First of all, what a fantastic Yaprak meat skewer they have right at the entrance. Even if you're already hungry, it makes you salivate even more. I had the regular doner kebab with extra meat and everything. The taste deserves special mention. The homemade doner bread is nice and crispy on the outside, slightly fluffy on the inside, but not too much bread that it steals the show from the meat; the bread holds everything together perfectly. The meat is reminiscent of ultra-thinly sliced steak strips with maximum roasted flavors, simply delicious. The first bite of the doner kebab is simply fantastic; it's super soft, you get a burst of flavor from all sides, plus a great mouthfeel from the crispy bread. All the ingredients work together very well, and after the first bite, you're immediately hungry for more. So, treat yourself, folks.

Unfortunately, the doner kebab was sold out an hour before closing time, as was the Adana kebab. So, in a pinch, we grabbed the veal skewer at Yufka. The place obviously thrives on meat. The pieces of veal were cooked pink, juicy, and tender – something I've never experienced at Turkish restaurants in Stuttgart. Service was very friendly and open. Deductions for the really limited selection of ingredients for salad and other side dishes. No white cabbage, no red cabbage, no corn, no cucumbers, no grilled vegetables – that could definitely be more contemporary. It wouldn't be so bad if the meat and salad were treated to a good meal – but they aren't. None of us four were full from our Yufka, and that was over 10 euros... Conclusion: The meat quality sets standards, but the value for money has plenty of room for improvement.

Yesterday, we went to this kebab shop as part of a large group without prior notice, as it had been recommended to us. It far exceeded our expectations. Excellent service, served by a super friendly and very humorous man. The food tasted excellent, the meat was exceptionally good. You can't compare it to a regular kebab shop. Super tender, low in fat, and delicious. They could have left out the sauces, as the flavor was simply too good. Unfortunately, none of us had any cash, so there was no tip. We'll make up for that next time.

Based on the consistently positive reviews of this kebab, I wanted to try it today. After a somewhat long journey, upon arrival, I was very rudely informed that it would take at least half an hour to get my food. I then chatted briefly with an employee and asked why the kebab was taking so long and that I was very hungry. Then a second employee came over and said the kebab would take an hour. I finally lost my temper and left. I don't understand why you can't pre-order online and why they don't offer small starters (a bit of mezze or soup). I think if you have to wait an hour for a kebab, you might as well serve the customer and offer a wider selection of dishes.

Four of us ate at Yaprak Grillhouse today and ordered a yufka and three doner kebabs – two with extra meat and one regular. Not only did everything look excellent, but they tasted just as good, too. We've eaten doner kebabs many times before, but Yaprak Grillhouse truly takes the term "doner" to a new level. From the bread to the meat, everything was perfect. The price of €10.50 for a classic doner kebab is absolutely justified for this quality. The version with cheese and extra meat for €13.50 is also a true treat and also very fair. We each finished off with a piece of baklava – that was also really good. If you want to enjoy a doner kebab of the highest quality, we highly recommend Yaprak Grillhouse!

Unfortunately, I have to give everything five stars! I've never had a better kebab in my life, even when I lived near Heilbronn. Until recently, I regularly drove the 50 minutes just to eat this kebab. 🥙 An absolute masterpiece! Always friendly and top-notch service. Extremely disrespectful and unfriendly employees who show zero concern for the customer's well-being. Quotes like "stop eating such disgusting food" or "don't let them wrap your kebab at the counter" are completely inappropriate. Customer requests are equally ignored, and you're just met with annoyed and disrespectful stares. Prices are sometimes too high for what you get. The staff either needs training in customer service and friendliness, or they need to be replaced. I wouldn't recommend anyone to get food here. 🫡

This kebab shop can be recommended without reservation. The meat is noticeably better than the industrially produced rotisserie skewers with questionable ingredients and quality that can be found in most kebab shops. The ambiance is also relatively appealing for a grill of this kind. You can sit both inside and outside. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. Compared to other kebab shops, Grillhu is in the higher price segment. Given the significantly better quality, this is justified and perfectly acceptable, in my opinion.

