There were two of us, and we ordered two doner kebabs. Unfortunately, it took a very long time, but they tasted very good. We were about halfway through when we were told to leave. I told the male staff member we'd leave as soon as we were finished, but he told us to leave immediately... The meat isn't bad, but the staff is awful... I will never come back and will advise everyone I know against it.

About three weeks ago, four of us went to Yaprak in Kornwestheim, and now I feel compelled to write this review. We ordered a mixed grill, a doner kebab plate, three-quarters of a doner kebab, and lentil soup. First off: The food (mixed grill, doner kebab plate, and doner kebab) was really good. The waiter was also friendly, attentive, and professional – no complaints there. The reason for the poor rating is solely the owner's reaction to our complaint. The lentil soup was very watery and didn't taste good. We addressed this calmly. The owner then came to our table, took a spoon herself, and argued that two other tables had also eaten soup and no one had complained. Therefore, she claimed, it couldn't be assumed that the soup was bad just because we were the only ones who complained. ... The soup was clearly full at that point; only two or three spoonfuls were taken out. To argue this point is simply weak when the situation is so obvious. I find this kind of argumentation and handling of legitimate criticism to be completely unprofessional and customer-unfriendly. Especially in a well-run establishment, I would have expected more understanding and a willingness to find a solution. It's a real shame, because in the end, it's not the good food that remains in my memory, but rather the negative experience with the owner.

The doner kebab I remember is sadly no longer available here. I'm very disappointed. My return visit after two years was somewhat disappointing. The meat is slightly tough and dry. The sauces are good, without garlic or mayonnaise. But overall, the doner was still dry and lacked flavor. The meat even tasted more like barnyard meat, but that's a matter of taste; some like it strong. In addition, the cashier was very unfriendly after I asked if the sauces contained mayonnaise or garlic. It's a shame; it doesn't fit with the otherwise professional appearance. The restrooms are very clean.

Visiting Yaprak in Kornwestheim was absolutely worthwhile. The food was authentic, fresh, and prepared with great care – it instantly made me feel at home. We combined our visit with a short trip, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. You can tell that they value quality and hospitality. I actually discovered Yaprak through YouTube – and I definitely wasn't disappointed.

I recently went to this snack bar with a friend. After initially sitting at an uncomfortable high-top table with high chairs, a regular table became available. We moved to a different table ourselves, which is perfectly normal practice in a snack bar of this type, especially since there were no signs or other information indicating that we needed to ask first. Shortly afterward, an older waiter approached us, whom I hadn't seen all day. His first words were a sharp accusation that we should have asked him before moving. How were we supposed to know that without any information, without introductions, without any communication whatsoever? The accusation that we should have asked him, when that was his very first comment to us? He repeated this accusation several times as he walked past, without giving us a chance to respond calmly or clarify the situation. This behavior seemed less like genuine concern for the smooth running of the business and more like an impulsive need to exert authority over guests who hadn't given any cause for complaint. What was particularly noticeable was the sudden shift in tone towards respect after a male acquaintance sat down at our table. This raises legitimate questions about the respectful treatment of female guests! Friendliness and respectful address would have been a given. Instead, it seemed that impulsive anger and unnecessary dominance were prioritized over professional customer service. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience that significantly detracted from the overall impression of our visit.

19:25 and no more meat on the grill

For me, this is the best doner kebab in the Stuttgart area. The meat actually tastes like meat, just like eating a steak. That's what makes it unique. It's on the pricier side, but for me, it's worth it.

Having heard nothing but good things about this store, I decided to try it out myself today. Prices are a bit higher than average, but the quality and service more than justify it. The store was packed, but the service was quick and very friendly.

An employee with a serious anger management problem snapped at us because we sat down at a table with a rag on it that hadn't been cleaned yet. He told us to take the table opposite, which we didn't want because it was by the door and too cold. I explained this to him politely. Then he said we could stay but continued ranting that he couldn't understand why "people" always sat at the dirty tables! He threw the rag on the table, picked it up again, and stormed off, still cursing. First of all, we're not "people," we're customers. Secondly, what was the point of that? We decided to leave, and as we were leaving, we explained why at the counter.

In and out again. The staff is a disaster. Makes you not want to order anything.

When our one-year-old son cried, we were asked to "please quiet him down" because he was supposedly disturbing the others. Even after we explained that he was hungry and that we had already been waiting for some time, we received little understanding. Instead, we were again asked to calm him down, even though we were already trying. When our six-year-old son shouted something – not particularly loudly – ​​he was immediately gestured to be quiet. Furthermore, one of the families present was asked to get up because the seats were needed – even though they weren't fully ready. We ourselves were also signaled that we should leave soon. Interestingly, the seats remained empty for quite some time afterward. Another negative point: We had ordered specific dishes, but more was delivered than we wanted, resulting in an additional charge. Overall, our visit was unsatisfactory in several respects: overpriced, lacking in quality, and with very unfriendly service. We will not be returning.

