Yakamoz in Eschweiler

Ich war heute mit meiner Freundin bei Yakamoz und wir wurden so zuvorkommend bedient, wie nirgends anders in der Gegend. Das Essen kam schnell, wir haben mit dem Chef gequatscht und das Essen war fantastisch. Ich würde 6 von 5 Sternen geben, wenn ich könnte.

Es handelt sich um ein türkisches Restaurant. Das Essen schmeckt gut ist aber auch etwas teurer und übersichtlich. Grillteller für 2 Personen 44 Euro. Für 2 Personen 70 Euro inkl. Getränke ausgegeben.

Bei schönem Wetter kann man draußen auf dem Eschweiler Marktplatz essen. Sehr schön.

Super lecker, alles frisch und zu fairen Preisen. Der Service ist top (immer freundlich und aufmerksam) und das Ambiente wie im Urlaub, einfach gemütlich 😍 Kann man einfach nur weiter empfehlen 👍

Man kommt nicht auf den Parkplatz, die Einfahrt ist abgesperrt. Es macht überhaupt nicht den Eindruck, ein türkisches Restaurant zu sein. Ich bin hingegangen, ohne etwas zu essen, und bin dann in ein anderes türkisches Restaurant gegangen.

Wir bitten die Angestellten, einen Moment zu warten und nicht gleich nach unseren Wünschen zu fragen, sobald wir Platz genommen haben, aber das Lokal ist schön.

Nicht zu empfehlen kaltes essen und sehr lange gedauert

Der Service und die Präsentation waren gut; solange die Aufmerksamkeit und Sorgfalt so bleiben, ist es ein Ort, den ich immer wieder wählen werde :)

Wir waren heute da und sowohl der Service als auch das Essen waren super. Wir kommen wieder!

Leckeres Essen. Große Auswahl an Speisen. Für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Das Ambiente stimmt. Das Lokal war voll und trotzdem war die Bedienung immer da. Der Chef ging von Tisch zu Tisch und hat sich erkundigt ob alles OK war. Man sollte auf jeden Fall einen Tisch reservieren.

Ich habe Samstag meinen Geburtstag im Xakamoz gefeiert. Und ich war wie bei allen meinen Besuchen zuvor, wieder total begeistert! 🤩 Tolles Ambiente, super leckeres Essen und eine freundliche Bedienung! Obwohl das Restaurant bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt war, sorgte das Personal für einen reibungslosen Ablauf und ließ sich den Stress nicht anmerken! Eine richtige Wohlfühlatmosphäre! 👍🏻

Schlechtester Service, unhöflich und man kann nicht einmal nach einem Update fragen.

Seit dem 01. Januar 2026 gilt in der Gastronomie ein dauerhaft ermäßigter Mehrwertsteuersatz von 7 % auf Speisen. Dieser wird leider nicht an die Kunden weitergegeben, obwohl die Preise dadurch eigentlich um 12 % sinken müssten.

Service wirklich zuvorkommend, Essen hat geschmeckt und ich würde wieder kommen. Die Portionen sind mMn schon klein, den Grillteller für zwei Personen macht gerade eine Person satt. Manche Komponente schmecken mir persönlich nicht gut, oder weil ich sie von zuhause aus anders kenne. Jede Region kocht es ja bekanntlich anders.

Nette, höfliche Kellner, ordentliches Fleisch, wir haben keinen Alkohol getrunken, daher kann ich dazu leider keine Aussage treffen.

Wir waren hier auf unserer Firmenweihnachtsfeier. Der Service war sehr gut, so auch die Vorspeisen. Unser Kalbsrücken war aber eine Frechheit: Wie eine Schuhsohle und die Bratkartoffeln stellten sich als Wedges heraus. Für den Preis schon dreist. Mein Kollege hatte das gleiche Gericht und die selbe Meinung dazu. Fazit: Für ein paar Snacks und ein Getränk sicherlich geeignet, für ein Abendessen würde ich aber nicht noch einmal herkommen.

We went to this restaurant on Saturday for a company party – unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The service was terrible: everything took forever, and the food and drinks were served extremely slowly. The food wasn't tasty, and the drinks tasted like they'd been watered down – very weak and tasteless. The atmosphere was also unpleasant: there was no music at all, and we felt like we were in a cafeteria rather than a restaurant. Overall, the atmosphere was very bad, and it pretty much ruined the evening. I wouldn't recommend it.

