A very well-maintained place with a lovely atmosphere. The staff was extremely polite and attentive, the food was excellent, and the portions were generous. We highly recommend it!

Not really a big selection. Price performance rather poor! All sushis were with cucumber.. great for someone who loves cucumbers, annoying for everyone else.. repost was again 6 years later and it just got worse, never again

The sushi used to be amazing. However, the quality has now become significantly worse. You can tell that little salmon is used to save costs. Two years ago I came every weekend, but unfortunately that just doesn't make sense anymore. Please increase the prices and make high-quality sushi again instead of saving on quality. I don't come back for vegetable sushi anymore.

With a heavy heart I can only give this two stars. The reason is that the all you can eat for €27 simply fails in terms of taste and the selection of dishes. Unfortunately we wouldn't come back.

We ate “all you can eat”. Honestly speaking the sushi is not the best one. First of all fish is less in the sushi. The noodles and other foods are becoming cold ofter some tours. And I think what you are getting by “a-la-card” order and “all you can eat” is not the same quality. I paid 27 Euro + the drink what you can order.

Wonderful place with great all you can eat sushi, if you can eat your fill! The owner is also very nice and got us some fried banana on the conveyor belt as we were wanting to get up and pay.

It's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but it's 45,000 won per person, the quality isn't great, and they only sell sushi rolls, not regular sushi. The sushi rolls are even filled with cucumbers.

The ambience at Yakoolza is modern and inviting. The stylish furnishings and the pleasant lighting create a relaxed atmosphere that is perfect for enjoyable food. Service was friendly and courteous, and staff were always available to answer questions and make recommendations. However, the real highlight of Yakoolza is undoubtedly the sushi buffet. The selection of fresh fish, vegetables and other ingredients was impressive. From classic roles such as California and Maki to innovative creations with exotic aromas - there was something to discover for every taste. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients. The fish was fresh and tender, and the various rolls were artfully and lovingly prepared.

You can definitely visit this Japanese place. Central location between the mall and the memorial. Since I don't like sushi myself, I ordered individual (starter) courses, which were nicely prepared and tasty. Unfortunately, the food didn't blow me away. Our sushi friends at the table were also rather moderately impressed; there was even sushi left over. Nevertheless: I would recommend doing a test meal here.

Some of the staff seem slightly overwhelmed and the atmosphere takes some getting used to as you sit close to each other and across from each other around the treadmill.

We went here for all you can eat, €27. Various sushi, spring rolls and other small snacks run on the conveyor belt. A total of 108 plates are on the move at the same time. The sushi is tasty, but not top quality. Although it is freshly prepared by the chefs, it still doesn't taste quite as fresh.

Very good all you can eat offer, nice cozy atmosphere, three of us ate there and everyone was very satisfied, would like to come back!

Great place to fill your belly with all you can eat

During the waiting time (30 minutes) until we sat in our reserved seats, they could have at least offered something to drink! I found it really unnecessary to spend half an hour and just sit at a table with nothing! I didn't think all you can eat was that versatile either! But you'll definitely be full! It also tastes 3.9/5.

Unfortunately, despite having a reservation, we had to wait forever. Then they moved on. Can only recommend the Peking Duck around the corner!!!

Nice Asian restaurant with rotary sushi and a decent a la cart menu.

The sushi restaurant was a complete disappointment. The fish wasn't fresh, smelled unpleasant, and the all-you-can-eat menu was rarely refilled. The service was extremely slow, rude and didn't even say goodbye to us. There was also an unpleasant smell in the restaurant. Absolutely not recommended!

We ordered the sushi all you can eat. Unfortunately, the food was hardly varied, there was very little choice, actually only salmon, cooked tuna, vegetables and chicken, and the rice was a bit dry. I would not recommend the restaurant to real sushi lovers

Food was not worth the price. We were 5+ people in the group and noone really like the food very much. It wasn't bad, but it was lower than average. The drinks were served in dirty glasses and two glasses had actual food residue in them. We asked for two new drinks but they just poured one of the drinks into a new glass, rather than actually giving us two new ones. The waiter acted in a rather delusional manner and didn't understand why he'd serve us two new drinks when the previous two had food in them. Service was basically non-existent. The restaurant looked very nice but it was just another tourist trap, as suspected. Wouldn't recommend. There are better Asian restaurants in the city for about the same price. If the staff would've been more acommodating, then maybe they'd deserve at least three starts, but this is basically a perfect example of how to not run a successful restaurant. Wouldn't recommend to anyone who cares about hygiene and cleanliness.

Running Sushi was very good and a sufficient selection

We came here without a reservation and were still very well received and the food is simply great… never had such good sushi… all in all a great restaurant and a great team… very, very friendly… will definitely come again but with a reservation…

The all-you-can-eat sushi from the assembly line is great and definitely worth it. When you sit on the floor, the warm clothes are always a bit cool. Highly recommended.

We went there for the all you can eat on a saturday, it was a bit filled but nothing that’s not to be expected. The all you can eat is alright, and you can make suggestions and wishes for what comes next, which is amazing. The staff was very lovely and the atmosphere pretty comfortable. The only thing that lacked was the variety of sushi during the all you can eat, other than that no really solid experience for a good price !

