Great food, but it's incredibly crowded on weekends...reservations would be better.

Unfortunately, I feel compelled to leave a negative review. Our group of eight found the food to be of acceptable quality. However, the service, and especially the waiter's behavior, was extremely disruptive. We had made a reservation for this evening based on the information on your website that the restaurant closes at 11 pm. At 10 pm, however, the waiter told us to hurry up. When I pointed out that the online information stated 11 pm as the closing time, the waiter replied that this was incorrect and engaged in an argument. Ultimately, we were forced to pay the bill and leave the restaurant. This constitutes very poor and rude service.

We went there for the buffet. Almost everything on display was cold to lukewarm. The fresh grilled food was so unprofessionally cooked that not a single dish was cooked to the correct doneness. The taste was below standard. To top it all off, the staff was overwhelmed and unfriendly. The restrooms were unhygienic, and some of the plates were also dirty. The whole evening was a huge disappointment. The restaurant isn't worth it, except for the sushi. That was okay. In short: Even with a generous interpretation, this place is a disaster.

A few friends and I ate at this restaurant, and never again! The staff insulted me because I asked for a tissue. The food was disgusting, too. And this waiter, who was eating cats, kept bothering us, trying to charge us extra for a few nuggets on our plates. He kept trying to get us to leave. Communication was a bit difficult, but otherwise it was very good. There's something for everyone, whether meat-eaters, vegetarians, those with a sweet tooth, etc.

The food is top quality and amazing. We love coming here, and the price/performance ratio is great, you can afford it.

It's a mass-processing experience: self-service at the buffet and for cold drinks. You even get your own coffee from the vending machine. The food tastes good and the selection is huge, with something for every taste. Unfortunately, the food at the buffet is only lukewarm. The plates aren't even warmed. The restrooms, while clean, are very damaged (the cistern covers are missing, and the door locks are broken). What a pity.

The buffet here costs 22.90 euros. This includes a huge buffet with a huge selection. There is ready-made food and a raw buffet that you can put together yourself and have it freshly prepared. The funny thing is that when the food is ready, a talking robot brings it to your table. It's very funny. Non-alcoholic drinks such as cola, lemonade and various juices are included in the price. You can refill your own drinks as needed. Beer and wine have to be paid for. The selection was really great! Even kangaroo meat and sushi are available. The service was really friendly. In the evening the buffet is more expensive at 33.90 euros. At lunch the buffet with drinks is really great for 22.90 euros. Unfortunately, everything wasn't really hot. This urgently needs to be improved. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed it and will come back with the hope that next time everything will be hot

It's unbelievable how little quality is offered here. The food is truly inedible. 34 euros per person for the buffet is outrageous, for some of the food is spoiled. I almost threw up at the table after biting into a cream puff and quickly realizing the cream was spoiled. I pointed out to the manager that the cream puffs were no longer good... he went to the buffet and said, "Yes, they're already too soft." My colleague cleared it away immediately. An hour later - the cream puffs are still there!!! And different people keep helping themselves to the assembled cream puffs. Unbelievable!!!!! What's going on there. Over 70 euros thrown in the trash. Never again!!!!!!

We picked up two meals using the "to-good-to-go" app. €5.50 per portion Pickup between 2 p.m. and 2:20 p.m. 1. I think it's great that not everything left over from the buffet is thrown away. 2. I was there for the evening buffet. The food is truly delicious, you can't complain. But: The price of €34.90 per person is absolutely exorbitant – and not even a drink is included! I also found the staff very unfriendly, which unfortunately significantly spoiled the overall experience...!

We arrived at 8:30 p.m. Most of the food was empty except for leftovers. The meat was dried out, and the rice, noodles, etc., were also so dried out that they were inedible. On August 18, 2025, we celebrated a child's birthday party at the YANIDA restaurant with 17 people, spending several hundred euros. As we were leaving, we witnessed a German family being offered cookies by an employee, who pointed out that not everyone could get them. As we were there as a foreign family with several women wearing headscarves, we found this situation unpleasant and disappointing. Based on this experience, we will not be visiting the restaurant again.

The selection of fresh fish and meat is good, and the sushi was also delicious. Unfortunately, our visit was still very disappointing. Already 1.5 hours before closing time, the buffet was slowly being cleared away and not replenished. Over an hour before closing time, most of the lights were turned off, and we were asked to pay in advance – this clearly seemed like a warning to leave. This was very unpleasant and not in keeping with a hospitable restaurant experience. On the positive side, the waiters were friendly and attentive. Nevertheless, this is not how you treat guests – unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend it, and we won't be coming back.

We visited Yanida for the first time today. The restaurant has a very modern and friendly design. The food was delicious, the buffet selection was varied, and the servers were very attentive. We highly recommend this place. Keep up the good work!

If I could, I would give this restaurant 0 stars. The food was cold and hard, the sushi absolutely stank of fish, which shouldn't be the case with salmon. A piece of our duck was completely green, and when we asked what that was, he just said it was normal. In the end, after arguing with the waiter, we paid €50!!! We both only ate a few bites. The waiter told us that for €35 per person (Sunday evening rate), we could eat and drink anything we wanted – without restrictions. We enjoyed a leisurely meal spread over several hours. I was at the Yanida restaurant and was absolutely delighted! A very cozy place with a pleasant interior and atmosphere, where you want to linger. The food is simply amazing - fresh ingredients and original combinations of flavors. I especially liked the sushi and rolls, they were a real discovery! The service is attentive and friendly, thanks to the waiters for their care. A great place to spend time with friends or at a romantic dinner. I will definitely come again!

We celebrated a bachelorette party today and absolutely loved it! We had originally reserved a private room, but due to limited space, we were given a second room without any hassle and at no extra charge – simply fantastic! The service was outstanding: very attentive, friendly, and accommodating. We were able to enjoy our privacy without being disturbed – exactly what we wanted for this special occasion. We especially appreciated the fact that the staff even waited for us until after closing time so we could celebrate in peace. We were completely satisfied and are already planning our next visit. The only good thing about the service is the robot cat that brings you your food. Unfortunately, there's no way to speak to the staff, as they don't speak German. Yanida couldn't keep up with the food, although that's to be expected at an all-you-can-eat restaurant. Even when the dishes were refilled, the dry leftovers were left in the corner, and unfortunately, there weren't any plates available due to the "volume." We've tried more than five times in the last three years, and we'll definitely never be coming back.

I visited this restaurant with my daughter. Unfortunately the buffet was not sufficiently stocked and the way the food was handled was anything but hygienic. We both had serious stomach problems shortly after our visit. Unfortunately the staff had no control over guests carelessly putting back food that they had touched or even tasted. Overall disappointing. The staff also needs better training; unfortunately they also simply put back food that they thought had fallen on the table, such as seafood that was no longer refrigerated. Toilets not clean or intact. Faucet broken.

The selection of dishes was huge, from classic Chinese specialties to modern creations - all freshly prepared and incredibly tasty. The buffet was always well stocked and the quality of the food was consistently excellent. The service was quick and very friendly, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and inviting. What is particularly noteworthy is that there is something for every taste, whether meat lovers, vegetarians or fish lovers - everyone will find what they are looking for here. I'll definitely be back! Absolutely 5 stars!

We had our Christmas party there in 2024 and everyone thought it was great. Only my ID could be sent by post, which I put down as a deposit because the invoice was taken over by the company.