Never again. Absolutely rude customer service!! Communication? WRONG! We called at 7:07 PM and asked if there was still enough meat. We were told on the phone that they couldn't guarantee it and that we should order immediately. We then gave them two yufka and a doner kebab and announced that we would be there in about 30 minutes. We arrived after just 20 minutes, called in with our phone order, and were asked to sit down. Nothing happened until 8:00 PM, and only after asking again did we get our food. Meanwhile, the owner came to our table and loudly berated me, saying I had placed the "takeaway" order and was now to blame for the food being prepared twice. Apparently, this meant other guests would have to go without doner kebabs. Instead of understanding or a calm explanation, we were yelled at and treated very rudely – an absolute no-go when it comes to dealing with guests. As we were paying, the owner's son calmed down a bit, but the owner continued to rant. The food wasn't particularly tasty, but the disrespectful behavior and aggressive attitude ruined the entire experience. It's a shame, as the hype surrounding this place has apparently done more harm than good. We definitely won't be coming back.

The doner meat is unlike any other doner kebab. Thinly sliced meat, delicious, and without any fat. The rice and salad round out the dish. It was served with warm bread. Hello, we each ordered a doner kebab plate today. You could taste the quality of the meat! However, for our taste, it was too salty and fatty. When you're committed to quality, it's a shame when the salad tastes like a cheap pre-packaged salad from a discount store. We were allowed to sit down, and the employee came to the table to take our order. He was friendly. After bringing us the food, he didn't come back to ask if everything was okay. Personally, there was too little yogurt on my plate. It wasn't busy, so he certainly had plenty of time. We paid a total of €45.50 for a standard doner kebab plate and one with 300g more meat, plus two bottles of water. That's a hefty price, and in my opinion, the plate doesn't do it justice. Perhaps they should have opted for a doner kebab instead. Unfortunately, the kebab shop is surrounded by a betting shop/casino and a barbershop, which spoils the ambiance. We don't want to come here to eat with our family and children.

Well, there are many people in Germany who think they should open a kebab shop even though they don't have the slightest clue about what they're doing, but this one is definitely not one of them. Everything here is just right. The flatbread was incredibly tender and fluffy, the meat of remarkable quality, second to none... And to those who still complain about the price, go and eat grass. Substandard. You want your kebab with a different sauce? You get yelled at. Want your kebab without onions? Demonstrative eye rolls. That makes you feel truly welcome. I've been here several times now and I'm impressed every time! The doner tastes incredibly good – superbly seasoned, juicy meat, fresh bread, and crisp vegetables. The Iskender is also a real highlight and is prepared with lots of love. The staff is very friendly and accommodating; you immediately feel welcome. There are great seating options both inside and outside, everything is clean, comfortable, and there's plenty of space. The prices are absolutely fair and reasonable, especially for the quality you get here. In my opinion, the best doner shop in the area!!!

It used to be one of my absolute favorite places – now it's just a must-visit. Four to five years ago, I ate here two to three times a month. The food was, then as now, outstanding in taste – truly, by far the best meat in the entire Ludwigsburg region. Nothing has changed, and that's precisely why I still come today – even if only once a quarter out of necessity. Unfortunately, the shop has changed dramatically in recent years – and not for the better. Since more and more rappers, footballers, influencers, and food vloggers have started showing up there, the prices have sometimes increased several times a year. A grilled plate used to cost €12.50; today, the same plate costs €17. And although prices are rising, the portions have gotten smaller – yes, really. I took photos both then and now – this isn't an isolated incident; it's become the norm. You pay significantly more for less meat these days. And if you don't order a drink to avoid wasting even more money, the waiter will rudely address you with, "Why not?" Honestly – what's it to him? In the past, you were greeted warmly, served attentively, and never forgotten at your table. Today, the service seems irritated, impersonal, and rushed. Friendliness? Unfortunately, not what it used to be. On top of that, if you arrive after 5–6 p.m., you often don't get any meat – that was never a problem before. And what I can't understand at all: How can a restaurant afford to simply close for an entire month of the year – in the middle of peak season? Actually, you can't afford something like that in the restaurant industry. But with the constant price increases and the now completely excessive price level, they can afford it. And that's exactly what I find outrageous – at the expense of the guests, who are expected to pay more and more but get less and less to finance their vacation in Turkey or elsewhere. If you can't keep up with the growing popularity and the crowds, you should seriously consider opening a second location. It shouldn't be financially difficult, after all. Often, all the tables are occupied, and reservations aren't available. If you do get a seat during peak hours, it can sometimes take a full 45-50 minutes to get your food. The atmosphere is very loud, and you don't get noticed. If you want to ask for something, no one comes by – you have to ask for 5-10 minutes before you're seen. Conclusion: The taste is still outstanding – but the service, the portions, and especially the value for money have become disappointing. Before all the hype, the restaurant was truly a 10 out of 10. These days, I wish more people would speak up and take action, rather than support the price increase.