We went there for running sushi (all you can eat) and it was fun experience but unfortunately they don’t have many options there and if you don’t eat a lot that would be a bit too expensive. We had dinner at the roll, but for the two hours we were there only 4 or 5 types of rolls came out of the kitchen, only 1 hot appetizer and the seaweed salad. Very little variety and very high cost for what it offers. Too bad, because the environment is nice.

An absolute must for sushi lovers. The quality of the sushi here is truly top notch – super fresh ingredients, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. There is a lot of attention to detail in the restaurant. Shortly after the store opened, the store quickly filled up. All the staff are very friendly and strive to ensure that you as a guest have a pleasant stay. Everything was very nicely prepared. At the end we were even allowed to give a little feedback and request sushi. Shortly afterwards we found our wishes on the tape. Highly recommended. All of the kart dishes were also very lovingly prepared and delicious. A recommendation for everyone.

One hour before the closure I was alone and I was told all you can eat was not available. I just wanted some different snacks then moved to this place. When I got there, was offered only a la carte and very indelicate. I trust the owner of this place would hand it better without Monday evening waiter host!!!

Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with Yakoolza. The selection of sushi types for All You Can Eat was very limited - it felt like there were only a few different types that were repeated over and over again. Classics such as shrimp, tempura or varied desserts were completely missing. For the price of 25.90 euros per person, I would definitely have expected more variety. Even for dessert there was only baked bananas. Overall, I don't think the price-performance ratio is justified.

My friend and I went to Yakoolza today and were unfortunately more than disappointed. I'm shocked that the restaurant has so many positive reviews. The sushi at the all you can eat was always the same and didn't taste good. I've already been to many other sushi shops, but in Hamburg or Denmark, where for the same price you can get much better and more unusual sushi, edamame, matcha ice cream, a grill bar with meat, fish and seafood, coconut soup, etc., so for everyone there is something there. In Hamburg it's a conveyor belt sushi with two floors, cold at the bottom and warm at the top. The only dessert at Yakoolza was baked banana, which was cold. I didn't like the whole concept of sitting so close to or across from strangers. We also sat so that hardly any sushi reached us. It felt like what little sushi there was was what was left of the “a la carte” because it was very diverse. As I said, for us it was always the same 10 things. And we had the feeling that there was hardly any fish in the sushi, but mostly rice, so our appetite quickly disappeared. Unfortunately, it wasn't a successful end to our short trip to Berlin. 70€ for two drinks and the sushi were just too much.

The concept is great. Was wishing to go for a while. Maybe the music could be better. Large menú with vegan/veggie options. Loved it. Would visit again and recommend it.

At the time of our visit, it was a very quiet restaurant offering a menu or all you can eat. Everything is freshly prepared and very appealing. The small sushi plates for all-you-can-eat travel through the restaurant on a conveyor belt. The variety of sushi plates is given. Staff was very friendly. Accessibility is a given. There is a limited number of car parking spaces. Possible within the week without a reservation. Gladly again!

We took the Running Sushi. It was great. We had like an average of 14 plates per person plus drinks. Food is nice but the waiter forgot our request of another washabi and ginger.

The taste is okay, but there are differences in reality and in the menu in the amount of salmon. They try to reduce expenses this way, I understand, but I agree to pay only with the full understanding of what I get.

We are always looking for good restaurants in Berlin. Due to where we live, Wilhelmstrasse is currently our focus. Over the last few months we haven't gotten past the first Asian restaurant on our way. Now we went to Yakoolza specifically to eat sushi. We were very positively surprised. Very attentive staff, a visually absolutely appealing menu that simply explained the selection of sushi shapes, colorful and diverse. Due to the constant circulation in this restaurant, which includes a sushi carousel, the food is freshly prepared. Priced absolutely in the normal range under 20 euros, very good quality. We took advantage of this opportunity and were well served from the lemonade to the dessert. Thank you for the unexpected experience. HG HB

The food is good, the service is terrible, the variety of sushi that passes on the conveyor belt is very limited. It's not worth the 25 euros. The sushi on the conveyor belt never changes, it's always the same.

We came here at lunchtime and there was hardly anything going on. We were greeted and served very nicely, the food came quickly and tasted very tasty. The atmosphere is really great and you can choose between a la carte or sushi all you can eat.

Me and my gf went a bit before dinner time, so there was only us and another couple on the sitting at the sushi belt. The service was good, but the food was severly mid, the sushi seemed kinda stale there where only about 4 or 5 kinds of sushi, none of them particularly impressive.

In my opinion, the sushi band runs from around 5 p.m. The price has shot up since Corona, but is still good for all-you-can-eat. 1 point deducted because the sushi plate covers could be a little cleaner. I find the sushi itself very tasty and fresh! I've been there many times and I'm always happy to come back.

The furnishings are modern and cozy at the same time, which creates a pleasant ambience. The menu offers an impressive selection of sushi creations, including both traditional and creative variations. I chose the omakase menu, which included a variety of freshly made sushi pieces. Every bite was a true taste experience! The freshness of the ingredients was second to none and the combinations were perfectly balanced. I would particularly like to highlight the signature roll with grilled salmon and avocado - it was simply delicious. The presentation of the food was also excellent. Each dish was lovingly prepared, making the meal a visual delight. The staff was always attentive and gave us helpful recommendations that made our experience even better. In addition, the restaurant offers an excellent selection of sake that goes perfectly with the food. I can only recommend it, whether for a romantic dinner or a social evening with friends.
