Yamac Döner & Grill in Leipzig

I came here after a day of walking, quite hungry. At first I was wondering whether to get the XL or regular sized doner, but I settled on the regular. As it turned out, it was worth it: it was quite big, and I even ate too much. I also ordered an extra cheese, which was quite large. The prices for the amount and quality (and the doner tasted great) are good. The hot sauce I got was really hot, as they say, "cuts through". Overall, I recommend it.

Very nice employee always meets my wishes and usually exceeds them. I am impressed.

We were staying at a nearby hotel and were craving a kebab. We found what we were looking for here. The kebabs were a very decent size and of really good quality. Everything was fresh, and the cheese was actually real sheep's cheese. Eating here was definitely the right decision!

Absolutely recommended! Excellent value for money. A good selection of food and drinks, super friendly staff, quick preparation, and the food – in our case, two doner kebab plates and two big hamburger meals – was absolutely delicious. A generous portion for a big appetite. It's easily accessible in Leipzig Mitte, opposite the A&O Hostel, next to a large parking garage and the H2 Hotel, under cover at the FlixBus station. About a 5-minute walk to the city center. We'd love to come back.

For me personally, this is the best kebab shop in Leipzig. The price-performance ratio is absolutely perfect. Add to that the super friendly staff, which makes this shop a 10/10 in every respect. Every visit is always worth it, as you can definitely taste the love and effort that goes into the homemade sauces.

As already written, you might not really expect it in this corner (right next to the long-distance bus terminal), but friendly service and the best kebab in a long time👌

I've gotten a kebab there many times and I'm always satisfied. The taste is excellent and the portions are more than generous. The staff is very friendly, and a good atmosphere is a top priority. More visits will follow.

Top-notch doner kebab plate. Good meat, fresh salad, top-notch sauce, fries as they should be. And the portion is nice and large at a reasonable price (by today's standards). Better than many "Berlin doner kebabs," if I can say so as a Berliner. I don't know how well-known this place is, but for me, this is an absolute must.

Very nice people! After the Flix bus driver left me in the very late evening on the Leipzig station, I went helplessly to Yamac. I had lost all my belongings on the bus and people at Yamac were extremely friendly. They called the customer service for me and offered water. I will always appreciate their hospitality and kindness.

We were stationed at the H2 Hotel with the kids and needed something to eat. Here we not only received a friendly welcome but also had all the time in the world. The food was also very, very good and tasty and the prices were adjusted if you look everywhere. Gladly again when we are in Leipzig again. TOP satisfied, thank you

So the ambience is quite cool for the level of a train station hall. It would have a certain atmosphere, but not in a bad way. The kebab was standard. The meat is normal like everywhere else. It wasn't particularly seasoned. But fried to perfection. The bread didn't stand out either, it was just toasted normally. The salad was fresh and crunchy. Well portioned for consumption, but not particularly seasoned either. The chili sauce was nice and spicy, not ketchup-based, but I've had hotter sauces before. I really like spicy food. The herb sauce was also fresh, aromatic, but tasted like any other herb sauce at a kebab shop in Leipzig. The kebab was without question very tasty, but there was nothing special or outstanding about it. He didn't stand out from the crowd. But there was one thing I found exceptionally special and very good about this store. I have never seen this in any other store and it is ultimately a positive thing. And that is the friendly shop owner and his heart and his customer friendliness. He is like the friendly uncle from the neighborhood who helps and supports anyone and everyone with their problems. Very positive. Overall grade: 4.5 Service rating: 10.0 out of 5

Large Dürum 9€, chicken meat somewhere between fat and cartilage, not balanced in relation to the salad

The employee at this store simply kicked me out because I didn't order something on time. I wanted to do something quickly on the phone and then order something to eat. An employee came and asked if I wanted something to drink, I said no, I'll make an order later, and he told me to go out. I understand if the store was full and there were problems with the seating, but the store was almost empty. What's the problem if you just sit there for a moment and then place an order? No, you have to order something straight away and ask to sit down first.

After my friend and I crossed the threshold of this establishment, greeted the staff and, as usual as a visitor and customer, sat down at a table, the owners said that there is no place to sit unless you are going to order. Usually I don’t expect anything from döner shop, when buying coffee. But🤩 my cappuccino (3€) was the best coffee ever! The milk 🥛 was super tasty !!! The cashiers were friendly and fast 💨

The kebab definitely belongs in my top 3, even though I have been an enthusiastic kebab eater throughout Germany since 1997. We went because of the many positive reviews and can only confirm them: the meat was perfect, the sauces were just right and the bread was nice and crispy. (My girlfriend had the Dürüm kebab, I had the kebab bag - both simply fantastic!) The service was super nice, and the family atmosphere made the visit even more pleasant. You simply feel comfortable here. Absolute recommendation for anyone looking for one of the best kebabs!