This place isn't what it used to be!!! If you have a lot of time on your hands and want to endure long waits for terrible service, then go ahead!! At least 30-40 minutes. They seem to only want customers who order their overpriced plated meals. Doner customers have to order at the counter and aren't served at their tables. Today, my doner arrived in burnt bread. And you can get steak doner everywhere these days.

No fluctuations, no "good one day, bad the next" – consistently top quality. The staff works quickly, cleanly, respectfully, and professionally. You always feel welcome here as a customer. And if influencer praise is ever truly justified, it's here: Yaprak is one of the few places that aren't just good in videos, but even better in real life. And now for the kicker: I've also been to all those "influencer hype" places that are popping up everywhere in Baden-Württemberg lately. Everyone knows them: Videos everywhere, clips everywhere, big claims everywhere – supposedly "the most amazing döner ever" or "legendary." And then you bite into it and just think: Is that it? Is this supposed to be hype? More show than substance. Colorful marketing, beautiful scenery – but absolutely disappointing in terms of taste. Yaprak, on the other hand? Zero fakery, zero showmanship – but full commitment. This shows just how powerful a döner can truly be when quality is more important than camera effects. While these trendy shops thrive on social media, Yaprak thrives on genuine flavor and honest work. And that's precisely why they stand out so much. For me, it's clear: The only döner in the region that truly deserves the influencer hype. The rest, by comparison, seem like a bad trailer without a film.

I went out of my way to try the doner kebab because Holle had it so highly ranked. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth it at all. The bread was okay, but the rest was forgettable. A third of the bread was empty (see photo). Just two small tomatoes and a few onions on top of a small amount of meat. And honestly, the meat had absolutely no flavor. Bland and tasteless. Everything here is clearly geared solely towards maximizing profit. For €10.50, you should at least get a full meal. This wasn't the case. Thankfully, on my way back to the car, I discovered the Balkan bakery, so I managed to get a filling meal for next to nothing. 😂

The kebab is incredibly delicious. In my opinion, it's definitely one of the top three kebabs in the greater Stuttgart area.

Unfortunately, the doner kebab was sold out an hour before closing time, as was the Adana kebab. So, in a pinch, we grabbed the veal skewer at Yufka. The place obviously thrives on meat. The pieces of veal were cooked pink, juicy, and tender – something I've never experienced at Turkish restaurants in Stuttgart. Service was very friendly and open. Deductions for the really limited selection of ingredients for salad and other side dishes. No white cabbage, no red cabbage, no corn, no cucumbers, no grilled vegetables – that could definitely be more contemporary. It wouldn't be so bad if the meat and salad were treated to a good meal – but they aren't. None of us four were full from our Yufka, and that was over 10 euros... Conclusion: The meat quality sets standards, but the value for money has plenty of room for improvement.

Based on the consistently positive reviews of this kebab, I wanted to try it today. After a somewhat long journey, upon arrival, I was very rudely informed that it would take at least half an hour to get my food. I then chatted briefly with an employee and asked why the kebab was taking so long and that I was very hungry. Then a second employee came over and said the kebab would take an hour. I finally lost my temper and left. I don't understand why you can't pre-order online and why they don't offer small starters (a bit of mezze or soup). I think if you have to wait an hour for a kebab, you might as well serve the customer and offer a wider selection of dishes.

I drove three hours all the way from Switzerland to wait 45 minutes for a kebab. Not because there were a lot of people there, but because they only had one skewer. (I wasn't there during rush hour.)

Never again. Absolutely rude customer service!! Communication? WRONG! We called at 7:07 PM and asked if there was still enough meat. We were told on the phone that they couldn't guarantee it and that we should order immediately. We then gave them two yufka and a doner kebab and announced that we would be there in about 30 minutes. We arrived after just 20 minutes, called in with our phone order, and were asked to sit down. Nothing happened until 8:00 PM, and only after asking again did we get our food. Meanwhile, the owner came to our table and loudly berated me, saying I had placed the "takeaway" order and was now to blame for the food being prepared twice. Apparently, this meant other guests would have to go without doner kebabs. Instead of understanding or a calm explanation, we were yelled at and treated very rudely – an absolute no-go when it comes to dealing with guests. As we were paying, the owner's son calmed down a bit, but the owner continued to rant. The food wasn't particularly tasty, but the disrespectful behavior and aggressive attitude ruined the entire experience. It's a shame, as the hype surrounding this place has apparently done more harm than good. We definitely won't be coming back.

The portions are a disaster: the meat was greasy and oversalted, the fries were ridiculous (about 14 per person – no joke!), and the salad was cheap and packaged like it came from a discount store. And €40 for two people with drinks? That's extortionate and has nothing to do with honest gastronomy. This place isn't about the guests, it's just about making a quick buck. For us, it's clear: Yaprak Grill Kornwestheim – never again! Anyone who values ​​quality, fairness, and respect should steer clear of this place.

Had the Captain's Plate today for €16. It tasted okay, the salad was absolutely nothing special, run-of-the-mill. The fries weren't in the fryer for long enough. The meat was good but so salty it was almost impossible to eat. Not good for the price; the portion was medium to small. I'll probably only go back for one visit.