One of the best kebabs in the Stuttgart area. I drive 30km especially to get there. Today too. I hope I won't be disappointed because they're out of meat. People are willing to pay €30 or more for a steak, but they're always stingy with a good quality kebab. I could eat your kebab anywhere for €5. It tastes just as good. Yesterday I was there around 1:30 p.m. and it wasn't that crowded. It was probably the owner who asked me what I wanted, but I told him I didn't know yet and needed to study the menu first. After some thought, I decided on the classic doner kebab in flatbread with ezme (a slightly spicy red paste), arugula, and onions. Since I don't usually drink anything with my meal, that was left out. The taste reminded me a bit of the doner kebab I had 30 years ago—but different—and it seemed very aromatic and of good quality. The quantity was perfect; at least I was full until late into the night and didn't need to eat anything else afterward. The flatbread was very tasty and didn't give me any heartburn or anything like that. This should be an indication of good workmanship and quality. The waitress behind the counter and the owner seemed polite, courteous, and warm to me. The price is debatable, but I'm the kind of person who wouldn't even pay €1 for a minced meat doner (or, in modern German, a rotisserie meat skewer), and I'm also shocked at how carelessly people pay €7 for junk (exceptions prove the rule, and relatively good minced meat doner kebabs are rare). A doner kebab that's worth its high price! The doner kebab is located right next to Kornwestheim Pbf train station. It's a few minutes' walk by car to find free parking. As soon as you arrive, you receive a friendly welcome and greeting. When ordering, the staff explain the products, and you can tell that everyone has thoroughly researched the products. The food was also brought to our table by a very friendly gentleman. You can see that the skewer is the center of attention here and is treated with great dignity. The skewer masters are masters of their craft. The meat is phenomenally seasoned and tastes almost like a steak. You can tell that the doner kebab is focused on the meat, and therefore the rest of the dish is kept very simple, which I really like. The sauces are very good and the vegetables are fresh. I'm also very impressed with the selection of vegetables. The bread is homemade and very tasty and airy. The bread is baked, not toasted. I don't understand why so many people complain about the prices. If you can't see and appreciate quality, you should stay away. The food and service here are RESTAURANT QUALITY and therefore relatively affordable. P.S.: Backlava is also great.

The kebab was good, but by no means the best kebab you'll ever eat. The meat was good, but you can get it elsewhere. For something like that, a half-hour wait and, above all, a price of €11.50 (ELEVEN FIFTY EUROS FOR A KEBABE!!!) is completely excessive, especially in Kornwestheim. It's in the city center, but it's not the Brandenburg Gate or anything like that, and definitely not a justification for the completely exorbitant price.

"Highly recommended! The Yaprak doner here is simply fantastically juicy, perfectly seasoned, and wonderfully tender. The quality of the meat is immediately noticeable, and the fresh side dishes round off the whole experience. I was also particularly impressed by the friendly staff, who were always patient and attentive despite the busy times. Anyone looking for a true doner highlight should definitely try this shop.

As a born and raised Canadian boy, I never had food like this available growing up. I can not say enough amazing things about the food and staff at this restaurant. The outdoor patio is relaxing and inviting. The staff is friendly and attentive. It's a very popular spot and worth the wait. You can certainly tell the quality of the meats used and freshness of all the vegetables. Moving from Vancouver Island to Kornwestheim is a big adjustment, but I always feel welcome at the restaurant and keep coming back. I recently ordered the Yaprak Special Plate for takeout. It was every bit as good as if I was eating there. I opted for the rice option instead of fries and it was incredible. The rice compliments the flavors of this dish so well. The place keeps amazing me with their flavors. You may think it is just another Döner/Kebap place, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Sorry, but it's just not right that you have to wait a whole hour for a kebab, even when it's busy. Then you should ensure that waiting times are shorter, for example with a second kebab skewer and a second server. As good as the kebab is, it's not worth waiting an hour for my food.