It tasted really good. I paid €8 for the Dürum, which is 50ct more than in my city but it tasted really good. You can choose between veal and chicken, the roll was also big. Definitely recommended

Really delicious meat and sauce. No queuing at the train station, just take the Flixbus straight away and eat on the way. There's also beer, which was my salvation on Easter Monday, when even the food shops in the train station were closed.

I eat lunch here regularly and it always tastes delicious 😍 The meat (both veal and chicken) is nice and crispy and the vegetables are super fresh and delicious. The entire team is super nice and accommodating, you can eat there comfortably, there is enough space and at the end you can easily pay with a credit card. If you like it fiery, I can only recommend the hot sauce, it's really great! Definitely 5 stars from me and I'll be happy to come back again and again! 👍🏻

Als ich rein kam, war ich der einzige Kunde. Dönerfleisch war schon abgeschnitten und lag unter dem Spieß. Ich musste darauf hinweisen, frisches Fleisch zu bekommen, was weiß ich denn, wie lange das da schon abgeschnitten rumlag. Darauf wurde eher weniger freundlich reagiert, aber es wurde dann frisches Fleisch heruntergeschnitten für meinen Döner. Ich habe zum Mitnehmen bestellt, denn das Ambiente hat mich nicht direkt überzeugt. Am Spielautomaten hat jemand fluchend seine letzten Euros verbrannt und allgemein ist die Atmosphäre nicht sonderlich einladend. Der Döner war ansonsten essbar, nichts besonderes aber wenigstens habe ich ihn gut vertragen, kann man ja leider nicht bei allen Dönerläden sagen. Daher drei Sterne.

Wir holen unser Döner bzw Essen immer dort. Einfach immer lecker 👍 und in Nähe Hbf der beste 👌

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und bereiten die Speisen sehr schnell zu 🙂 Absolute Empfehlung!

Der Dönerladen mag zwar nicht idyllisch sein, durch seine Lage zwischen Parkhäusern und zum Verweilen einladen, aber er ist Sauber und Ordentlich. – hier steht eindeutig der Imbiss-Charakter im Vordergrund. Die Preise sind sehr gut (6€ für einen großen Döner), was diesen Ort zu einem wahren Geheimtipp macht. Die Auswahl ist groß und die Portionen sind schlichtweg riesig – hier wird wirklich jeder Hunger gestillt. Besonders positiv ist der frische Salat hervorzuheben. Die Saucen sind geschmackvoll und die Pommes knackig – eine gelungene Kombination für den perfekten Dönergenuss. Die Lage des Ladens macht ihn ideal für einen schnellen Snack vor oder nach einer Reise. Wenn man auf der Suche nach einer unkomplizierten und köstlichen Mahlzeit ist, ohne viel Schnickschnack und zu einem unschlagbaren Preis, dann ist dieser Dönerladen definitiv die richtige Adresse.

5 Sterne kann ich unterschreiben, es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Top!

Wir sind begeistert! Von außen zwar unscheinbar, aber super freundliche Mitarbeiter & der Döner selbst: perfekt! Eine große Portion und geschmacklich ein Traum! Absolute Empfehlung!

Essen sehr lecker und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Mein Flixbus hatte 2 Stunden Verspätung und durfte sogar vor Ort mein Handy laden.

Es gibt die Auswahl zwischen Hähnchen- und Kalbsfleisch. Der Döner hat sehr gut geschmeckt und der Preis 7€ mit Käse ist auch in Ordnung, für die Menge ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Sehr guter Döner in Bahnhofsnähe. Für den Preis bekommt man auch einen ordentlichen Döner mit gutem Fleisch und leckeren Soßen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hat uns als 8-köpfige Gruppe kurz vor Feierabend noch sehr gut verköstigt. Werde ich mir für den nächsten Leipzig-Besuch merken!

Wir haben uns 2 vegetarische Döner mit Halloumi zum mitnehmen geholt und haben gar nichts auszusetzen. Geschmacklich wirklich richtig gut, der Döner war ordentlich gefüllt und das Personal ist richtig freundlich. Wir haben pro Döner 6€ gezahlt.

Sehr guter Service und Döner grosse Portion und lecker

Jedes Mal, wenn ich reise, hält der Bus vor dem Restaurant an, und ich muss eine Mahlzeit nehmen, weil ich besonders gerne Fleisch esse. Dort war ein sehr netter junger Mann, aber leider ist heute Sonntag, der 16.07., und ich bin auf dem Weg nach Hamburg. Ich stieg aus und nahm ein Shawarma-Menü, aber ich fand den jungen Mann nicht, stattdessen waren andere Arbeiter dort. Ich sagte ihnen, dass ich Fleisch, nicht Hühnchen, möchte, aber da ich in Eile war, schaute ich nicht auf das Etikett. Ich zahlte 7 Euro und als ich zurück zum Bus kam und die Schachtel öffnete, enthielt sie nur Salat und zwei Hühnchenstücke, keine Pommes und kein Fleisch, das ich wollte. Ich war wirklich enttäuscht und meine Vermutung war leider richtig, dass ich allergisch auf Hühnchen bin.
