual for ribs, but in a pleasant way. For the perfect dish, I would have liked a generous pinch of high-quality smoked salt, but otherwise, it was excellent. The salmon dish was perfectly balanced; we would definitely order it again. The skewer was perfectly seasoned; it just needed a bit more heat, perhaps a touch darker on the outside so you could really taste the flames. With the side salad, you can tell that the chef has kept the things that work well over the years. I recognized the mushrooms, pickled carrots, and the dressing. I would have liked a little more separation between the fresh salad ingredients and the very good pickled vegetables. That would have made it easier to appreciate each one. A little less dressing would have been nice, too. But these are all minor issues. The server was professionally competent and proactively pointed out the unavailable soup. When she then used the Italian plural of "espresso" when we ordered dessert and coffee, I couldn't help but grin. We trudged home, full and happy, through the drizzle.

We had a Christmas party there with around 65 people. The food in the form of a buffet was rich, varied, high quality and delicious! The service, especially when ordering drinks, was very friendly and, above all, quick. It was a really cozy atmosphere, which was ideal for extensive celebrations. The doner kebab is a 7 out of 10. Bread: Really good (homemade?) Meat: Was good (lacked a bit of zest) Sauces: Plenty and a wide selection, adding good flavor Side dishes: Standard selection The doner kebab was relatively slow to prepare, but still okay. What's missing: The flavor could be more intense. Grilled vegetables would take the doner kebab to another level. Overall, the doner kebab here is above average for Kiel and is therefore highly recommended!

Everything was very good, the service was just top and friendly and the food was also incredibly delicious, I can only recommend it