I've read many good reviews about the Yaprak Grillhaus, and I can now absolutely confirm them! Upon entering the shop, I was immediately struck by how spacious and inviting the interior and exterior areas are: plenty of seating, and everything was clean and tidy. The young cashier was very friendly, spoke excellent German, and immediately made a pleasant impression. The whole place feels like a lovingly run family business: The father cuts the meat from the large doner kebab skewer, the mother fills the doner kebabs, and all with freshly baked flatbread, which tastes like pizza bread with delicate roasted aromas. Truly delicious! The meat itself tastes high-quality and not like the typical pressed meat; you can recognize the fibers, the texture is pleasant, and the flavor is completely convincing. The vegetables were freshly cut, the sauces homemade and well-seasoned. One small criticism: unfortunately, card payments are only accepted for orders over €15. A doner kebab costs €14, which is reasonable given the quality, but card payment was only possible after I ordered an extra portion of meat. With a single price of €14, it might be worth considering whether the card payment fees could simply be factored in. All in all, though, a great kebab shop with a lot of heart, great quality, and a pleasant atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

The doner kebab is really very good. But if I'm paying €11.50 for a doner kebab, I expect it to have a decent portion of meat. Otherwise, 5 stars. Edit: I was there again today and have to correct myself. Today's doner kebab was among the best, if not the best, I've eaten in all of Germany. The portion of meat was significantly larger than last time, which was definitely noticeable. The meat made the doner juicy enough that you could eat it without sauce (it's actually much better; I'd recommend it without sauce with onions and tomatoes). The meat juice/fat just ran down the doner, which is how it should be with good meat. I've been to every major city in Germany and eaten at the best doner kebab shops and have recommendations. Yaprak Grillhouse is by far the best doner kebab shop in the Stuttgart area, if not the best in Germany.

The ingredients were super fresh, and the bread was perfect: soft on the inside, crispy and warm on the outside. It was truly delicious. My only minor criticism was the meat, which I personally found a bit too fatty. Nevertheless, the overall taste was very good. It was very busy in the evenings, so be prepared to wait if you go during peak hours. The price was a bit too high for a kebab for my taste, but the quality of most of the ingredients made up for it. All in all, a delicious kebab and a good place, if you're willing to put up with the wait and the price!

The kebab tastes really great, the meat is tender and you can tell the quality. However, the price has increased by 2 euros within a year. In addition, you now have to wait at least 40 minutes for a kebab. I ordered two kebabs, but in the end I was only served one because apparently there wasn't enough meat left. The Iskender costs a whopping 17 euros, but unfortunately it was anything but a real Iskender. I used to enjoy going there, but I don't think €10.50 for a kebab that is rather small is justified. For this price I expect at least a much larger and fuller portion. The quality is good, but since the hype it has simply become too expensive.

Junior wanted to go to this kebab grill because of the top ratings from several influencers. Apparently top 5 in all of Germany... As soon as you enter the restaurant, a woman jumps out at you and wants to know what you want to eat, then you get a buzzer and are told to leave the store. Mmhm okay then we waited outside for over 25 minutes before we were allowed back in and chose the ingredients. The concept seems to take some getting used to but is okay because the store was well stocked. Let's come to the kebab😎, top 5 in Germany😎 I can only say people, let these camera junkies chatter, the kebab is no better than at Ali around the corner! The beef, which is supposed to be so great, tasted too much like lamb to me, I can't tell whether it's lamb fat or the skewer is mixed with lamb, but the taste was noticeable. The herb/yoghurt sauce had no power at all, tomatoes, cucumber and onions were fresh. The bread is rather crispy, tastes like homemade, personally I like it better when toasted. Conclusion: The hype due to the influencers is definitely exaggerated, so I bought it especially from Berlin, Mannheim or wherever they come from just to eat the kebab.

Anyone who comes here plans to wait a little and will be rewarded with excellent Turkish dishes. You can get almost everything exactly the same in Turkey.