A lovely restaurant with delicious Turkish food and very friendly service. We were able to have a good conversation with our group of colleagues at the large table in a quiet atmosphere.

This restaurant has been a fixture in this area for many years – and rightly so! The atmosphere is cozy and authentic; you immediately sense the long tradition and attention to detail. The food is always fresh, prepared with high-quality ingredients, and tastes simply delicious. I would especially like to emphasize the friendly service, which makes every visit a true pleasure. My tip: Be sure to try the homemade raki – a real highlight that goes perfectly with the meal and rounds off the evening wonderfully!

We had a mixed fish platter for two. Excellent value for money. Of course, I was delighted to meet Mr. Tuğcu in person! The inventor of YAKAMOZ Rakı :-)

I realized I had never drank raki before... I recommend Yakamoz, a truly appreciative signature product, to everyone... The food was legendary as was the owner. I highly recommend it.

We've been going to this wonderful restaurant for a while now. This time, with a visitor from Hanover, they were absolutely thrilled. The food was delicious, the staff very attentive, and the owner even comes to greet his guests and doesn't shy away from clearing the tables.

Very nice restaurant. We were served very friendly. Everyone really enjoyed it, whether they were vegetarians or meat lovers, everyone got their money's worth. I was there for the first time. Only one of our group had already been there often and was always happy to do so. It won't be the last visit for me either.

Good restaurant. Delicious food, good service. The rather large restaurant was full on Friday evening, so please make a reservation! The service was friendly, but not outstanding (don't expect a lot of knowledge about the wines). The food was good. There is bread with 2 delicious dips in advance. We only ordered a few starters as a large group, but it was still far too much. I therefore recommend just starters or just a main course.

After many years, Yakamoz is still one of our absolute favorites. Everything is just right here, the warm welcome, very nice staff, delicious food and a great ambience.

For me, Yakamoz is one of the best restaurants in the city. I've been eating there for over 10 years now. I've never been disappointed so far. Service and food are of the usual quality. The atmosphere is very cozy. Everything is very clean and tidy. I think it's great that the boss personally takes part in the service and maintains pleasant contact with his guests at the table at all times! You definitely have to try the house raki 👌🏻

Everything was tip top from the food to the ambience. Very friendly service, where the boss doesn't hesitate to clear tables and always has nice small talk. In addition, the in-house Raki Gold is one of the best ever. We took two bottles with us straight away. Absolutely recommended location for anyone who loves Turkish cuisine. A small personal point of criticism: I had Adana Kebap, which was of top quality, but not seasoned enough for me, as I know differently from TR (Adana). But that's probably just my personal feeling.

When it comes to cuisine, it's the best thing about Eschweiler Marktplatz! We still had to work hard on the organization of the service, because no waiter knew exactly which table had already been served or not... and how to put a beer glass in front of the guest, for example, would also be a training measure! Kitchen great, service to be improved greatly! ...Update 2024, unfortunately the kitchen has also declined and the service is still not good. We won't be going here anymore for the time being.

I love Turkish cuisine and recently went there with my husband. The food was great as always, but I didn't think the service was good this time. You're sitting at the table with nothing left to drink and the waiter is chatting at the bar for almost the entire evening

I've eaten there many times and been annoyed too! The food is expensive and the plates get emptier over time. The highlight and my last visit there was a few weeks ago. We decided quite late to have a little something to eat there. The waiter was very unfriendly, served us because he couldn't help it and reserved the right to keep change despite the tip!!!! When we asked, we got this! Sorry, doesn't work for me! I come from a service-oriented profession and can't afford that kind of behavior! Yakomoz won't see me again for the time being.

We were there on August 17th. eat at Yakamoz. There was a lot going on because there was a town festival in Eschweiler. But this didn't hurt the service. There were a lot of employees there and we were able to order quite quickly. There were four of us and we shared the mixed starter plate, which was enough for us. Because the portions are quite generous. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. And the raki was great!! Definitely worth a visit! We'll definitely come again!

Oh well.. I was there for the first and last time. The food is mediocre. Nothing special, and unfortunately too expensive. The staff seems very stressed and even annoyed, they get simple requests like packing food etc. Don't go. Once again a restaurant: more appearance than reality.

Yesterday we celebrated my birthday at Yakamoz with the family. The food was delicious and everyone loves children and animals. The service is friendly and attentive. When the weather is good you can sit outside and watch the hustle and bustle at the market. We had great weather and it was a very successful evening
